Thank you Debby and Izach for a fabulous afternoon. We had a great time and learned so much. It was so much fun to try out so many different techniques and use different tools to make our pieces. Izach is so skilled and knowledgeable at what he does so we were definitely in safe hands! Debby took lots of pictures and videos of us which were such a lovely memento of the day. We felt very impressed with ourselves when we collected them the next day! Such a memorable experience - would absolutely recommend!

We had such a wonderful morning in the glass studio. Izach is such a passionate, knowledgable teacher. He guided us through not only the steps we needed to take to create our pieces, but the science behind it too. Fascinating stuff! We're thrilled with the paperweight, glass and vase that we made. And would highly recommend this experience to anyone considering it.

Izach teaches you the basics of glass art and will allow you to make your desired piece, getting as hands-on as possible throughout each phase of the creation while learning about each phase and the equipment used.

Debby and Izach work so well together ensuring that each process is as seamless as possible. Debby takes some fantastic photos throughout the experience and sends them over when finished - a lovely touch!

We all enjoyed it so much, we will return in the summer to make another piece!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a glass art experience at Fire Work Glass Studio in Dipford near Totnes, and it was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, the session was engaging, educational, and incredibly enjoyable.

The process was fast-paced but well-structured, ensuring we learned a lot while still having the freedom to explore our creativity (under the expert guidance of Izach). The hands-on approach allowed us to choose our own designs and techniques, making the experience feel personal and meaningful. My wife created some beautiful glasswork, while I crafted a whisky glass, and we were both thrilled with the results.

The atmosphere in the studio was warm and welcoming. Our group was small, which made for an intimate experience. Izach and Debby were knowledgeable, patient, and friendly, guiding us through each step while keeping the experience relaxed and fun. They even provided tea and coffee, adding to the homely feel.

A lovely touch was the recommendation to visit a local pub afterward (The Avon Inn), which rounded off the day perfectly. A few days later, we collected our finished pieces, which were beautifully crafted and will serve as lasting reminders of a truly special experience. When we collected we took our boys and Debby gave them a quick demonstration. They have a Hungarian Vizsla which tells you they are good people!

I highly recommend The Fire Work Glass Studio for anyone looking for a unique and creative activity near Totnes. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some artistic experience, this is a fantastic way to learn a new skill and create something meaningful.

This was a fantastic experience. Debby was so helpful with the booking & really friendly on arrival. Izach was brilliant, he explained everything as we went along & it was really interesting to learn the science behind it. He helped us make lovely glass & it was a really exciting experience. He’s so enthusiastic. The shop has amazing glass in it too. I would definitely do this again, I loved it.

Izach and Debby were super friendly, enthusiastic and informative. I learned loads, had a great time and celebrated my anniversary with my wife in a novel and special way. Would recommend.

What an amazing experience. You can’t help but get swept up by Izach and Debby’s enthusiasm and knowledge. My 17yr old daughter and I loved every minute of working in the studio creating wonderful pieces expertly guided by Izach. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I was bought the experience by my family for my 50th Birthday.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by Debbie and Izach who are both extremely knowledgeable and their passion is obvious.

Izach provided the perfect balance of guiding and teaching and including me in every step. It's very hands on and the skill he displays is amazing. We created some lovely pieces and the whole set up is very professional and the atmosphere was great.

I could not recommend this any more highly. It was amazing and it is an experience I will remember forever.

Creating a cosy and happy home feels more essential than ever in a fast-paced and often stressful world. Today, I am the lucky owner of three exquisite glass mushrooms and a home where the mushrooms give me all the hygge I could ever wish for. Whether they are simply placed amongst the plants on our hearth or backlit by small tea lights, they create a spectacular display.

Debbie and Izach’s attention to detail, from the point of sale to the collection of the mushrooms, was faultless. I cannot recommend Fire Work Glass Studio highly enough. Fire Work Glass make perfect gifts for either yourself or for family members.

Booked this as a surprise gift for my boyfriend, and we were definitely not disappointed! Izach & Debby are lovely and also incredible at what they do, they make you feel extremely welcome & teach you well and give great results. Would definitely go again and recommend to everyone

Izach is a hugely talented artist and teacher. We had a wonderful afternoon making 3 beautiful pieces, learning and laughing. We lost 1 piece due to an overnight power cut in the kiln, but Izach remade it in the same colours and the wonderful Debby posted everything to us to save a trip back.

My husband booked this as a gift for my Birthday. I had always wanted to have a go at it ever since I was little, and I wasnt disappointed. The experience was amazing and we loved it. Izach and Debby were full of knowledge, explained everything so it was easy for us to understand, and the location is beautiful. We made a vase, a bauble, a bowl, a flower and a paper weight. Was fun learning different techniques and using
all different colours. I would definitely recommend you go and give it a go. Thank you both for the perfect birthday experience.

We were blown away and had the best time ever at Fire Work Glass Studio. A surprise birthday gift from our lovely daughter. We learnt so much from Izach & Debby thank you both. I would definitely recommend this as an experience and it makes a unique gift too!

Spent brilliant afternoon with Izach making a paper weight & 2 tumblers . Izach was very knowledgeable and talked us through the whole process .We learnt a lot about glass. Very friendly and nice environment. Highly recommend and will go back again !

Spent a wonderful time making glass with Izach & Debby. Izach is experienced, enthusiastic & great teacher. We learned a lot about the process and achieved so much more than expected. I bought this session as a birthday gift for my husband who made a paperweight,candle holder & a Christmas bauble and I made a flower. We are delighted with them and highly recommend you try Fire Work.

I ordered a gift for my sister but had trouble with the website when it came to leaving details and payment, not Fire Work Glass Studio's fault btw.
I was able to contact them directly. I have to say they went above and beyond to help, sending a photo of the item I wanted so I could choose (all hand made) as it was a birthday gift they asked if I wanted a message written, which was a lovely thing to have done.
They sent me a photo of the parcel all ready to go and helped with sorting out the payment (PayPal take note).
The lovely lady I delt with was a joy!!

They are so lovely here I had barely any glass experience before and was able to make three amazing pieces with their help such lovely people and amazing teachers that were willing to answer my many questions about the process I would definitely recommend especially if you have no prior experience with glass
