NO TRUST IN APPROVED HONDA
Bought an approved Honda Civic from Fish Brothers Swindon. it had the following problems.
Alarm goingoff all the time - repaired
Electric windows very slow - partially repaired
Rear heated window - not repaired
Constant Diesel Particle Filter issues. Went in 7 times inthe garage for approx. 6 months. never repaired correctly. Still happening outside of warranty so was forced to trade in at a huge loss. NO TRUST IN APPROVED HONDA OR FISH BROTHERS. VERY UN SATISFACTORY.
Just bought a brand new Jaecoo 5…
Just bought a brand new Jaecoo 5 through Fish Brothers. So far no complaints with the car, its what we expected however, maybe I'm old school, but I remember when buying a new car was something special and picking your car up from the dealer felt like a treat. Well this transaction felt very flat and disappointing.
The first clue that customer service might not be a priority was when we booked the test drive. We turned up on time, took the car out but then on return was told that the salesman we were booked to see was busy with another customer and someone else would help us. The next guy reluctantly agreed to help and we were then asked to have a seat as he'd be about 10 to 15 minutes!!
Eventually we got to sit down and talk options and placed our order.
Communication wasn't great but finally got a call to say our car was ready to pickup.
When we went to collect the car from the same salesman, he was polite and friendly and took us through all the paperwork and offered a coffee. Ready to drive the car away he took us to the vehicle opened the door and ..... the inside was dirty!! He went and got some cleaner and did a bit of a wipe round. He apologised and said that they outsource the valeting. I suggested that they should change who they use if this was the standard as wasn't good enough.
Whilst I know none of this is major it was sub optimal customer service and felt like there was a lack of care and attention to detail. I mean wouldn't you do a once over to make sure everything was pristine before handing an owner their new vehicle?
I also finding it disappointing that small things like car mats didn't come as standard.
So whilst the guy himself was ok, it just all felt a bit complacent.
Great customer service
Our Honda was serviced at Fish Brothers, Swindon. The customer service we received from the Service adviser Paul Gaskin was exemplary. Our visit was timely, conducted with efficiency and exceeded our expectations.

Dealing with Fish Brothers Chery…
Dealing with Fish Brothers Chery Swindon has been a positive experience, Ive put off buying a car for years as I could not face 'the whole thing including hard sell.' Well it was a relaxed no pressure approach, information given when asked, show room neat cars available, and test drive easy to arrange. A full hour to see what driving would be like. Kingsley was very helpful and his approach in not ' trying to sell the car' allowed us the space to consider the car, the deal, the brand. CHERY have also made it easy, its aspire or pro, clear pricing no guessing and clear simple list of what is or is not included. The ordering process was fairly easy, took bit of time to source insurance as car reg was pending registration but thereafter it went smoothly. Kingsley was very accommodating, answered questions promptly and he made the car pick up a special occasion that my kids in particular will remember.

I recently took delivery of a new Dacia Duster from the team at Fish Brothers. From the time of initial enquiry to driving off in my Duster the staff were professional, helpful and respectful. A particular mention has to go to the young sales assistant Tauheed for his ongoing support throughout the process. Tauheed ensured I had a positive experience providing regular updates re the delivery and collection of my new car.

Swindon branch experience
I have been taking my car to the honda Swindon branch for many years but this is the first time I am writing a review. My experience has always been underwhelming but Paul Gaskin at Fish Brothers Honda in Swindon was remarkable and has changed my opinion. He accommodated the work I needed to be done very quickly and he was welcoming and friendly when I went into the branch. I left with a smile.and felt valued as a customer.

Paul gaskin made my experience a breeze at fish bros honda swindon. Took my civic for a service and he handled it for me professionally. Even stayed late to make sure i got my car back the same day. The whole process was easy and straightforward, and I'd be delighted to deal with Paul in the future.

Paul Gaskin in Swindon Honda, was very polite and helpful when I brought my car in to have the break replaced, he explained what would happen, and approximately how long it would be before I heard anything. He was also great about booking me an MOT appointment for a time that would suit me best.

Fishbrothers HONDA Swindon
I purchased a vehicle on January the 8th with the help of Salesman Kenan Harrison. The proccess was extremely straight forward and easy, and Kenan was very friendly and happy to answer any question I had. As I was a new driver, I was nervous to drive the vehicle home during peak hours, but Kenan was more than happy to drive the vehicle for me as well as drop me off back home. The entire experience of buying a car was very easy.
I took the vehicle in to have its break fluid changed today, almost 2 months later, and was dealt with by Peter Gaskin. Peter was very friendly and made the process very easy. There was a problem found with the AC of the vehicle, and the tyre repair kit was outdated. Intially I was expected to pay, which I was unhappy with, but Peter listened to me when I explained I recently purchased the car, and that it should be covered under warranty. The issues were quickly rectified, I was given a new tyre repair kit and re-assured that the repair of the AC would be covered by the warranty.
Excellent customer service from both the experiences with purchasing a vehicle and going for a service. Although there was an issue with the car, it was quickly rectified and I was given reassurance, so it still deserves a 5 star.
UPDATE: I had my vehicles AC repaired, no problems at all, under warranty. Peter explained everything that was happening and kept me informed. I also had two minor issues inspected, one being applied a temporary fix which is reasonable for the time being, and another which needs to be fixed at a later date. Peter was very helpful and is esculating these two issues so they can be rectified.
