I'm very disappointed with Fetish website. It's either bots or a few humans employed by the site to keep you wasting your money. I used better hookup sites in the past like AFFsexy.com
They are much bigger and they have a larger pool of people so I easily met quite a few fetish-inclined ladies. I should have just gone back to that site once again this time, but I believed and ad and decided to give Fetish a try. Don't repeat my mistake. Fetish is useless regardless your membership. I was dumb enough to purchase VIP membership. Needless to say it was just a waste of money that didn't change anything.

This is a TOTAL scam site! Avoid!!!

This is about the members, over 50% of the women are trying to scam for money. About 25% are sex workers and it seems about 20% are desperate to get in a relationship but don't have the skills to make one work.

The site is SATURATED with fakes.
And if you comment in the forums complaining that you've paid and you don't appreciate Playamedia allowing all the fakes and scammers to fill their site/app their mods will make your remarks disappear.

Oddly discriminatory. Soon as I created an account, I got blocked. No reason given. I suspect it's because I use an email address registered to a domain name that I own. They're assuming that (a) I am a business and (b) that I would use their services to advertise or send spam.

Bear with me, this is a bit technical...

I have three domains. Each has one email address. Each has a website. Two are hobby websites, hosted on a server in the cloud, and the third domain connects to a cheap, low powered mini-computer under the stairs, running a personal Dropbox clone. None of my sites are corporate.

I applied for a fetish.com account using an email address linked to one of my cloud-hosted domains. The account got blocked "by a moderator" before I could use my account. I emailed to ask why, they quickly gave me a standard reply of why I might be blocked, not why I was blocked. None of the reasons they gave applied to me. I have emailed for more information, waiting to see if they reply.

I tried registering an account using an email address linked to my other cloud-hosted domains, it wouldn't let me register, so I concluded it was blocking based on where my emails or website were hosted. In case it was based on where my website is hosted, I tried opening an account with the third domain name, where the website is the afore mentioned Dropbox clone, running from my private residence. (Side note, one of their terms is not to have multiple accounts, but since I got denied an account for no reason, I figured I'd try again to apply for one and if this is technically a breach of their guidelines, sorry NOT SORRY for trying again to register).

Maybe I could have an account with them if I chose to register through a gmail or outlook.com account, but I don't use Microsoft or Google any more for email. I wanted to use my own legitimately purchased email on my own domain, and they've denied me.

My review will be edited based on their future actions.

I have tried reaching out to support about my request to unlock my account. They have blocked my account stating my account is a fake account and they dont allow fakes. However, I had already done the photo verification thing from whenever I signed up two weeks ago. I had the verification checkmark by my profile for awhile.
Also, I think its wrong for me to be signed out of my account without reaching out to me about extra verification first. I am not a fake account or person. I am real!

I had emailed them three times now to work with them to obtain my account back. And have yet to hear back from them. Its been two days now. Support is a joke. Guarantee you someone got mad I didn’t like them and they reported me for false info. I even was willing to re-pay my subscription this week. And willing to send more proof of my identity.

You lost my money, good luck on this wacky app that gets taken down for every little thing you do or even say.

I'll split this into 4 parts. Website User Experience, user support, dating and BDSM

The website is not the worst I've ever seen. It works reasonably well most of the time but a lot of common features on other social sites are behind a pay wall. The chat rooms were quite cliquey in my experience but once you are "in" conversation seemed to flow freely as long as you didn't upset any of the big names

User support: By far the biggest issue with the site. If you are friends with the staff you can get away with breaking rules freely. If you upset the staff you can bet you'll have a flimsy or even nonexistent pretext used to punish or suspend you. Mods often show up long after sn issue has been brought yo thrir attention and will openly denigrate or movk users in public spaces, Mods are very partisan and will allow personal feelings/opinions on members to influence decisions. I know this happens anywhere but in my case myself and a friend got into an argument with a (unknown to us) mod on the legality of BDSM (we are a qualified lawyer and law alumni) the person in question hopped onto a mod account and began threatening to ban us if we difnt stop 'disrespdcting' other members. I had been using the site for a few months with no rule Infractions. Within 2 hours of this issue I was given a timeout and my friend were banned outright. In my case on the pretext id been disrespectful to my own submissive! Despite this never having been an issue previously. My message to the mod tesm to determine why this had happened netted that my submissive (to both my and HER surprise) had complained. This was fabricated and I later found out the mod who had 'stepped in'was the mod account for the person id been disagreeing with. So yes the mods snd people running the site will literally lie, and ignore their own rules to cover thrir abuse of authority. In terms of general usability the site is your typical forum and chatroom affair.

Dating is nothing to write home about and I'd suggest it's more for people who want casual flings but don't take BDSM seriously. Kinky sex more thsn a BDSM dating site. Unfortunately it falls prey to the bane of most dating sites. If you're a woman you will have preferences etc ignored and because it's a BDSM site people seem to think this is somehow more acceptable because "You wouldn't be here if you didn't like this sort of thing" because ignoring boundaries and choices is sexy?

BDSM: As a member of the BDSM community for over 10 years I can only say the misinformation and lack of observation for basic etiquette and protocol is appaling and would get you thrown out of most real world kink clubs or dungeons. My sub repeatedly had her wishes ignored, our dynamic was repeatedly ignored or ridiculed and horny boys would frequently try to undermine me and the relationship my dub and I shared because it was inconvenient to their egos. The proliferation of bad information is literally dangerous and I saw several instances where people with no qualifications or little experience were able to pass themselves as experts because no one knew better. Attempting to direct people to actual resources gets you labelled as a "mood killer" or sees you cast out for questioning the popular crowd.

The only good thing I can say about this site is it lead me to the local community I'm part of and I found my submissive and fiancée through it ....because we bonded over how bad the site was for serious kink!

