My instructor has been really patient and friendly and made what I thought was going to be an extremely difficult task feel super manageable.
Ellisons themselves took a lot of the weight off of aspects like finding a test date and helping me revise for the theory test. It was nice to be able to look back at summary’s of previous lessons to think about how to improve. I’ve never been particularly good with motor skills but all the encouragement and extra encouragement and advice helped me overcome that when driving completely.
Overall I can’t recommend them enough, thank you Ellisons and Steve, it was a pleasure to learn under you.

I had Steve as my driving instructor and he was the best instructor I could've asked for! Very patient and reassuring throughout, especially as I was very nervous when I was first starting my lessons. He quickly helped me to gain confidence through careful teaching and always took the time to answer my many questions. This resulted in me passing my test first time so I would definitely recommend Ellison's as a driving school.

I had the absolute privilege of having woody as my driving instructor, after having a very bad experience with driving instructors, woody helped me gain confidence and helped me pass first time!!! He is patient and kind but also pushed me to be the best I can be!
I am beyond happy to with my journey and I am forever grateful for woody!

I really don’t know where to start from😂
But , yea it was an outstanding , experience with Dan Limond at Ellison’s motoring school!
From the first lesson I had with him I knew I was in safe hands and I could thrive in short amount of time with him.
He an exceptional instructor- he’s patient, knowledgeable and supportive.
There are day I come into the car, crying due to stress from work, home and other anxieties. He was there to support me.
He wasn’t just an instructor he’s was more like a friend. For those that see their instructor as someone who just wants their money. Try to see them as people who are there to train you and support you.
Every instructor can’t be the same, but Dan was exceptional.
He tailored each lesson to my needs. He helped me build confidence behind the wheel. Especially roundabouts 😆😆
The lesson was informative, engaging, and most times fun.🤩
I passed my test in first attempt with him with zero faults! 🎉🥳

They are a very trustworthy and reliable company. My instructor Gary Rossiter who operates trough Elisons was not only able to help me pass my driving test, but also increase my confidence on the road. I would highly recommend doing lessons with Ellisons as it was easy to register with them and shortly after start lessons.

Such a good driving school to go with, woody was such a lovely person to have as a driving instructor.

Just needed a few lessons to brush up for my test. Andy was thankfully available on short notice and helped me get test ready in no time. Would recommend them

I honestly thought I would never drive after reaching 37 years old, but when I needed to recently for work, I thought it was time to finally try. I was nervous, but Ellisons made it really easy. I had Wayne as my instructor and he has been fantastic. I have honestly learnt so much and he has been patient and kind throughout. He taught me so well that I passed today on my first try! I honestly couldn't recommend him enough.

I had Woody as my instructor, and I have never had or met such a wonderful teacher. It took me a lot longer than others to get test ready, but Woody was incredibly patient and kind with me. His ways of teaching regarding metaphors was also very very helpful. I could not recommend anyone more. Thank you so much ☺️

First time passed!
I had a very good experience in learning how to drive under the supervision of John. As a first time learner/driver with no prior experience, John stood as very good and patient teacher in making sure that I am not only safe to drive but also thought about being precise and being accurate with my maneuvers. I struggled at first on how to gauge or read other drivers attitude on the road but he taught me to think on my own and not following what other drivers were doing ahead of me. We have been too many roundabouts, dual carriageways and hot spot junctions and had to repeat over and over again to make sure that I get it right. All the lessons and difficult situations we have encountered during my lessons with John all pays well. I recommend John to anyone planning to learn how to drive automatic car. The best part is you will be able to drive a Mercedes GLA all electric 😄 Thank you John!

I’ve been learning with Wayne from day one, and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. He’s not only great at teaching but also just a genuinely kind and down-to-earth person.

He always encouraged me to be more confident behind the wheel, but never pushed me beyond what I was ready for. His approach was calm, patient, and supportive, which made a huge difference, especially in the early days when everything felt overwhelming.
