CUIDADO SI COMPRAIS EN WEB DE OMSYSTEM

Cuidado si comprais en la página de OMSYSTEM.
Atención al cliente, pèsima .
El día 8 de junio compré una mochila everyday aprovechando una oferta de la página OMSYSTEM. Después de muchos correos a atención al cliente, a la tienda online, etc no recibo ninguna respuesta del porqué no me entregan el pedido. Sólo responden cuando entro una disputa en PAYPAL y me indican que tienen un problema de stock. Quito la disputa y espero dos semanas que es lo que me indican que tardaran en enviar el pedido. Pasan estas semanas y vuelvo a enviar correos y no contesta nadie. Más de un mes para que me entreguen este pedido y nadie dice nada. Impresentables totales. No puedo ni anular el pedido y que me devuelvan el dinero.
Gracias a un contacto que ha forzado la respuesta, me han contestado y me indican que recibiré el pedido en dos días. Cruzo los dedos y espero que sea así.

Mangelhaft

Mangelhaft. Versand erfolgte in zwei Päckchen. Nur ein Päckchen kam an. Supportanfrage blieb bislang auch nach mehreren Tagen unbeantwortet. Ich werde das Geld wohl über Paypal zurückfordern müssen.

OM sends misleading direct sale emails resulting in unintended sales, providing no return method and unacceptably poor (nonexistent) customer service.

I received an email from OM announcing the release of the OM-5 mark II. I entered the Olympus universe in 2014, purchasing an OMD-EM5 for myself and an EM10 for my wife. Since then I have invested in lenses and gear, a few more iterations of the EM5, and an OMD-EM1X. I had considered the OM-5 as a lighter camera and liked the minor upgrades offered with the Mark II, so I clicked the link promising a pre-order of "OM-5 Mark II from $899". When OM's website opened there was an additional offer of something along the lines of an extended 2 year warranty, then a banner with a button promising "OM-5 Mark II from $899 - Preorder Now". That link took me to what I thought was the OM-5 MII kit with a lens I did not need, for $1,199.99. As that was not the price I had been offered, I scrolled up until I found the price promised - $899.99. I clicked on that and paid for the camera only to discover after the receipt was emailed to me, that the camera I had purchased was the OM-5, not the new model. I tried to cancel the order online, it was impossible. I submitted requests to the OM website 4x over the next week, never getting a response besides my ticket number and a promise to contact me. I was disgusted to receive the package one week later, and when I tried to return it online discovered that the website simply will not allow it. I called Customer Service several times trying to clear up the issue. They admitted that the website was very badly broken, claimed they had informed the appropriate team, and promised to send me return shipping labels. I asked them about the error with the price but the response was not audible. They then hung up on me, causing me to call back again. They promised they would email everything to me for the return. The next day I got an email with a return authorization telling me where to ship the unopened camera box. I'm flabbergasted that OM expects me to pay to ship a camera back to them that I was literally tricked into purchasing by an extremely misleading direct email campaign, after trying for days to just get the order cancelled. It's clear that they are not interested in customer service beyond making a sale and this makes me very worried for the future of a camera platform I really liked. Now I am trying to negotiate with OM to make things right with me and am getting ghosted, of course. I am deeply disappointed with OM. They cannot maintain Olympus' reputation by treating customers, photographers who rely on these devices every day, like they are disposable. They have fixed the error leading customers to pre-order the new model at $899 so that it takes you to the MII, priced at $1,199.99 which is an admission that they made a mistake, but they will not admit it or stand by the lower price, or even respond at this point. I have screenshots so I can prove what I experienced and I'm furious with OM. Is their website so poorly constructed as to be useless, or did the company intend to deceive its customers purposefully? How they choose to respond will determine whether I stay with the Olympus/OM brand or ditch it forever, and so far it is not looking promising.

Non-existant Custoer Service Team

Have an ongoing issue with OM. Sent a camera for repair and it was reported that it was beyond repair. That's fine, I can accept that. That was about a month ago.

Since then, despite numerous efforts I have not been able to connect with customer support to clarify if my repair fee of £165 will be refunded (my understanding in the repair small print is that is should be).