Awful and dangerous site. After many messages met someone from the site and without giving too much information the police are involved. I warned the site and begged them to be careful of this person as he’s a predator but to no acknowledgement, even of my message.
Another email to them and again no response, I’m absolutely disgusted with the site.

If you notice, the majority of terrible reviews cannot spell simple English words despite it being their native language.

There are objective pros and cons but these reviews come as uninformed slander.

The truth:
The website 1000% details duplicate accounts are not permitted and will be banned. So yes the person who was frustrated he wasn't approved for verification and made a new profile; because that's a duplicate account the literally say multiple times you cannot do. They don't hijack your information because the account gets deleted, they have access to all of that when you sign up. Disabled accounts are not visible to the public and removed from the website.

The claims about "bots" is entirely false. Excited men do not particularly think clearly. There are many foreign entities on the site whom do not speak English as a primary language, and sadly many of them end up being scammers. But they are not bots owned by the website as I have interacted with many of these just in curious juxtaposition, and in fairness at times, quiet desperation.

As well they do not block women for no reason, they have clearly outlined profile rules such as no nudity in your default photo and attempts to do so will get you blocked.

Photo and age verification are not required, however if a user reports you as a potential fake they require verification.

To view obscene images, videos, and lives they require age verification. All of these procedures are insanely safe and sound.

Depending on your locale there is a very good user base but is extremely lacking in many geographic locations.

Canceling your membership is not nearly as difficult as people are pretending. Yes there is no cancel account link, but they provide a support link in the app for an email where you just state your name and cancel. Furthermore you can cancel the membership through Google play very easily. Most of these reviews are not fair whatsoever.

Premium is actually offered for free with activity in the site and profile landmarks you are offered coins which can be exchanged for a month of free vip, and it is easy to accumulate these. Their entire point is to ensure that people aren't just quickly browsing profiles in an attempt to discern scammers as they would be less likely to use the site.

Pros:
Very good and detailed search feature
High response rate (assuming you know how to speak to people and do not let your inhibitions control your dialogue)
Easy to achieve free VIP

Cons:
Very difficult to find matches in many areas especially rural regions of the US.
Very high amount of scammers (its very easy to tell though, frankly if you get scammed here you deserve it)
Support is difficult to get or communicate with due to language barriers.

Profile verification takes 30 minutes to 3 days. They have limited support staff who are active in the community and forums. 3 people to moderates tens of thousands, live video feeds, thousands of forum posts..etc. if instant gratification is your goal then opt out.

This website is a joke now unfortunately which once was one of the best kink networks going in my opinion the best.

I first started using this website about three years ago, in that time I met two long time freinds with benafits that were into the same thing as me. So yes it did used to work.

What changed? Well for me after a year or so I got forced to face verify my self , fair enough keeps the platform genuine no issues with it. Apart from the fact that nobody will actually click approve, even if months past. So I ended up making a new account and face verified the second account voluntarily after sign up. Randomly my account got blocked , made another account that one got blocked etc.

Each time your account gets blocked or face verified neautral state, you the user have no control of the data on your account and essentially it becomes sabotaged and hijacked which is very illegal especially with explicit files.

They won't care if you have a subscription either. They will also block you for constantly uploading xxx nude photos only if they don't like the look of you but females well it's fine!, instead of asking nicely to not upload xxx material publicly, they will guess what just block you I guess because it's easier and they don't want your buisness?

Terrible how they act it's like the rape mentalilty , great website in terms of layout features, popularity. It's not necessarily a porn site despite it being named fetish upload a dick pic publicly and find out!

Worse is I got about ten people using this site alone and I just get shaffted. They must hate straight guys I think that's what it is . I had the same thing happen to a couple account to which was completely unrelated to my solo account

I wish somebody would buy this site and get rid of half the rainbow loving moderators. In the UK they break every single data protection law going when they do this. Joke

You can't actually cancel any membership on line through the site directly, and no one answers any type of communication, you CANCEL it through the germany email you get. Search for the company compay and enter the details on these lines as a login, along with your surname.

I thought it was a site for people looking for the same thing, I know I am stupid before you say it, but when I was speaking to someone on here they wanted money to book something, so I paid it then for some reason it was cancelled so had to pay again plus her train ticket and so on and before I knew it I was 2000 lighter, made a complaint to fetish and her profile is still on there catching other guys

Yest another scam site. This site looked promising as well put together web-site. But alas it uses the usual tactics of fake profiles plus bot replies to user profiles. I'm afraid I have come to conclusion that us guys have got to accept there are few genuine fetish orientated females out there. And they probably have happy relationships with partners.
These sites cater for guys desperately looking for a fetish inclined partner/playmate. They probably know they are taking a risk by paying for membership. Unfortunately there is very little, or no means of challenging these fake sites. A licence to print money.

Site seems pretty dead. Signed up for a month to see if being a VIP account would make any difference. (It doesn't.)

When it came to cancelling my account before it rebilled, the only account management options were to extend membership. The contact form was a 404.

In the end I *was* able to cancel the account, but only by digging around on their website for the right contact info, as all the simple methods to manage and cancel your account are "broken".

Pretty dishonest way to try and keep hold of your customers money. Disappointed.

Lies. Can't message the person you want to because they will be locked behind a "restricted messaging service" designed to get you to pay even more than the membership fee you've already paid. In all likelihood the account you are trying to message is fake. Don't bother with this scam website.

Most of the reviews that are negative here, seem to just complain that they have safeguards other than the one person that’s talking about criminal records about people using the site which they probably have more safeguards that I’ve known anywhere else I’m not saying it’s acceptable not have good customer service. Specially, in this industry. But it seems there safeguards are high. I would like to see more free use and enough users before I trust it enough and enough to commit to the site.
