They trick customers into thinking that they are the official ETA site and then charge an exorbitant price for your service, without you noticing it. They change the amount from GBP to USD. So paid 460 USD for two ETAs.
At least the ETAs are valid according to them.

Dit zijn scammers! Ik reken 2 etas af voor Schotland. Er staat eerst 20 pond per stuk en ineens tijdens de aanvraag komt er nog 200 pond extra bij. Annuleren of de aanvraag cancelen kan niet meer want de knop op de website doet het niet. Ookal ben je nog niet door het hele proces gegaan. Uiteindelijk is er ruim 460 is dollars ineens afgeschreven van de creditcard van een eta bedrijf in Las Vegas. Dan mail je dat dit niet klopt. Vind je de extra fee prijzen online waar staat dat all inclusive een eta per stuk 149 pond is. Maar dan kom je dus ook niet aan die 460 us dollars dus dit klopt aan geen kanten. Als je ze dan mailt dat op hun website zelf de fee van 149 pond staat dat zeggen ze ineens dat dit niet hun website is terwijl die letterlijk in de email handtekening van het bedrijf staat waar je mee heen en weer mailt. Ze zijn razendsnel met terug mailen tot ik om bewijs vroeg en duidelijke terms and conditions, nu reageren ze niet meer en word ik geghost.

De ETA aanvraag was spoedig, maar het bedrag dat vervolgens van mijn rekening was geschreven lag 200 dollar boven het geadverteerde bedrag. Niet doen!

Evisaregistry.com charged 7 times the price showing on their screen the charge was £20, they charged by accocunt with US$195!!! It was not shown on the payment page. This is well camouflaged to appear as the official site to obtain ETA to travel to the UK. As a European citizen, the cost is £20 and done without hazzle online. I know, I should have been more thorough checking the page, which I was, but it's becoming more and more difficult to identy scammers. I got the ETA and, through insistence, I eventually received an invoice today. states visa cost and $166 service charge!!! Writting this review to help people avoid making the mistake I made. How are we going to avoid the scammers?

Be aware of the additional service fees

I used this website to apply for four UK ETAs and believed I was using the official UK ETA service. I was charged £125 per applicant, £500 in total. The official UK government fee at the time was only £20 per applicant.

My confirmation described the £125 simply as “ETA Fees” and did not itemise the government fee and the additional commercial service charge.

After discovering the difference, I contacted customer service. They initially offered a 50% refund. After I questioned the charges and asked for evidence of the exact checkout page shown for my order, the offer was increased to 65%. I declined and proposed an 80% refund (£400), which they accepted and processed immediately.

So I do appreciate that customer service responded quickly and ultimately resolved most of the financial issue. However, I would strongly advise other travellers to check carefully whether they are using the official UK Government ETA service and to check the total price before

Too bad there’s no 0 starts. Be aware! They mislead you it is an official website when it is third party service. On the initial screen they show the government fee of £20 and nowhere they state there is an additional fee. When you arrive at the payment screen, apparently (as per their screenshot they provided to me as I haven’t seen it at the time of payment), you are actually paying £125!!! Who charges 5 times the official fee for automatically transferring the information you completed yourself to the official website! Obviously some very smart but shameless fraudsters. Save your money and search for the official UK government website before starting your application! Don’t trust the Trustpilot rating on their website as obviously they have a fraudulent reviews as well. Check the rating above to see the real rating.

It is a scam. Do NOT use this site!

This is a scam website. It was the first that appeared when searching for ETA, UK. The prices for the ETA were identical, however while confirming the card details, I realised that the price had been converted to US dollars, and all of a sudden it seemed a lot more expensive - there was a 'service charge of roughly 200 euro', of which you are not advised. Even though I cancelled the confirmation of payment, it took my money anyways. I wrote to them immediately, and have been waiting for a refund for over 10 days.
