Emailed customer services of EKO and the service and advice I received was outstanding. So much more than family want to order the same ‘worn-out’ part for themselves. Will definitely recommend and use again. 👏👏👏
I bought a bin a few months ago
I bought a bin a few months ago. Not sure how but one of the inner bins has cracked.
Contacted Eko to ask about a replacement. They charged £27 for the plastic inner bin and sent me one which was clearly second hand. It was in no packaging, has cat fur on it, loads of scratches and dirt. They offered me a £5 partial refund, which I think is more of an insult, especially as the bin is meant to be under a 3 year warranty!!

A truly brilliant customer service
A truly brilliant customer service. They identified my replacement part quickly providing a quote as well as manging my expectation on lead times. Once dispatched they didn't just rely on the courier they went further to ensure I had the product and it solved my problem. Superb.

Outstanding customer service from Lara who went over and above to find me a solution. You don’t often get an experience like this from companies today and it makes such a difference. I’m very pleased and will certainly be looking to the company for future purchases as a result of this experience and the product quality.

Lara Blake in customer service was sooo helpful and ensured I was looked after.
Prompt well-informed responses.
The only contact required was with Lara Blake in Customer Services who promptly answered my emailed questions concerning the lid of my EKO Mirage sensor operated waste bin which had finally failed after 3+ years of daily use.
She was able to answer everything I needed and chased up delivery of it which was slightly delayed. I’m very happy with the improved version of the lid too.
Great experience with EKO
Great experience with EKO. I bought a bin via John Lewis around 5 years ago, and the soft-close part recently stopped working. I reached out to EKO via email and they quickly sent out a replacement part free-of-charge that fixed the issue. Overall, happy with my purchase.

The customer service I received from Lara and Karen at EKO was very helpful. They helped me to apply a discount code that wasn’t working at first and helped to rearrange delivery after it was missed through no fault of their own. It was also nice that they followed up with me after delivery to ensure everything was all OK.
Excellent customer service
I bought an Eko bin through a third party, it arrived having suffered some damage in transit. The customer service team responded promptly, quickly sorting out a replacement and following up with me to make sure everything was right second time around. Very helpful.

I was truly impressed with EKO's customer service. The communication was excellent, and the delivery was surprisingly fast. This level of service is quite rare nowadays.
Great service and great bin
Fabulous customer service from Lara, after we managed to break the handle on our EKO bin. II really thought we would have to buy a new bin, but was pleasantly surprised to find that I could buy a new handle very cheaply. Easy to fit and very speedy service. Will always buy EKO bins now.

Excellent Service
I bought a bin from Costco sometime ago and was looking for a replacement top/lid for it. When I went onto the EKO website I saw that my model was no longer available. I used the "contact us" facility to enquire about a replacement part.
I received a reply from Lara who sourced a spare, advised me of the price and then arranged for an invoice to be raised and then despatched the part as soon as I had paid.
Top notch service all along the way, a well deserved 5*.
Not value for money - Warranty only 1 year
I purchased a sensor EKO bin from Costco sometime in 2022 for my new house. Initially, it was nice and high-quality, but after a little over a year, the lid began malfunctioning. In April 2024, I contacted the company to report the issue. After going through multiple troubleshooting steps, I was advised that I needed to buy a replacement lid, as I was unable to provide the original receipt at that time. I found this frustrating because I had used the bin for over a year and didn’t think it was reasonable to need the invoice for such an expensive product.
Nevertheless, I agreed and purchased a new lid in April 2024. Fast forward to October 2025, I started experiencing the same problems again. I reached out once more, only to be told that the product was now out of warranty because it had been over a year since purchase. I was also asked to provide the original Costco invoice, which didn’t make sense, as the product I was having issues with was the replacement lid purchased directly from EKO. I was ultimately told there was nothing they could do unless I bought another lid—meaning I would have had to purchase three lids in less than four years.
This has been extremely disappointing, as one would expect a product of this price to offer better durability and value. Due to this ongoing issue, I am returning to pedal bins, which have given me far fewer problems and are more cost-effective. I am very disappointed with EKO’s quality and customer service in this instance.
Eko horizon bin!
I’ve been buying bins from Eko for years, and their customer service is outstanding. Even when I needed a replacement they responded very quickly and sent the product right away in perfect condition. Always a great experience with them!
My eko sensor bin had stopped working
My eko sensor bin had stopped working , I contacted eko customer services who were very helpful , identifying the model and telling me which replacement lid I needed . The lid was not yet in stock but they gave me an approximate delivery date for it . Nearer to that date I was kept informed and again advised when the item would be posted out to me , I was then kept up to date on the delivery time .After I received the item I then had a follow up message asking if everything was satisfactory.
I really am grateful to Eko and Karen and Lara in customer services for their excellent communication and help in this matter . It’s a shame that other companies do not provide such excellent service .
