A big thank you to Linda and Caroline at ECL for all the help they provide. They are friendly and professional and have a wealth of experience in finding employment for people with special needs. Their help is invaluable.

Met with Linda Lloyd very approachable and calming to talk to and explained everything in a way I understood.

As an ex employee I visited the monthly Marylands Daycare dementia support cafe in Colchester today. A family arrived with their loved one who used to attended Marylands. The family still come to gain support from the staff and manager and show their continued support for such a wonderful friendly coffee and chat morning. The environment is excellant and as always is welcoming by all staff on site.

We are very pleased with the support we have been receiving from our ECL Job Consultant Mrs Katie Connolly. She has been very supportive and caring from day 1. Katie has been very encouraging through out the process of job searching. She has found us job opportunities through her contacts which we would not have known about. Katie's presence through out the whole interview process was very reassuring and led to a positive outcome! Thank you Katie for the fantastic work you are doing!

Massive shout out for Gabriella Twine the CAVS Info and Advice Coordinator for ECL South West. So cheerful and calming when we were faced with trying to settle mum back at home following a full hip replacement at 88 years old. Clear and insightful while we were trying to navigate the numerous support and care teams as mum copes with the physio and logistics of restarting what for her is a new chapter. Shopping and cleaning team connections, not to mention the guidance she provided when trying to tackle applying for attendance allowance. A true angel of a lady!

While i was there the people working at ECL made me feel very welcome and wanted to help me. i found their workshop sessions helpful and i hope they continue to help others.

Linda Lloyd screening officer for assisted employment was very good with our 32 year old daughter with a new diagnosis of autism . She was so empathetic and not judgmental even when our daughter was overcome with Anxiety about her past issues with previous employment . She made it clear to our daughter she is there for her when she is ready to be screened and go ahead with support for new employment to empower her with the strengths she does have .

I want to say a massive 'thank you' to Diane Flore Yeou. You've been the most amazing Job Coach that Alfie and I could've ever wished for. Nothing is ever too much for you. Your love and passion makes you go above and beyond. We are both incredibly grateful to be able to share Alfie's Amazon experience with you. His future is seeming very exciting and bright. You've made Alfie's journey into work so smooth. Due to your bubbly personality, caring nature and persistence you're making Alfie's dreams come true one step at a time.

I want to say a profound thank you to Diane, Kingdom and the whole team at ECL. The assistance given and still being given to my son and to the whole family is beyond fantastic. Since we met at my son’s College, they have always looked out for his best interest Always feeding back to us and ensuring my son is well cared for and given opportunities to be able to become someone of pride to himself and family despite his disability.
Now working at Amazon, a job opportunity that Jake would have lost if not for Kingdom advocating for him, Diane is constantly making sure he is supported in all the ways he could be. I could go on and on about their immense support, but will end by saying that they do more than their job required. They go beyond and provide the specific support my son and his colleagues each need daily. I am grateful and only God can repay their efforts. Once again THANK YOU.

The ECL day centre team are wonderful. They are all so warm and welcoming, and for my mum who has Dementia the centre is just what she needs, with activities and crafts and games that keep her mind engaged and she enjoys the company of all the kind staff and other visitors. Well done to everyone, you’re doing a terrific job.

My disabled daughter goes there 3 times a week and loves it the smile is huge when she turns up and comes out laughing and giggling when we pick her up.
They have to many staff I could mention who take great care off my daughter whom to them its more a lifestyle then a job.
For us parents its nice to no she is well looked after and we do not need to worry about her..
Great job everybody there keep up the great work all of you do.
For parents like us of disabled and special needs people you are our 4th emergency service.

I've with ECL for 2 years and it's been invaluable I've been employed since them being in my life their constant support and care has helped me though problems and also they are helping me to try and achieve a dream job of mine which I wouldn't be able to think of without them Jennie and Abbey have been helping me throught with everything and I can't thank them enough I'm so grateful for them

We met with Louise Simpson at
ECL today regarding support for my son, Freddie, and the experience was extremely positive. Louise was very attentive, kind, and genuinely understanding. She immediately put Freddie at ease, using a light-hearted and friendly approach that helped him feel comfortable and listened to.

Louise took the time to clearly explain what care and support would look like if Freddie is successful in accessing support through ECL, ensuring everything was easy to understand and tailored to his needs. She was patient, reassuring, and very professional throughout.

Overall, it was a really positive experience, and we both came away feeling informed, supported, and hopeful. Thank you to Louise and ECL for such a thoughtful and compassionate approach.

The crafty drama show on friday 5th of December scrooge was amazing the staff worked so hard all year getting the group to learn there lines everyone was involved the people in the church loved it was amazing well done cant wait for next year Big thank you to the staff 👍🎄🎅

I attended Crafty Drama’s show Scrooge on 5th December 2025. The show was fantastic, everyone was included. From not so abled to very abled, everyone got to take part. The customers really enjoyed themselves. The staff are brilliant and encourage everyone. I’ll definitely be attending next year!

Louise Simpson was absolutely brilliant and so so lovely with my son and I today. She was very sensitive when asking and finding out necessary information during the screening process. My son suffers with anxiety and ahe immediately made him feel at ease. We highly recommend Louise and we are truly thankful and very grateful for her support and kindness today. My experience with ECL (Felicity) was great! She helped me motivate myself in applying and helping me with my CV. Been supporting me with applying and what to say, which is really useful. Now I have a job that I absolutely love, all thanks to her! She’s a lovely person! Thank you.
