Ordered 31 March (3-5 days delivery) emailed a week later and was told out for delivery on 10th April. No show. Tried ringing but phone gets cut off. Tried chat box on their site but no one answering. I have reported them to FRAUD IN LEEDS, after reading all the reviews and I would suggest others to report this obviously dodgy site.
If I could give them 0 stars I would!
If I could give them 0 stars I would. Sent wrong item, in smaller weights and ignore all attempts to contact them. AVOID this company!

I wish I had read the reviews of this site before I ordered. They did deliver the material and curtain tape I ordered but it was the wrong material. Also, they do not send you tracking information about the delivery, I just got a text which said to expect a package from Yodel, but as others have said the website says they send via Royal Mail so I wasn't sure if it was genuine.
I emailed them about the incorrect fabric and asked for a refund but there was no reply. I tried calling the number on the website but this just rings 6 times and cuts off - there is no answerphone or options to choose so this is clearly not manned. Fortunately I paid with a credit card so I was able to retrieve my money through them. However I strongly recommend you shop elsewhere as they clearly do not accept returns or refunds despite what is written on the website.
Do not fall for it.
**Update - The business has replied twice promising to refund - a week later, still no refund. No surprise, as this mirrors every other review on here. The business has now blocked me from social media pages and continue not to answer the phone. Claim has been escalated to a case with PayPal and will continue to pursue a refund by this route. Do not fall for this business and order!!**

This business is either a very well organised fraudulent operation - or a failing business.
My review follows the trend of every other review here. I ordered on the 13th - had no updates until the 17th when I was told items was out of stock. Requested a refund with no reply for 2 days. I was then advised the order would be cancelled and refund. I now continue to await to see if that is a lie, or will turn out to be true. Reading everyone else's review here I have no faith.
Further investigation shows;
- The directors of this business are involved in 10 other limited registrations. All of which paint a dreadful picture on the financial status of these businesses. In particular Fabric Giant is an operation of "BS ONLINECO LTD" (company number 13821596). The company has no assets, no liabilities and no cash filed in the 4 years it's been registered.
- The website shows it's trading from "33 Great George Street,Leeds,West Yorkshire , LS1 3AJ United kingdom" but this is not their address, they are not here - but the business is registered to BOMBAY STORES BOMBAY BUILDINGS, SHEARBRIDGE ROAD, BRADFORD, WEST YORKSHIRE, BD7 1NX. Then you look deeper and other businesses are registered to a well known virtual address in London which is regularly used for fake/fraudulent businesses.
- The phone number is never answered, I've tried calling over 50 times.
- I've located the directors on social media and made contact directly - you guessed it, no reply.
Don't fall for it - whether it's a failing business, poorly managed business or a fraudulent operation - all cases will result in the same, you will not get your order, you will be promised a refund that will never arrive, you will be left frustrated and disappointed.
I have raised my case with PayPal and will be reporting this business to all relevant trading bodies and regulators.
Oh - and as you will see - they don't bother looking and responding to these reviews.

UPDATE: My credit card company has today refunded my £140.01. Fabric Giant never got back in touch with me emailed or ever answered their phone, leave a message only, nor did they call back.
SCAM
SCAM. Ordered 1st Jan - still no fabric on the 2nd March. No answer when you call. No replies to emails.
No customer service.
Placed an order on 03/01/2026 and they phoned me to say one item was out of stock and more would be coming in. Told them to hold on to the other item so they could be sent together. I have tried calling, emails and using their contact page on the website with no success.

