Upsetting returns experience
I had an extremely unpleasant experience when returning an online item to my local store recently. The person handling the return seemed frustrated that he had to carry out the transaction.
Although I’d purchased the item on PayPal he insisted that my money had to be refunded to a linked credit/debit card. I was surprised as I always use PayPal and this had never happened to me before. Indeed one of the main advantages of using PayPal is for the immediacy it offers. When I said that I was told it was Company policy because some people use PayPal’s three month credit arrangement. When I explained that I didn’t I was totally ignored and the member of staff just ploughed steadfastly on with the transaction. I left the store feeling bullied, frustrated and a complete nuisance.
If FatFace accept PayPal for online orders then surely they should refund to PayPal?

I am so sorry to hear that you had an unfortunate experience in one of our stores.
As stated on our Returns page on the website and on your order invoice, any orders placed using Klarna or PayPal will need to be returned to us via the post. I do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Regarding your experience in store, I will of course ensure your feedback is passed on. I can see that you have since been in contact with my colleague via email and he will investigate this matter further.

Another great experience
Another great experience! Never have any problems with FatFace both in person and online orders! Staff were lovely and the lady who helped me while I collected an online order was so helpful and sweet.

Jane was amazing to me today in helping…
Jane was amazing to me today in helping me find some new jeans.
It may seen a simple thing to buy, but
she went over and above with her kindness and help towards me and nothing was too much trouble. I might add that she also ensured that there was other staff available to serve customers before going to the stockroom, which showed her professionalism and concern.
I haven’t been shopping for a very long time and after visiting four other shops I was beginning to loose heart and feeling down.
Jane was funny, thoughtful and honest and shared her expertise with me.
So I am a very happy customer with new jeans and a lovely blouse and will definitely be back to Fat Face in Winchester.
I went to M&S and bought her some flowers to say thank you.
Jane is a credit to your shop. 😊

Juliet and the staff at the Winchester store were so helpful, kind and friendly. They showed real Christmas spirit and I will definitely be shopping there again.

I had to return an item to the shop and there were some complications. The staff in the shop on both occasions were so helpful and friendly and everything was resolved.

I only wear Fat Face jeans now
I only wear Fat Face jeans now, as they just seem to fit me better than most others. I often buy online, m despite there being a store in town, as you can't always get the size you want in the store...but the staff there are always super-helpful when I need to return something, which I did this time around. I'll hold back that fifth point as they had a sale last week but didn't put their jeans in the sale...

A great FatFace sale
