Paid for 48 hours tracked delivery on some ammonia for cycling my tank. Sale went through no problem with no issues flagged up. I didn’t receive the item so I emailed them. They did respond to my email very quickly (one star!) to tell me the product was out of stock and was on back order and although they couldn’t guarantee when it would arrive, it shouldn’t be more than 2 weeks! I cancelled the order and asked for a refund which was given immediately and without question (the other star!). From reading other reviews, a few customers have had this experience. Won’t use Finest Aquatics again or recommend to anyone else.

Finest Aquatics LTD 😊 Well happy! Ordered my Aquael Opti Set 200 Tank & Cabinet in white on a Friday & arrived the following Friday. Good communication Arron rang me to inform of my delivery date. Arrived all safe and sound on a pallet with No Damage, not gonna lie I was worried it arriving damaged. Really good quality tank and cabinet made very well. Easy to put together, you do need two people to move the tank about.
I would recommend this tank & cabinet 10/10 looks great clean stylish, compared to the tanks I’ve had before ie. Juwel ones and for the money, to half the price.

Products good but in this case took over a month to deliver and no communication from them despite multiple chasers. They did just before delivery say the item was on back order but that was very late in day and despite multiple requests.

Needed a new pump for my tank, this company popped up. Ordered and it was delivered the next day. Fantastic service and great company to deal with

Unfortunately ive still not recieved this order. I was initially given tracking details that it had been delivered to a safeplace. This wasnt the case and after contacting customer services was then advised that my order hadnt even been shipped yet as was on back order! Ithen had notification that delivery had been attempted last week whilst I was at work but couldn't now leave in my safeplace. This was 5 days ago now and no redelivery has been arranged nor collection. Baring in mind this was frozen foods so will be ruined now anyway. Very fed up with it all now sadly

Finest Aquatics is an incredible aquatic store!

We’re based in Oxford and had to travel to Liverpool twice over the past two weeks for work. While there, I made it a mission to visit some local aquatic shops — and I’m so glad I stumbled across this absolute gem.

The store is in a great location on an industrial estate, with plenty of parking, which makes visiting really easy.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Mike, who gave me a warm welcome and a quick introduction to the store. He took a genuine interest in where I’d travelled from and what fish I keep — and even offered me a really good quality coffee on the house! That instantly told me everything I needed to know about the level of customer service here.

The marine section is truly something special. I don’t currently keep marine fish, but the variety, quality, and presentation were all 5-star. It honestly inspired me to consider setting up a marine tank — everything looked absolutely stunning.

Upstairs in the tropical section, it was just as impressive. The choice and quality of fish were outstanding, and the setups were equally inspiring. Here I met Dale, who was just as friendly and knowledgeable — again, top-notch customer service.

On our second visit later that week, we received the exact same brilliant experience. This time, we left with a pair of Honeycomb Ancistrus and a pair of Angelfish. Dale packed the fish perfectly for our 4-hour journey back to Oxford, which really shows the care they put into everything they do.

The only downside? I live too far away! I’d love to have a store like this on my doorstep. There aren’t many shops in the UK of this standard — this place is truly one of a kind.

Very fast and efficient service I would definitely recommend this company.

I have no problem with the ordering service but Royal Mail were poor. I received an email from them saying delivery would be last Thursday but that didn’t happen. Then another email arrived on Saturday giving delivery slot but that was missed and then another email saying they could not deliver until the next working day being today. The package has now arrived.
