Months of Delays, Minimal Communication, and Unjustified Partial Refund
I engaged EZincorporate to complete the incorporation and registration of my non-profit organization and paid for expedited processing. The file was opened in November, yet by the end of January there was still no completed registration and no meaningful update on the status of the file.
During this period I made multiple attempts to contact the company by both phone and email, requesting clarification regarding the status of my application. Unfortunately, communication was extremely limited, and I was not provided with clear information about delays, deficiencies, or next steps.
Due to the continued lack of progress, I requested a refund for services that had not been delivered within the promised timeframe. EZincorporate chose to refund only half of the amount paid, citing that work had been performed internally on the file.
However, from a client perspective, internal processing that does not result in the successful completion of the contracted service does not justify withholding the remainder of the payment, particularly when expedited services were purchased and the process remained unresolved for months.
To move forward, I retained another incorporation provider. The difference in service was immediate: within 9 days my organization was fully incorporated and registered as a non-profit.
This experience clearly demonstrates that the delays were not inherent to the incorporation process itself, but rather related to the service and handling of the file.
Given the timeline, lack of communication, and the partial refund provided, I have documented the entire process and the communications surrounding this file. Clients relying on time-sensitive filings should carefully consider the level of responsiveness and accountability they expect from a service provider before proceeding.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential clients to proceed with caution.
