This is brief because it's early days and have only eaten 2 meals - they were certainly the best I've had of any of the delivery meals I've had over the years and assuming it continues like this - will be ordering again! I didn't give it 5 stars because, I assume that the intention is that the meals are not only sustainable for the planet, but also for the human beings and so I'd like to see ALL natural ingredients + the numbers for fibre in the nutritional list, given how important we now know that this is for our health.

With a new born baby I thought that field goods would be a great way to have a good meal without cooking as I am too exhausted and short on time to cook. Unfortunately the delivery was left at the bottom of my building instead of being brought up to my flat, without them even attempting to buzz the flat or call me. I can't leave the baby alone inside, and I can't carry both the heavy food parcel and my baby at the same time. I eventually found a neighbour that could fetch the parcel for me, but by that time it was too late. The food had already defrosted. As I am a breastfeeding mother I can't risk eating bad food, so I contacted Field Goods to explain that because they had failed to deliver the parcel to me and in the time since the food had gone bad could they resend it (delivering it to my address next time) or give a refund so I could repurchase. They instead refused to take any responsibility for the poor delivery and told me to eat it anyway, but I'm not able to take this risk with a new baby to breastfeed. Now my week's food budget is spent and I've nothing to eat with it. Don't be fooled by Field Goods telling you who made their food and thinking they care about people, they certainly don't care about their customers or how they deliver their food to them.

The food is amazing 👏 and delicious delivery was fast

Brilliant delivery. Incredible ice packaging. All meals went directly into the freezer. Due to the stupidly hot weather, we will be eating our first meal tonight as it’s the coolest day of the week. It’s the Chicken Chirizo & Butterbean casserole. Looking forward to it with new potatoes and garden peas. I’ll update my review tomorrow.

I bought a range of dishes as a standby for busy days and was not disappointed with the taste, or how easy it was to have a delicious meal on the table in under an hour. Love the choice and yes, I’ll be back :).

I have tried two dishes so far, a vegetarian dish and a pork and fennel ragout.
Unfortunately the taste was drowned out by the seasoning particularly chilli I think.
Too much seasoning and spices are not good for elderly people like myself who rely on ready meals. Chilli makes me choke and gives me bloating. Pepper, black or white, gives me indigestion.
We should not be eating added salt or we will have heart problems.
What is wrong with simply cooking with the basic ingredients like we would prepare at home if we could?
Please can you send me a list of dishes that cut right back on seasoning please?
I heartily applaud your philosophy of farming and food production. So this is such a disappointment to me. I would like to keep on ordering from you.

I’m so pleased to have found this company. Their food is exceptional and more importantly my husband loves it. I’m a reasonable cook but due to a nasty ankle problem I can’t stand for any length of time and my husband doesn’t cook!
So thank you both so much, you have saved us from starving!!!

Wow. Customer service is outstanding. Our first delivery failed (DPD, I'm looking at you 👀) Harry was fantastic at responding and making sure we received our package swiftly and efficiently.

Always delivered on time. Excellent food and decent quantities. I add microwave rice or potatoes.

Lovely meals with precise delivery dates and times.
I am disabled and unable to cook from scratch so these meals are a boon especially when I have guests

Despite cooking the Goan Fish Curry as per the instructions, the fish was cold in the middle. The sauce was piping hot, but the fish had not cooked. We even cooked it for 45 minutes which is the higher end of the recommended cooking time.

Delicious food, perfect gift and a great customer experience.
