Great service and would recommend
My dad contacted eco energy Services regarding having heating installed. They came out last Saturday done a survey and informed us that he was entitled to having it installed with no charge.
I was skeptical at first and wondered what was the catch, but there was no catch.
Had phone call on Tuesday and It was installed yesterday and today.
The lads were great and I can now relax and know my dad will be warm in the winters.
I’d highly recommend this company
Pushy scammers who get commission for surveys.
I don't usually like leaving negative feedback for businesses but I feel compelled to warn others of this company. When called by this company, lots of promises were made for a new boiler. Our boiler is the right type of boiler for the eco4 scheme. They booked a surveyor the following day who attended our property for over 2 hours. The surveyor called using a mobile. We were promised that we would receive a decision about the grant in several days and based on the documents we supplied, there was a 90% chance that the grant would be successful as "the company would not waste their money booking surveyors to come otherwise"... After the surveyor attended, suddenly my calls were not being answered, the surveyors number was not available and there was no reply on the WhatsApp messages. 2 months later and still nothing. I spoke to my local council about them and was told that they were pushing for a survey because they get paid for them regardless of whether the grant is approved or not. This company operate from a call centre sounding Indian and they are nothing but scammers. Please be very aware of this company. The reviews don't stack up with the service recieved and could possibly be fake . I have spoken to several local companies who don't operate in this way. Please be very aware.

Couldn't be happier. Having lived with old electric storage heaters for 30 years it is wonderful to have a gas boiler for central heating and hot water. The installation was quick, efficient and very clean. Three great guys, polite, respectful and very hard working. Thank you.

The contractors that come to my house …
The contractors that come to my house were fantastic, polite and respectful and very helpful with instructions on how to use new boiler however the company they worked for had miss estimated the time and effort it would be ,and only booked the fitting for a day which left me 13 day with no hot water or heating and after I contacted the fitting team who told me they were willing to work a Sunday to get me sorted ,I was then called bk and told they can't because the office doesn't have anyone to take pictures and verifi the work of the subcontractors which is a letdown on there behalf .the fitting subcontractors where amazing

The team that fitted my new boiler were fantastic. They discussed the job with me before doing any work. They were polite and respectful. They worked hard all day and got the job done in one day. I would highly recommend this company for your boiler replacement. Thank you so much.

My Boiler broke down and within two weeks a new one installed very quick service, three men called at 11am and worked late until fitted and working, they had a lot of problems but sorted everything, they were clean workers and very polite would recommend them to anyone/

I had a really old boiler from the 1950s so wasn’t really any good … this brilliant company came out and fitted a new boiler … the guys were really respectful of my home and covered all the floors with plastic .. they were none stop all day and completed the fit … they cleaned up and took my old boiler away for disposal… I would highly recommend using these guys / company .. thank you .

I had a boiler fitted by ECHO BOILERS around 18 months ago. The installation was poorly done and not fit for purpose.
Recently, the company contacted me saying they needed to carry out a survey to review the quality of the original work. I agreed, and the survey was carried out two weeks ago. Since then, I have tried multiple times to contact them for an update, but they are now ignoring my calls and not responding at all.
This is extremely unprofessional, and it confirms my concerns about their workmanship and customer service. Stay away from this company at all costs.
As they continue to ignore me, I am now preparing to escalate this matter to the Gas Safe Register, the Energy Ombudsman, and Trading Standards.

They obviously never got back to me. They did a survey and I haven’t heard off them. Avoid this company

I was sceptical at first about this…
I was sceptical at first about this grant and installation under the government EC04 scheme being too good to be true. However it is real and this installation company really delivered . I had a barely working 23 year old boiler, sludge in the radiators so most were constantly cold and faulty hot water system. I filled in a form online and someone rang me to get further details. At this point I was still sceptical, but was persuaded by the trust pilot reviews and the fact I had a broken boiler. They sent a surveyor all the way from Slough to do the survey of the house on the Wednesday. He has a lot of appointments so be patient with the timings on the day, as he travels all round the country. They rang the following day to say the government grant had been approved and to book me in. By the Saturday they were here at 9am ripping out the old boiler, tank and water cylinder. They replaced it with a brand new BOSCH boiler, chemically flushed through the radiators twice to ensure the sludge was gone and replaced all the valves and fitted expensive smart dials on the radiators to control the heat. By 6pm I had a brand new boiler, a fully heated house, all radiators working and hot boiling water coming out my taps. Start to finish less than a week.
The workmen were friendly, polite and worked so hard all day with barely a break. They were knowledgeable and answered my concerns and queries on the day. They kept going back to drain individual radiators that were playing up, as some were really full of sludge due to being so old, to make sure they were hot before they left. They cleaned up all the mess. They did a great job and the whole process was so quick. Recommend this company 100% thanks guys.

Any more and will start invoicing them for time!

Unorganised, Unprofessional and Unresponsive
I contacted Eco Energy Services Ltd to apply for an ECO4 boiler replacement. At first, the process looked straightforward, they reviewed my documents and photos and confirmed that I qualified.
They scheduled a property survey but rescheduled it from their side.
Eventually, a technician did come out and completed the visit.
However, things went downhill from there. During the survey, I received a call from another team member trying to book the same survey, clearly unaware it was already in progress. This suggested a lack of internal communication.
After that, the company went silent. I first followed up via WhatsApp, which is how they had been communicating with me, but I was completely ghosted, by both the company and the technician who came for the survey. I then called twice; each time I was told they’d get back to me, but nobody ever did.
On my following attempt by phone, I was told that my property is “too efficient” (FYI I have a E-rated EPC, a broken pre-2005 electric boiler, and a non-functioning electric shower). I asked for clarification on how this decision was made. The representative said she would transfer me to someone who could explain but instead, I was left waiting, and the call was eventually cut off.
It also raises the question: how are government-funded schemes being entrusted to companies that operate like this; -without any sensitivity or respect towards the people they're meant to support?
I understand that every business needs to make money, but if this is how they operate at the early stages, with poor communication, missed follow-ups, and vague, unexplained decisions, I have serious doubts about how professional or reliable they would be if actually awarded the job… as in “What happens if someone experiences problems midway through an installation and needs urgent follow-up? Would they simply be ghosted?
Overall, a disappointing and frustrating experience.

Avoid
The boiler installation was fine and it's working well. The loft insulation was something else entirely. My loft is part boarded and I was told the boards would be taken up, insulation laid and boards laid back on top. NOPE! Insulation was laid on top of the boards, totally useless for loft storage
