This is not a scam. The pricing page clearly states that the service costs $0.99 for the first three days, after which you are charged a recurring subscription fee of more than $20. You can cancel your subscription by selecting “Manage Subscription” under the “Send Fax” menu. They use Stripe, which requires them to provide a cancellation option on their website.

I did not receive any notification that I was entering a recurring monthly subscription for services that were only needed one time. There were no emails regarding confirmation or communication from this site regarding the charges. I find this lack of communication less than honest and it appears the service hopes a user doesn’t notice the charges.

Betrug! Angeblich kostenfrei Fax verschicken, dann 0,99 Euro und Tage später werden 19,99 Euro abgebucht.

This Company advertised 0 for initial fax,I was charged . 99 ok no big deal two days later,I was charged 19.95! There isn't any contact information other than an email.
Unable to log out or cancel!!

This website is a scam, you should avoid them at all costs. They say "Pay .99 cents to send this fax right now" but what they don't tell you is that you are signing up for 19.95 a month. They don't present you with a choice to sign up. They don't present you with an option to cancel until after you have already been billed. It's a scam. AVOID.

They do a bait & switch. They say you’re sending a fax for $0.99 and then after a few days charge $19.95 as a subscription. They also never sent me an email confirmation informing me that the fax was sent or that my subscription would be renewed.

100 % scam. Tells you that 1st fax is free, no need for a card, then says "will fax quickly for 99 cents (so it gets y our card) says that's the final step, then in tiny language way at the bottom that they will bill you. All designed to set you up for monthly charges you are not suspecting and claims that the 99 cent charge is just for the fax.. Do not use..

Auf keinen Fall benutzen! Es wird mit einem gratis Fax geworben. Dieses kostet dann jedoch plötzlich doch 0,99€. Am schlimmsten: Einige Tage später werden nochmal 19,99€ abgebucht. Angeblich habe man ein Abonnement abgeschlossen.

Eine Info über Mail oder eine Rechnung erhält man auch nicht.

I was not able to send the fax. It failed! I canceled the subscription but they charged anyways. No return from customer service. I sent several email and nothing. Don't waste your money with it! Stay away from it!

What a sham! It clearly says, "First Fax Free" and "No Card Required", and then in order to complete the sending of the first fax, they tell you to pay ($1.39 apparently with a 90% discount from $13.90) and they won't let you actually send it without entering payment information. Total deception. Illegal marketing.

Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung.

Ich musste kurzfristig bei einem Arzttermin ein Dokument per Fax versenden und bin über Google auf Faxer gestoßen. Auf der Webseite wird groß mit Aussagen wie „Erstes Fax gratis“, „Keine Karte nötig“ und „Senden Sie Ihr erstes Fax gratis“ geworben. Das hat bei mir den Eindruck erweckt, dass ich den Dienst einmalig und kostenlos bzw. für einen sehr geringen Betrag nutzen kann.

Tatsächlich musste ich für den Faxversand 1 € bezahlen. Damit hätte ich grundsätzlich kein Problem gehabt. Das eigentliche Problem war jedoch, dass der Faxversand bei mir nicht funktioniert hat und das Dokument den Empfänger nicht erreicht hat.

Einige Tage später musste ich dann feststellen, dass zusätzlich 19,99 € für ein Abonnement berechnet werden sollen. Mir war beim Abschluss nicht bewusst, dass ich ein monatliches Abonnement eingehe. Nach meiner Wahrnehmung wurde dies nicht ausreichend deutlich dargestellt. Hätte ich gewusst, dass aus einem einmaligen Faxversand ein kostenpflichtiges Abo entsteht, hätte ich den Dienst niemals genutzt.

Das Abonnement habe ich sofort nach Entdeckung gekündigt und den Support kontaktiert. Aktuell warte ich noch auf eine Antwort.

Außerdem ist mir aufgefallen, dass auf der Webseite mit „4,8 Sternen und über 21.400 Trustpilot-Bewertungen“ geworben wird. Als ich das tatsächliche Trustpilot-Profil angesehen habe, konnte ich diese Angaben nicht nachvollziehen. Das hat bei mir zusätzlich Fragen aufgeworfen.

Ebenso konnte ich auf der Webseite kein Impressum finden, obwohl ich gezielt danach gesucht habe.

Ich hoffe, dass der Anbieter mein Anliegen fair löst und die Forderung storniert. Bis dahin kann ich den Dienst aufgrund meiner persönlichen Erfahrung leider nicht empfehlen.

Von wegen „erstes Fax kostenlos“ … Im letzten Schritt landet man direkt in einem Abo.

Abofalle! Angeblich ein Fax kostenlos,Fax kommt nicht beim Empfänger an,99 Cent abgebucht ist ja noch ok,aber kein zahlungsbeleg und dann gleich zwei Tage später 19,99 abgebucht. Keine Reaktion auf Email und kündigen nicht möglich in der App.
Also karte gesperrt und geld zurückgeholt.

I paid £0.99 to send a fax, despite being told the first fax is free, and then was unexpectedly charged £17.99 the following day. I was given no warning that I had subscribed to any sort of membership.

Luckily, my bank stopped the transaction as it was flagged as a scam. I'm not even sure if the fax I paid for has even been sent. It's probably less hassle just going out and somehow finding and buying a fax machine.

Faxer attempted to charge my card $19.95 after I used what appeared to be a low-cost fax service. I did not knowingly agree to a recurring subscription, and the automatic renewal was not made clear enough during checkout. Fortunately, the charge did not go through, but the experience felt very misleading. Anyone using this service should check their subscription status immediately and closely monitor their card.

Be aware that you will likely be defrauded when you select to send a fax for 0.99 Cents. Once you do that, the next thing that happens is that your credit card will be charged a recurring monthly subscription fee of $19.95.

Die bieten ein faxservice an für ein kleinen Preis. Nach 3 Tagen heben die per Lastschrift 19,99€ noch mal ab. Wenn man innerhalb der ersten drei Tage nicht gekündigt hat, fällt man in einem monatliches Abo. Über die mobile Seite von der Homepage kann man nicht das Abo kündigen, nur über einen Browser, PC oder Laptop über faxer.app / de / dashboard
Das ist so eine abzocke und so ein Betrug es gibt noch nicht mal Impressum
