Brilliant company to deal with. Order of QUARTZ worktops measured and made and fitted within 1 week, delivery was really quick. Highly competitive price and the communication was excellent, the fitters were also great 👍 would recommend highly .

In April 2024 I asked Elite Stone Worktops (Daniel Burnet) to fabricate and install marble for my kitchen, paying a £6,600 deposit by bank transfer (credit card not accepted).

The process was marked by poor communication, missed appointments, and long delays. Despite numerous attempts to reach Daniel — including calls, messages, and even a recorded letter — I often received no response for months at a time. At one stage, I sought legal advice and came close to paying £450 for a county court hearing simply to recover my deposit, as I feared the company might liquidate without completing the job.

When work finally resumed, Daniel outsourced the installation to a subcontractor who was difficult to deal with, complained about pay, and demanded an extra £1,000 not agreed upon in advance. Although the marble was ultimately fitted in December 2024, the original agreed design — a one-piece arched-style cladded splashback — was compromised, and delivered instead as multiple joined sections.

After I posted an honest review describing these issues, Daniel contacted me and promised to reimburse the £1,000, supply the withheld off-cut slab, and provide a lighting remote if I removed the review. I agreed in good faith and took it down. The remote was later provided, but the reimbursement and off-cut were never delivered. Although he later said he would provide the items, and there were a few further text exchanges, nothing was ever delivered. When I followed up politely, Daniel became verbally aggressive and intimidating over the phone. My final follow-up message on 27 October, offering to collect the off-cut, went unanswered. I therefore consider the matter closed.

While the finished marble looks attractive, the overall experience was extremely stressful and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Elite Stone Worktops.

I asked for a quote from Elite Stone Worktops after seeing the installation they had done for my daughter.
Daniel came before our installation began and talked through options, including the pattern of quartz, and provided a rough estimate of cost, which was very competitive.
When the installation was nearing completion Daniel came back, measured up, confirmed our preferred pattern and gave us a firm quote that we were happy to accept.
The installation was booked and fitted in with the kitchen installers schedule. The team arrived on time and completed the installation in a bit over two hours.
I was impressed with their attention to detail and the time they spent getting things just right. This included some minor adjustments to the slabs. The installation was then cleaned up and the work area left tidy.

Elite Stone Worktops recently installed beautiful quartz worktops in my new kitchen, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The team was professional, clean, and did an outstanding job from start to finish. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were top-notch, and they really brought the space to life.

One tip for anyone considering a breakfast bar – make sure to have the brackets or support legs ready before installation. The team was more than happy to help once I had them, but it’s something worth preparing in advance.

Daniel and his team have been amazing. In 2023 they did my kitchen worktop, table and island in Patagonia stone just so exquisite.
I accidentally chipped the worktop and he return to repair it free of charge and within a week. It look like it was never damaged. Thanks you Daniel.

I got Daniel’s details from a Facebook recommendation, so I was a bit nervous, but I honestly can’t recommend him highly enough. The quartz looks so good, the joins are nearly invisible and he’s really nice to deal with. His price was also a fraction of what Howden’s wanted to charge me!

Dan and elite stone are second to none. Template and worktops fitted in 7 days. Nothing was too much trouble, polite and courteous. Left the place clean and tidy. Happy to recommend.

First and foremost Dan is a great guy. No nonsense. Gets the job done when he says he will. There are so many traders out there who do not have the clients interest at heart. I can honestly say that is not the case with Dan. He gave me a honest quote. Explained what needed to be done. Stayed in contact and communicated throughout the process and delivered on the day he said he would. Which in my case was the same day. If you need someone to help you out with kitchen worktops then dans definitely the man. Not many honest and reliable trademen around these days that you're not having to chase after. He picked up my quartz worktop in southall and delivered it for me to north london in wood green. I believe Dan covers all of London and the surrounding areas and counties , Middlesex, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Essex, surrey and kent.

Fast, reliable, cost effective and service was very professional, stone and workmanship was exactly what quoted for, was surprised to see the assistance they gave other trades, who carried out remaining works whilst on site, would highly recommend that you give them a try.

Elite Stone Worktops were recommended to us (by kitchen fitters no less) and were exceptional from start to finish in fitting our Taj Mahal quartzite kitchen worktops.

Dan and his team are extremely knowledgeable, professional, responsive and a delight to work with (answering my many many questions!) - it is clear that they take real pride in their work, unlike many of the other contractors we unfortunately encountered in the rest of our building project.

The job was done quickly and was competitively priced - this is in part thanks to their fantastic templating (meaning we could get full splashbacks, countertops+island all from one slab - most other providers insisted this would mean ordering two slab instead of one, almost doubling the price). Very happy on all fronts. Many thanks again - the kitchen looks fantastic!
