One star is one too many
One star is one too many. A scam of a company from start to finish - no production of a contract despite requests to see what it was we had "actually agreed to". Upon filing for a claim, they agreed to pay £700 as part of the repairs to our vehicle, which was in November 2025. We were originally told 30 working days to receive payment. That passed and we chased it up. Then we were told there were delays, followed by more delays, then they started ignoring our contract. I raised a formal complaint and they said they wouldn't speak to me, only my husband (despite us both being on the file). When answering my husband (after months of delays and being ignored), we were told it would be another 30 working days. Low and behold they have now filed as bankrupt, gone under another company name and are doing this to many unfortunate customers. To make matters worse, NCV Garage in Newark was the one who recommended them.
Company is under a new name…
Company is under a new name Clearcoverwarranties.com2 still waiting for payment for £800 from 2025 they do not get back you via email and phone lines are dead!!

Winding up of the company fed 2026 hearing date 22 April 2026 at 10.30
fake company
I haven't received a call or message as to why my invoice isn't being paid. I feel it's money by deception. They have no intention of paying.a
Scam "company"
Had a claim in November last year where it took me finding 3 different places so they would be happy with it, then after agreeing to pay for the claim they said that they would not cover all of the labor cost after saying to go with them. After this was done they refused to send me the money and it took 30 working days, this was ealry November 2025 it had been over that time and now they refuse to respond to my emails, i am 99% sure this is a scam company or something like that as i can't be asked to leave reviews normally but this "company" has scamed me out of 2 months rent after saying they would pay it and now just refusing it
No star review!!
No star review!!! Avoid avoid !!!
Can’t even get through on the phone ! Not replying to emails ! Head gasket gone on car and thinking we were covered wasn’t worried but
CANNOT get a Response !!! 😡
A poor Customer
I purchased a car from F&G Cars, and at the time of purchase, they strongly recommended that I take out a one-year warranty with this company.
Unfortunately, although my claim was approved five months ago, the company has now gone into administration, and I have not received any payment. As a result, I have suffered a financial loss twice — firstly by paying for a warranty that has proven to be ineffective, and secondly by covering the cost of parts and labour myself without reimbursement.
I am extremely disappointed with this situation. It raises serious concerns about how such companies are able to operate in the UK and take customers’ money without delivering the promised service or facing immediate consequences.
I would appreciate any guidance on how this matter can be addressed.
What warranty
Emails don't exist, phone number suspended. No way to contact them over none payment of claim. Terrible company warranty appears worthless
I have been waiting nine months for payment now I have been blocked from the system
I have been waiting nine months for a payment of £413.52 that is owed to me. Each time I try to contact the company, the automated system says that my contact has been suspended due to non-payment. This makes no sense, as I do not owe them any money they owe me money.
I purchased the car with the warranty included, so I am extremely disappointed by the way this has been handled. After such a long delay and now being unable to contact them, it feels like I may never receive the money I am owed
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid this company, as the service has been unacceptable and feels highly misleading.
I wouldn't bother using these
I wouldn't bother using these. Like any other dodgy warranty company, they will find any way they can to avoid a payout. They refuse to pay out because I've had the repair done quickly, legitimately and conveniently for me to get my car up and running ASAP and to avoid any further damage to the vehicle by leaving the problem for longer. If I'd left the problem longer then they'd say I should have got it sorted sooner rather than later. I chose sooner but now they won't pay out because it was unauthorised. Unscrupulous terms and conditions here, there and everywhere. Avoid them at all costs.
The price I paid to get the repair done was fair and with a vat registered garage but this still isn't good enough for them. You can't win with them.
Tried contacting them about a warranty…
Tried contacting them about a warranty claim for over a week with no success
Phone support is ineffective — waited hours on hold without getting through
Emails are ignored despite promises of a 24-hour response time
Seen similar complaints from other customers raising serious concerns
Reports and discussions about possible financial issues/insolvency
Noticed the company changed its name recently, which raises red flags
Would strongly advise others to avoid using this company
⭐ 1-Star Review – Extremely Disappointed and Shocked by the Service
I purchased a car on 19 April 2025 through Central Car Sales Leeds, and the warranty was arranged through Evolution Warranty. Until today, I had never needed to use the warranty. Unfortunately, during my recent MOT, several serious issues were identified — including ABS faults, a tyre issue, and other problems noted by the MOT specialist. I was advised not to drive the vehicle due to safety concerns.
Naturally, I contacted both Central Car Sales and Evolution Warranty.
Central Car Sales did not answer my calls at all. Evolution Warranty’s recovery team spoke to me on Saturday and told me to call another number on Monday.
When I called today, I was shocked to hear a message saying my account is closed due to non‑payment. This makes absolutely no sense, as my warranty is fully valid until 19 April 2026, and I have never missed a payment nor received any notification of an issue.
To make matters worse, I cannot reach anyone — not from my registered mobile number, not even from a different number. Every attempt leads to the same message: account closed. I am now left with a car deemed unsafe to drive, a warranty I paid for but cannot access, and zero support from either the dealer or the warranty provider.
This experience has been incredibly stressful and deeply disappointing.
I strongly urge anyone considering buying a car or warranty through these companies to be extremely cautious. My situation should never happen to anyone who has paid for a valid warranty and expects basic customer service.
Evolution Warranties did change their name to Clear Cover Warranties …
Evolution Warranties did, indeed, change their name to Clear Cover Warranties in March this year. This does not prevent anyone from pursuing payment from the newly named company, so long as they have the same company number as the old company. Companies House confirms the company number for both as 14708698. Good luck to all those owed money.
Had a poor experience with Evolution …
Had a poor experience with Evolution some time ago so for all of those with current problems The Gazette have today posted the hearing date of the winding up petition as 22nd April 10.30am. Good luck to all affected
Company closed down. Crooks
Bought other companies, drained them if all their assets the closed it all down and ran off with everyone's money. Absolute crooks. How people can still get away with this is mind boggling. They should be jailed.
Avoid this insurer
Avoid this insurer. Couldn’t get payment for a 12 months which is still overdue. Staff shortage, unforeseen circumstances and many more excuses. Now they rebranded to clearwarranties.com
Be careful another clone of scam company
Evoloution Warranties applied for receivership
Evoloution Warranties are in receivership and have been in difficulty for some months but have continued to lead customers on by accepting new claims.
I was told to forward my invoice for authorised repairs to Evolution World Group who are still trading, to be told the administrators of my warranty “evolution warranties” are In receivership.
People are still waiting for reply’s to emails and for payments from November last year but my claim was authorised only a few weeks ago and I had the work carried out and paid for it myself while waiting for the payment to come through
I am now £1500 out of pocket and little hope of getting anything back.
I contacted the Ombudsman service who said Evolution Warranties has not gone into receivership but are heading that way but as they are not registered with the FCA they would not be able to help
Evolution World Group are just sending out pre generated replies to emails and despite invoices being sent to them are not accepting any responsibility 🤦♀️
AVOID AVOID AVOID
Wouldn't go anywhere near these clowns, complete and utter scam artists!
Had work carried out on my car in December, provided all the required documentation and still have not received payment, nor any update despite a plethora of emails and calls.
Update:
After speaking with trading standards I will now being pursuing a full refund for the amount of the warranty due to breach of contract
