I recently sold my business and needed a full service provider to offer advice, a high degree of business acumen, a friendly and dedicated service plus of course hand-holding!! David at EMF was recommended by a friend who had previously sold her business and found him to be excellent. I needed the perfect provider and found David to go above and beyond - in fact I would say David was a ‘business partner’ in the sale.

Kathie was amazing !
She knew more than landlords snd solicitors, who in my opionon, just want too fleece you for all they can.
EMF Ottery St Mary went above and beyond, in what was a very protracted and difficult sale. They didn't ask for more
Fees, as other agents would.
They where professional throughout, even when things looked like they were going downhill.
If you are selling a business, these are the people to bring a sale too fruition.
There are so many con artists out there pretending to be business transfer agents, who want you too sign on the dotted line, then you will pay regardless of wether you sell or not.
These guys do what they do, honestly, professionally and reliability, but most importantly at the agreed price !

I've had a few experiences with EMF…
I've had a few experiences with EMF both Amanda and Kathie in Ottery most recently with regards to my new shop. Kathie made the process of negotiating the lease straightforward. Was there every step along the way and went beyond to ensure it went smoothly for both me and her client all in the run up to Christmas. She also followed up to see how I was settling in, in the new shop. I'm truly greatful for all the support

Do not trust this firm
Do not trust this firm. I made an offer to one of the Mc Coll’s property based in Milton Keynes but my offer they never sent to the seller. Even though I gave them asking price, EMF made the decision internally without informing the seller. Be careful with this firm, I have made a complaint to the property ombudsman

We understand how disappointed you are with the outcome of your interest in the retail outlet. However, the business listing went live a week before your made contact with EMF and received a high level of interest from the first day of being advertised. There were a number of seriously interested parties, offers were passed to the seller and unfortunately our client has chosen to go forward with another party.

Amanda, Samantha and the team were so professional from start to finish. They know when to guide you on decision making and easily take the reins when needs be. Well, where do I start? I had a particularly long and bumpy ride with trying to sell my business and I have to say that if it had not been for David Wilson, it would have been far harder. EM&F have been with me from the beginning, and I'm glad to say that they're not your typical agents who are just after a quick sale. They're communication has been exemplary and my particular agent, David Wilson, has been both professional and personal in all the good ways that are above what is expected. I thank both EM&F and David whole heartedly for their service and highly recommended them.