OM kindly offered a 30% discount on buying a replacment. However, they sent a broken link, so it's impossible to take advantage of the offer.

My review is chiefly addressing the total lack of customer support, about a month into this debacle now.

So disappointed.

La empresa no responde bien

Estafa. He realizado un pedido en la tienda online y por supuesto pagado.
No he recibido el pedido y tampoco nadie contesta mis solicitudes de ayuda o quejas.
Omsystem no funciona adecuadamente. No quiero pensar en las garantías.
La verdad un horror y una estafa.
al final se ha solucionado, pero no compensa la experiencia.

Problematisch!

Die Retourenabwicklung scheint sehr problematisch zu sein. Anders als auf der Website beschrieben, kann das nicht schnell und unkompliziert geregelt werden. Ich warte seit einer Woche auf ein Retourenlabel für eine bzw. zwei Bestellungen. Auf mehrfache Mails kommt keine Reaktion. Ich werde mir rechtliche Schritte vorbehalten. Das war definitiv ein Reinfall. Nach heutigem Stand kann ich den Shop wirklich nicht empfehlen - leider!

Zwischenstand 13. Juni 2025:
Der Kundenservice lässt sich wahnsinnig viel Zeit mit der Beantwortung. Auch hier musste ich erst eine Frist setzen und weitere Konsequenzen androhen.
Was ich persönlich außerdem etwas schwierig finde, ist die Tatsache, dass die Kommunikation nahezu ausschließlich auf Englisch erfolgt. Darauf wird in den E-Mails des Kundenservices verwiesen und es wird Kunden empfohlen einen Übersetzer zu nutzen.
Wer der englischen Sprache nicht so mächtig ist, steht bei komplizierten Sachverhalten vor einem Problem.

Bei der einen Bestellung hatte ich einen sehr bemühten Mitarbeiter, der dann schlussendlich auch ein Retourenlabel zur Verfügung stellen konnte. Anschließend war wieder nichts zu hören.
Nachdem bei Paypal ein Konflikt gemeldet wurde und der Fall eskaliert wurde, kam nun endlich die Rückerstattung.

Bei der zweiten Bestellung dauerte alles noch länger. Da die Zahlung hier über Klarna abgewickelt wurde, wurde auch dort ein Antrag auf Käuferschutz gestellt. Erst nachdem auch hier mit rechtlichen Konsequenzen gedroht habe, kam dann mal eine Antwort vom Kundenservice. Man hat mich mit der Aussage vertröstet, dass schnellstmöglich ein Retourenlabel erstellt wird. Danach war natürlich wieder tagelang nichts zu hören. Auf die erste Erinnerungsmail kam auch wieder keine Reaktion. In einer zweiten Mail habe ich dann eine Frist von 48h gesetzt und mitgeteilt, dass das Ganze bei Nichteinhaltung an meinen Anwalt übergeben wird. Scheinbar hat das den Prozess wie von Zauberhand beschleunigt, nach zwei Stunden habe ich ein Retourenlabel bekommen. Bleibt abzuwarten, wie es sich mit der Rückerstattung verhält.

Ich bin nach wie vor der Meinung, dass der Shop nicht empfehlenswert ist. Wirklich schade bei einem Unternehmen dieser Größenordnung. Zumal die Produkte in Ordnung sind.

Cannot exercise my legal right to return my product within 14 days, as stated on the website.

The camera took 9 days to arrive, despite saying that it would take 3-5 business days. During that time, I decided that I no longer wanted it, but it had already dispatched at that point so I couldn't cancel. It arrived today, so I went to the website to initiate a return and I simply cannot. If I go to 'My Returns', it simply says 'You have placed no returns' with no button to start the process. If I go to my orders, I see a return button, but upon clicking it I get sent to a page that details 'Recent Orders' with the name of the camera under it along with a checkbox. There is no actual way to initiate the return, just an oddly placed 'Add to cart' button (why would someone go to the return page to add something to their cart?)
I have contacted them through email, and the automated bot said that it could take up to 3 days to reply. I am now worried that they are trying to delay until I can no longer return the product as it will have been longer than 14 days. If this happens, I will contact my bank and file a chargeback claim. I will try to remember to keep this post updated.

