Eight months in my store is profitable, scaling steadily and running almost entirely on its own in the background. I check in for maybe twenty minutes a week and the rest takes care of itself. For someone who works full time and wanted a genuine second income stream without a second job this has been everything I hoped it would be and then some.

What I appreciate most is they never oversold me on the timeline. Told me from day one that meaningful returns take six to nine months minimum. That honesty prepared me mentally for the slow early phase and when month seven arrived and things really clicked I felt validated rather than surprised.

My account manager sends me a detailed report every single week without me having to ask. Breaks down what sold, what margins looked like, what optimizations were made and what the plan is for the coming week. That level of proactive communication is rare and it makes trusting someone with your investment so much easier.

Biggest lesson from my first year is that patience is literally the most important thing you need for this to work. More important than the company you choose, more important than the products, more important than anything. If you need money fast this is not the vehicle for that.

The store has been running for ten months and I've learned more about ecommerce in that time than I ever expected. Even as a hands off investor you pick things up just from reviewing monthly reports. Unexpected bonus of the whole experience honestly.

The automation side actually works really well. Orders get processed, tracking updates automatically, customer emails go out on their own. From an operational standpoint it's impressive. My only complaint is product sourcing feels a little limited compared to what I see other stores carrying.
