The entire process from planning, the guides, the hotels and the tours was extremely streamlined and pleasant to deal with. We also appreciate the nice group we were paired with.

I think the tour itself was pretty good and my son enjoyed it. The red-eye flight was not a great choice to start the trip as everyone was exhausted before things even started. I was also pretty unhappy with the way the insurance from EF was handled. I opted out when I registered but for some reason, the insurance was added to my account and charged monthly several months later. I had to call to get it resolved and in the first conversation that I had with the representative, she said she couldn’t refund it because I hadn’t cancelled within the first 3 months. Since it didn’t get added until after the first three months, it was an unfair loophole. Eventually I did get it refunded, but the whole situation was sneaky and shady. I happened to many of us and if I hadn’t been paying attention to my bank account, it would have gone undetected. That is pretty poor.

Our tour director and driver were both sensational! The programming was smooth and well-planned, and everything was interactive, interesting and highly engaging for students and teachers too! Truly a fantastic trip overall. All the museums and tours we went on were well designed for our students, and the programs we were involved in showed a high level of standards in all areas. I cannot recommend EF Tours enough after this experience. A HUGE shoutout to Leila our Tour Director!

So well organized. We liked the option of monthly payment plan, the tour information in one secure location, and most of all the mix between educational and fun activities. My daughter made lasting memories.

We had a clear plan for the places we wanted to visit, and everything stayed on schedule. The restaurant and hotel selections were excellent. However, I believe the experience would have been improved with more experienced tour guides who could lead the group for the entire duration of the trip. Additionally, I would have appreciated more coordination regarding our students' French language levels during the program planning phase.

There were different experiences offered, that reached every levels of interests.
Our guide François Tarantino was fantastic! We wanted to add a ferry and subway ride and he made it happen. He was knowledgeable and able to connect with our students. He made sure his French was accessible for our students. He made changes so we could get French interpreters at the different venues.

I loved the tour guide (Francois) - he was so kind to everyone on the trip. The food was really good but the pub was ideal because the food wasn’t that good. I loved everywhere we went and had an amazing experience overall. Thank you!!

When our original trip was cancelled due to weather, the team stayed in constant communication and worked quickly within a very short timeline to create an alternative plan. Within just three weeks of the cancellation, EF Tours had an entirely new trip organized and booked for us.

The London and Paris Experience was fantastic. We had the opportunity to truly explore and enjoy both cities without feeling rushed or constantly moving to a new destination every couple of days.

Everything was planned out smoothly. The activities the students participated in were engaging and entertaining. Having our own bus 24/7 was comforting as we needed to make several unscheduled trips/stops. The entire process from first contact with EF, to our actual tour was relatively seamless. Our Tour Director was not only knowledgeable and well-prepared, he was also patient with both the students and the chaperones, including the lead teacher;) We are already in the process of planning our next trip with EF. A very well organized and wonderful experience for us and our daughter! It was our daughter's first time on the EF Tour and she thoroughly enjoyed the culture, the learning and most of all the experience. She is excited for the next tour!

EF Tours provided an amazing experience, great itinerary!

Our tour director was great. I find they almost always are which is fantastic. I would like to be able to request certain guides and have them multiple times so that I know what to expect.

I think EF still needs to work on making sure that hotels are up to par. Some are of embarassingly poor quality, some are fantastic. It is not acceptable to stuff 4 students into a room meant for 2 or 3. Cots should not be used when students are paying as much as they are. I have been traveling with EF for 18 years and it keeps happening despite my request that it does not. Not all hotels do this but some do and it is infuriating. Also, so much time is wasted traveling to hotels far from the centre of cities or places actually being visited. It becomes very clear that EF is trying to save money by placing travelers in very far flung hotels.

Meals have improved over the 18 years I have traveled with EF but they still need improvement. Someone at EF should be overseeing the menus included on each tour so that there is not too much repetition or repetition at all. This tour, we were served the EXACT same past 4 nights in a row.

I still think the pacing of the tours need to be slowed down a bit as everyone is exhausted, especially the first and second days.
