Delivery service was great with text to let me know it was on its way and a call from the driver when the postcode led him astray! Pleasant, polite and fast service.

Incorrect order cancelled and refunded efficiently.
I ordered and paid for (via PayPal) a plywood sheet, but then realised that I had used this company in Leigh-On-Sea, instead of a similar company near my home in Witham. I explained my error to Essex Timber & Plywood, who cancelled the order and refunded my payment. This was done very efficiently.

thanks for the excellent review tony
Friendly enough but.
Friendly enough, I bought some flooring which was badly damaged and not fit for use. It had fork lift damage and had obviously been left out in the rain. I called to get the boards changed ( it was only 3 boards, about £70 worth) they asked me to send receipts which I did, didn’t hear from them again, tried calling but guy said I had wrong number lol. I’m not even that bothered really it’s only £70 just thought it was worth letting people know.

hi dave are you sure you have the correct company we would never ask for reciepts as we have all sales on our system history, also 3 sheets of flooring would not come any where near £70.00, we are essex timber & plywood in southend on sea , did you maybe buy from essex timber yard up near braintree, also if the boards were delivered damaged we would automatically offer to replace or refund without question, im wondering if you actually rang us by mistake which is why you were told you had the wrong number, could you please double check and let us know as this is the first bad review we have had. many thanks in advance.