Ich kann nichts positives über OM…

Ich kann nichts positives über OM System berichten.
Die Geräte sind sehr gut, keine Frage.
Jedoch ist der Support mehr als unterirdisch.
Ich „renne“ seit Wochen einer Erstattung im Wert von über 1000€ hinterher, sowie der Gewährung einer 5-Jahre-Garantie, welche ich nachweislich bezahlt habe.
Meine Entscheidung: Dieses Unternehmen verdient keinen weiteren Cent mehr an mir.

SAV et produits au top.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi autant d'avis négatif sur OM-System. Je n'ai jamais eu de problème sur un retour en SAV qui est au Portugal. J'ai déjà envoyé deux appareils photos pour réparation, le dernier que j'ai envoyé avait plus de 4 ans (Olympus E-M1 Mark ii) qui ne fonctionnait plus. N'ayant plus les pièces pour réparer, j'ai reçu un appareil plus récent, tout neuf en échange. Je recommande la marque OM-SYSTEM qui a des appareils photos de qualités et un service SAV au top.

Bad service from OM Systems

I have had a recent bad experience with OM System customer support. I wanted to buy a camera under their promotions, but after I had placed the order I found out that the delivery time was too long. So they offered me a different promotion for the newer model at a higher price. So I cancelled the original order and ordered the newer one instead. They sent me the lens but no camera….9 days later they advised that there was no delivery forecast. The “newer model” was in fact the older one, without the promotion….! They then said that I could order the real newer model at the same price but without the promotional discount. They refused to honour the previous offer so I have now cancelled everything.

Support mangelhaft

Vorab: Dies ist keine Bewertung der Olympus/OM System Kameras und Objektive – mit denen bin ich seit 2006 sehr zufrieden, über mehrere Kamera- und Objektiv-Generationen hinweg.

Mein Anliegen betrifft jedoch die Leistung bzw. Nicht-Leistung des OM System Supports:

Mitte 2024 habe ich eine hochwertige Festbrennweite, das 12 mm f/2-Objektiv, direkt im OM System Shop gekauft. Der Kauf verlief problemlos – der Preis war günstig und die Lieferung schnell. Soweit so gut.

Bei den ersten Tests musste ich jedoch leider feststellen, dass das Objektiv vermutlich dezentriert ist: Die linke obere Ecke ist deutlich unschärfer und weicher als die anderen Ecken, insbesondere bis Blende 5.6. Frustriert habe ich das Objektiv mit einer klaren Fehlerbeschreibung – dass es wahrscheinlich dezentriert ist und die linke obere Ecke eine sichtbare Unschärfe aufweist – zum OM System Support eingeschickt. Das ging nach Portugal.

Was zurückkam, war ernüchternd: Der Autofokus wurde neu justiert. Ich frage mich, wieso? Ich habe ein hochwertiges Objektiv mit einem Listenpreis von 700 € erworben und eine präzise Fehlerbeschreibung abgegeben. Anstatt das Problem zu beheben, bekam ich eine vollkommen unpassende Antwort und das Objektiv war natürlich immer noch dezentriert.

Ich möchte OM System an ihr eigenes Versprechen erinnern: „Wir sind bestrebt, das beste Produkt auf dem Markt zu liefern, was auch bedeutet, dass wir den besten Kundendienst und Support bieten.“ Nach meiner Erfahrung frage ich mich ernsthaft, ob ich über die Selbsteinschätzung von OM System lachen oder weinen soll.