I placed an order for fabric totalling £82.73, having done my due diligence beforehand. The company appeared legitimate — they listed a full business address and a landline telephone number, which gave me reasonable confidence to proceed.
After two weeks, I had received neither a shipping update nor the goods themselves. I contacted the company to raise the issue, and they offered two options: a refund or to dispatch the order. I opted for a full refund.
What I received instead was a refund of just £4.95 — a fraction of the £82.73 I had paid. Since then, every attempt to resolve this has been met with silence. Emails go unanswered, messages are ignored, and the landline now diverts straight to voicemail with no callback.
Let me be clear about the pattern here: a convincing storefront, a delayed order, a partial refund designed to appear as a gesture of goodwill, and then complete radio silence once challenged. This is not a case of poor customer service — it is a calculated operation.
If you are considering purchasing from this company, I would strongly urge you to reconsider. I am now pursuing this through my bank and reporting it to Action Fraud. I encourage anyone who has had a similar experience to do the same.

had an order in October all was ok it took a while to arrive but was ok. This year I ordered 13th January it's now 22 feb and still no fabric. I have messaged several times and no had a response. I have now asked for a refund lets see how long that takes.......
Lack of communication
I’ve had the same problem as several other peoples reviews, bad communication, I was phoned about my order and I agreed to have 2 items on back order, I’ve now tried every method possible, but to no avail, to contact them to ask about the back order. The items I am waiting for are still advertised on their website. The fabric I did receive I was pleased with but unfortunately because of the lack of communication I am very reticent to order again which is such a shame, communication should be number 1 in any business!
Shabby customer treatment
I placed a order on 7 .1 .2026 for of 2 different William Morris fabrics .order number 140544840. Cost £52.95. After 4 weeks I rang to ask where my order was .I was told that they only had 8 meters of one of the fabrics not the 12 meters they had taken payment for ,but they'll be getting more in next week .it's is now all most 7 weeks since I placed the order . I still don't have the fabric and it is no longer for sale in their shop.No one answers the phone or emails .I am on ntlworld.com not Gmail and have told them this . Purchased £150 worth of material on the 5/1/26, most of it arrived £43 worth was on back order, after 4 weeks of waiting I asked for a refund, the refund was pending in PayPal for a full week before it was cancelled. Ive now had to open a PayPal dispute. I think alot of their problems are lack of communication. That and the fact they sell fabric that they havent even received in yet. I can't even tell you how many times I phoned the shop, found a mobile number on instagram and that gets answered more than the shop number. I personally won't ever use these again. Shame because they have some lovely fabrics and great prices but you just can't guarantee you'll get your order or a fight for a refund.

Sent wrong fabric and ignore emails
I ordered aubergine fabric for a specific project. They sent red. I contacted them to try and get a return but they offered a discount if I kept it and ordered the aubergine again. Since then I have not received the aubergine fabric or a refund and now they are ignoring my emails. My event has been and gone and I didn't get the fabric I needed. Id avoid this company at all costs.

I've been waiting 3 weeks for my order and its not arrived :-( Its very disappointing as I needed it to make a gift.
The website says its dispatched, but I did have a call to say that its out of stock - even though it can still be bought online.

For the third time I have had them call me telling me a fabric was out of stock, this time it was after the item was showing as dispatched!!! When I sent them a screen shot showing it said despatched the blamed IT!!
It says 7-10 days on the website and it was at 10 days it went to dispatched which is only then when I think they bother looking at it. No wonder things are always out of stock.
When it came they had sent a 6m length I ordered in a 5m and 1m length which wasn’t any use as I needed 2 x 3m length. They did nothing to try and rectify this. They took ages to refund my out of stock money then made out like they were doing me a favour. And I think only did it after I said I would be going to the credit card company.
Terrible comms and terrible service is not worth the fabrics or the prices.

STAY AWAY!!! They advertise fabric they don’t have … say they will refund you for the bits they don’t have then don’t! Having the hassle of getting the money owed to me via the credit card company now. An unethical company.

3 week wait
Ordered on 02/01. Finally received fabric on 22/01, after all emails and phone messages being ignored for 3 weeks.
Fabric is mostly nice, but arrived scrunched up, in a taped up carrier bag.
The Xmas Star batiks and the FQ batik packs were nicely presented.
The quilt batting is perfect, and a bargain.
For me, receiving and opening up a fabric package, is part of the pleasure of sewing.
I would order the batting and the prepacked bundles again, but only f I wasn't in a hurry for it.
