Fantastic service from Edwin Lake. From the moment I first spoke to Emma on the phone I knew I was in good hands. Zero pressure and so helpful through the entire process. We needed to reschedule due to timelines with the seller and they were brilliant at being accommodating. Richard who completed the survey was very thorough in going through everything with me on the phone, and the report was very good. Happy with my level 2 survey, thank you. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We recently used Edwin Lake to complete a survey for our house purchase. We were impressed with the service that they provided from start to finish. The communication from Emma and the Surveyor Richard who carried out the inspection was excellent. We would happily use their services again.

My first contact was a lady called Emma, she was so helpful and really lovely to speak to on the phone, she arranged my survey, Richard was delightful. He phoned me on the day of the survey, he talked me through step-by-step so I understood everything he was telling me, the survey report he wrote was excellent, could understand everything on it and explained very well, thank you so much for everything you helped me with.

My first conversation with Emma who helped to coordinate the appointment and answer any questions was fantastic, she was very friendly, reassuring and responsive throughout the whole process.

The survey itself was conducted by Richard who was incredibly thorough - he rang us after the survey and spent about 30 minutes taking us through the main points and answering any questions. The survey document itself was incredibly detailed while also being very structured and easy to read. Richard and Emma were also happy to answer any questions in the weeks following the survey. This extra support was highly appreciated.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. Gaining info on pricing & booking the survey was super easy, efficient and professional through Emma. I opted for a Level 2 survey and valuation which was seamlessly organised through the estate agent minimising my input. Received a call from surveyor Richard directly after the survey which was really detailed and helpful in making buy/do not buy decision. As part of the process, Richard negotiated the acquisition of relevant documents (structural engineer report) with the sellers enabling me to have all the facts and make an informed decision. The report itself was very comprehensive but easy to follow (I have no specialist building knowledge) and had summary sections detailing the main points. Following the survey report Richard was always available to answer follow up points and questions. 1000% will be using Edwin Lake in the future.

A very fast and easy experience from initial enquiry through to receipt of the completed comprehensive evaluation. Would recommend Edwin lake to anyone looking for a RICS property valueation

I rarely provide reviews, but on this occasion I felt compelled. I cannot recommend Edwin Lake surveyors more. I found the whole experience painless, from discussing the service offered and booking in the survey with Emma, to discussing the report’s findings and receiving the report from Richard.

The summary call held with Richard following the survey, prior to the report distribution, gave me a good idea of its findings. The report provided was thorough, comprehensive and well written. My brother, an associate building surveyor, also read the report and commented on its quality and thoroughness. I would definitely recommend Edwin Lake Surveyors!