Pratiques commerciales plus que douteuse

l'offre promotion d'été faisant miroiter 1 objectif 45mm f2.8 + 2 batteries offerte pour l'achat d'un OM5 vous cache dans le fin fond des conditions générales que celle-ci n'est acceptée que pour certains partenaires agréés que vous êtes obligé de trouver parmi une liste infinissable.
Aucune information ne saute aux yeux sur l'annonce
En bref, pratiques commerciales à la limite de l'honnêteté, sans aucune considération par leur service commercial.
Un service client vraiment pas en adéquation avec la qualité de leur matériel....Vraiment dommage

Ich habe einen falschen Artikel…

Ich habe einen falschen Artikel bestellt und es ist grausam.
Noch vor Bestellbestätigung habe ich geschrieben, ob man das ändern könne. Unmöglich.
Keine Möglichkeit die Bestellung zu stornieren. Keine Telefonnummer. Support antwortet innerhalb 3-5 Tage sporadisch. Dauert ewig einen Rücksendeschein zu erhalten. Einfach schrecklich!

Warranty worthless

I have a few OM Products, but noticed that there was a dark patch showing on images taken using the 100mm-400mm lens. It doesn't appear on other lenses even at the same magnification. I sent it for warranty repair in the original packing as it was less than a year old. It came back a few weeks later in the wrong packaging with a note that they had cleaned the front of the lens. Needless to say the original problem was still present. It took me 30seconds to identify this, so clearly no one at OM had tested the lens. I wrote back on the only way to contact OM through their website, and complained. I have not even had the courtesy of a reply. The instructions for sending the lens to the Portugal repair centre were also wrong but DHL resolved this, however how can this be the standards of a company selling this type of equipment? As other users have said, you can't contact them, they made no attempt to contact me either whilst the lens was at the repair centre or after. It is noticeable that they haven't responded to any of the other poor reviews left, which probably indicates the type of company they are happy to be. It is a shame because the products themselves are reasonable. I was thinking of buying a second OM camera body, but this experience has put me off. Back to Nikon I think.

Rotten Experience With OM System Website and Support!

The OM System website experience is something of a joke. Especially their Promotions. I get pestered with emails offering me special promotion deals. When I try and take advantage and go through the purchasing process, while I am informed that the promotion discount is applied and I am presented with the appropriate summary, when I get to the card payment, I am informed that I will be charged at the normal price. I then cancel the transaction.

After trying this a few times and on different web browsers, I called my bank who advised me the problem is with OM System's website. I then contacted them three times through their support page and via two different email addresses. As another reviewer has observed there is no contact number to make a call. The promotion has now come to an end and I have still not got a response.

You would have thought that an email regarding a time limited promotion that is coming to an end would be flagged as urgent and addressed accordingly.

This has coloured my view of OM System and has prompted me to rethink continuing with the platform. While I am pretty much invested in the eco system from the Olympus period, nevertheless flogging my equipment and buying in to a more reliable platform begins to look attractive. I am not so sure OM System has the experience and competence to make a success off the Olympus heritage.

Habe einen Akku für meine OM1 bestellt. Und bezahlt.
Eine Bestellbestätigung habe ich erhalten, die Ware nicht. Schriftliche Anfragen wurden auch nach einer Woche noch nicht beantwortet. Mehrmalige Anfragen! Telefonische Kontaktaufnahme mangels Telefonnummer nicht möglich!

OM System online shop is a joke. There are no means to contact them. They charged me the money of the camera lens I purchased but never delivered it. No email, no phone call, no nothing to let me know about this issue. Don't make the mistake to buy any product there. I warn you.

SAV lent et incompétent

Je suis vraiment impressionné par le manque de réactivité, professionnalisme et de respect envers les clients.
Possesseurs d’un appareil Olympus EM 1 Miii, j’ai acheté un PEN E-P7 pour l’offrir à ma sœur. J’ai reçu ma commande très rapidement, mais j’ai décidé de la retourner car le manque d’EVF me semble très invalidant. Depuis que j’ai fait ma demande de retour le 26/04/24 j’ai dû contacter le SAV plusieurs fois et je reçois toujours la même réponse: « nous sommes désolés pour les délais , votre requête est transmise au service compétent… » La dernière correspondance datant du 28/05 stipulait que j’allais être remboursé en une semaine. Nous sommes à plus d’une semaine aujourd’hui et j’attends toujours. Autant je suis fan des produits Olympus (actuellement OM Système), autant je suis déçu par la réactivité et la qualité de la prise en charge du SAV. Je ne m’attendais pas à cela de la part d’une compagnie de telle envergure.
