As everyone else has said, avoid this company! Bad experience and poorly made boats. The transom on my boat has come apart from the boat itself. When I contacted the company they wouldn’t help me. I took the boat into a specialist, who currently had 3 other Bison boats in already, all with exactly the same issue and said they get loads of these in for the same repair!!! Avoid these and buy another brand such as Nash.

Poor service, couldn't seem to care less. I won't be buying anything from this lot again.

Bison 4 section 16’ carbon beach casting surf fishing rod 5 metres

I bought this rod from FishingMad.co.uk, it arrived promptly and well packed. I assembled it in the garden for a wiggle and noticed a small rattle at the mid 8ft + 8ft spigot. Not wantinting to risk throwing 6oz on a 16ft rod on a public beach I contacted FishingMad to retturn the rod for a REPLACEMENT. They suggested I use Parcel2Go to return the rod for inspection which I did. They emailed me after it had arrived stating that they could find no problem with the rod. I have been fishing for over fifty years (from the days of brass ferrules) and have purchased five of their travel rods- so a LOT of spigots there, with only one having a slight problem which was remedied with beeswax. Unfortunately because of my naivety/trust I did not make a video/audio recording of the play in the spigot, so it is their word against mine. Result- I lost out on the £16 odd that I should have been refunded for the return of faulty goods.
So beware if buying a rod from this company, be sure to assemble and test first before throwing lead on the beach. If there is a problem RECORD it before returning the rod.

This company are selling fake waterproof boots, these are Bison camo boots. THEY ARE NOT WATERPROOF IN THE SLIGHTEST.
I have had to report this company for fraudulent claims about these boots. Do not buy them.

Contacted Craig at Fishingmad and without hesitation, I was offered and given a full refund, even though it was my fault for not checking dimensions before I placed the order.
Based on this, I would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate in ordering more tackle in the future.

Try to order on ebay but keep getting blocked by this company. I had phoned them 2 years ago they told me they would sort this out.

I put the wrong postcode on my order so it didnt arrive but fishing mad sent out new ones immediately to arrive in time for a birthday

Brilliant service and brilliant products, I bought 2 stainless steel bank sticks, couldn't believe the price and so was a little apprehensive. They arrived very quickly, incredible quality and do the business, I will be back!!!

Hermes lost the parcel and emailed me saying they were at fault and said would issue a refund to fishing mad a copy of the email stating thus was sent to fishing mad but they refuse to issue the refund there a joke

Awful experience - boots developed a fault which rendered them unwearable despite light use. Claimed this was "wear and tear" which it clearly isn't. After a protracted debate via Amazon and this company I was left £40 down with no boots. Strongly advise you not to use them unless you are happy to lose your money if something goes wrong.

Bought a fishing chair and stitching came undone after only 6 weeks (I sent them a photograph) so clearly faulty. Ignored their legal obligation to pay for cost of returning. I would advise that you don't buy anything from this company.

Based on Fishing Mad's description of the goods (product image and text), I ordered a fishing rod with a trigger grip reel seat, but received a fishing rod with a fixed-spool reel seat. As obvious as it may seem, Fishing Mad refused to admit to have done anything wrong...

When I complained and wanted to return the goods, Fishing Mad stated that they would only refund the cost of the goods, but not the original shipping costs. In addition, Fishing Mad was not willing to reimburse the return shipping costs if I was to send the goods back. This in spite of the fact that it is against Fishing Mad's own terms and conditions, and the UK Consumer Rights Act...

I was very impressed with the high level of customer service and professionalism shown by this company. I ordered a pair of Waders online and during the transaction I received prompt and courteous service over the telephone and in email replies. The product itself is of the highest quality and great value for the price paid. I shall certainly have no hesitation in recommending this company and will definitely use them again in the future should the need arise.
