From first contact to completion of installation, I was so impressed with this company. They quoted me a very reasonable price for a full package (including battery) with no pressure or hard sell at all. Installation was organised quickly so I was all set up in no time, and once the system was properly connected to the battery - a software issue meant that there was a delay of a couple of days - my electricity bills went down to pennies per day. I can monitor the system using a simple app (as an elderly technophobe it had to be simple!) and it is all very clear and easy to manage. Overall I can't recommend this company highly enough. All the team have been great, providing a fast, efficient and responsive service.

I contacted Eco Sheffield about three weeks ago for a quote regarding solar panels and a battery for my home, and the entire process from start to finish has been nothing short of fantastic.

I initially spoke with Adam, who discussed my options over the phone and put together a detailed plan that perfectly suited both my budget and my home. Following this, Adam visited to carry out a comprehensive survey, which even included a drone inspection of the roof to ensure everything was of high quality and that the proposed system was a perfect fit.

The installation was arranged for dates that suited me, and the execution was incredibly quick and efficient. It was like a military operation! The scaffolding company arrived to set up, and the very next day, my solar panels were fitted. The coordination was brilliant: the equipment arrived at 8:00 AM, the electricians arrived by 8:15 AM to fit the battery and wiring, and the roofing team followed shortly after to mount the panels. The scaffolding was taken down the following day.

Throughout the install, I was kept fully up to date, and the team was more than happy for me to check on their progress. Once the system was up and running, they helped me set up the app and took the time to explain exactly what everything meant in terms of my energy usage and the amount of power the panels were generating.

I was particularly impressed that one of the company directors even visited the site to make sure everything was perfect and that I was completely happy with the installation. Throughout the whole experience, the entire team has been friendly, approachable, and patient with the never-ending list of questions I had.

EcoSheffield fitted our solar today and the process from initial phone call to installation and payment has been flawless.
Initially I had Adam who conducted the phone call, asking what we were looking at etc where he then visited the house to get a more detailed measurement of our roof using the drone so he could tell us exactly what we could fit.
Following this he sat down and went through all of the options available and prices accordingly.
Once booked in Adam called again with our "pre-install" conversation where he run through exactly what would be happening on the day, what times people would be turning up, and basically what to expect. Now the install is complete I can say the pre-install call timings were followed perfectly.
Scaffolding was erected just before the install, and removed the day after, including any tile repairs which got damaged.
On the day Adam was on site, along with Ryan, Kyle and Dave. All were extremely professional, polite and more than helpful with any questions or talking through what they were doing, why etc.
The install began around 8am and come 1pm the team had vacated leaving not a single trace of rubbish or remains.
Before leaving I was given a full explanation of the app that came with the system, showed how it works (boiling the kettle to see a spike in household usage) and ensured everything was correctly aligned.
Overall these guys can only receive the strongest reccomendation.
A very credible, hard working, local company used, of which I will return to in the near future when it comes to getting an EV charger install.

Had our EV charger installed and must say it’s been an exceptional experience. Truly great customer service from this business . They are professional polite and do care about the service and aftercare . Anyone looking for Ev chargers or another eco services - look no further and am sure you won’t be disappointed.

I recently had solar panels installed by EcoSheffield and I’m really pleased with the whole experience.
Adam did a great job coordinating everything from start to finish. He was very accommodating when we needed to make a few changes on-site and gave clear, practical advice throughout, which made the whole process feel straightforward and well managed.
The installation itself went smoothly, and the solar panels are now working really well ,we’re very happy with the results.

We’ve just had our solar system installed by ECOSheffield, and the entire experience has been exceptional from start to finish. Our setup included 19 x 465W panels, 8 kW of AlphaESS inverter power, and a huge 18.24 kWh of usable AlphaESS storage capacity with 2 x SMILE‑G3‑BAT‑9.6S batteries — a significant investment, and ECOSheffield delivered flawlessly.

The installation team were professional, polite, and clearly highly skilled. The fitters worked efficiently, kept everything tidy, and showed real pride in their work. They are very easy to deal with from start to finish. Adam was very helpful with our initial enquiry and quotation. Sam was very thorough answering our questions before and during the installation and made sure we were fully happy before leaving.
The quote was very reasonable and all the workman at our house were polite and respectful. I would highly recommend anyone considering solar panels to give them a call!

We recently had a 20 panel system installed with power wall and EV charger.
The whole experience was very professional. Sam, on his initial site visit was very knowledgable and listened to my naive requirements but advised me accordingly on what we needed and the best solution for my needs. I continued collecting more quotes but Ecosheffield did not push me for an answer to their quote and accepted my due diligence of gathering more quotes and advice.
We decided to go with Ecosheffield because of this and their quote was in the same ballpark as others that we had gained.
The install day was like a military operation with all timings and detail we needed. The contractors were all pleasant and very professional, clean and tidy whilst completing the works.
We now look forward to educating ourselves using the system to best effect.

From the very first enquiry we knew Eco Sheffield was the right company. Adam was fab, he was friendly, knowledgeable and explained things that was so easy to understand. From that first phonecall though we didn't expect just how amazing they would be. They kept us updated at all times. Turned up on time and Ryan the electrician is amazing at his job! The fitters Dan and Dave were so fast and all of them are lovely. We met Sam afterwards who came to clear their rubbish away which was wonderful and he was so lovely making sure we were happy. Getting solar panels was a big decision for us but Sam spent time talking me through all the options, answering any questions in an easy to understand way and giving me honest advice. He was always on hand throughout the process both by phone and email. I shopped around quite a bit before going with Eco Sheffield but they couldn’t be beaten for customer service or price - a rare combination!
The panels were installed really quickly and with minimal disruption. We had scaffolding up on day one, battery and panels installed on day two and scaffolding down on day three! Throughout Sam checked in with us to make sure everything was running smoothly and the on site team were great; Ryan the electrician even taking time to give us some advice on another electrical matter in the house.
I’m really pleased we’ve made the jump to get solar panels installed and that’s mainly down to the Eco Sheffield team. I would definitely recommend them to any friends/family looking to get solar installed.

I must start by saying that we didn't actually choose ecosheffield to install our panels - why am I adding a review? Well I wanted to say that my experience in obtaining a quote (which was the best one we got btw) and subsequent interactions (questions/advice) was top notch. The one and only reason we didn't proceed was that they are a fairly new company and the recommendation is always to use a well established company - and yes, I get how hard it must be to then become established. Just want to wish them well
