Fjords has the best recliners backed with the best service

Fjords is a company with true integrity. We have used their ergonomic recliners for years, and they have been a great help with back and neck pain, and the comfort is unmatched. After reaching out to their claims department with no expectations about an issue with an older model, I was met with incredible kindness and professionalism. Charles, Amanda, and the team handled my situation with a level of generosity I’ve rarely seen in modern retail. It’s clear they take immense pride in their craftsmanship and truly value their customers. I’ve recommended Fjords to my family and fellow veterans in the past, and after this experience, I will continue to do so with even more confidence. Five stars for both the product and the people.

I needed a replacement head pillow for…

I needed a replacement head pillow for my Fjords Mustang chair. Fay and Amanda in Fjords customer service department worked seamlessly with each other to get me the part with perfect color, texture, etc and in quick time. I couldn’t have been more pleased with their help or the chair.

This is the best chair ive owned so…

This is the best chair ive owned so far, even better then 3000$ dutailier garbage chairs for half the price. Sturdy and strong. been two years now and im balancing in these 10 hours a day , still going strong. will buy from them again when this one dies. Thanks fjords!

Terrible leather wear on Fjord Milan seating

My experience dealing with the Fjord retailer who sold us the furniture was great!!
However we took back the Milan software and recliner for warranty repair because we were finding that just after a few short months the wear in the seating area on sofa where my wife sits and the chair that I sit in most often was taking on a hollowed out indentation leaving the leather in a very sloppy look , almost like there was too much material. After the repair it is the same and seems to be getting worse. We have other quality leather furniture and the seating area is smooth and clean looking no bunching of the leather after using.We paid HUGE money for this furniture I would expect close to perfection. Think of it this way if the leather seat in you Ferrari did not look smooth and have a good firm look to it after you drive it and appeared sloppy looking and bunched up would you be happy, maybe a poor analogy but i think having some exacting standards is important, sooo just a heads up folks, ask you retailer lots of questions about warranty the customer reviews and how the company would handle your dissatisfaction???? I will continue to speak to my retailer in New Brunswick Canada to hopefully resolve this issue, We paid $12,000 Can for the sofa and chair, I think I have legitimate concerns, I also plan to share this review on google.

No Communication= My Canceled Order

I ordered a Fjords chair from The Sleep Galleria and was told the delivery would be 3-4 weeks. After 4 weeks passed I was in contact on a daily basis for over a week with The Sleep Galleria to find out what was going on. After they were able to contact Fjords multiple times it was finally pieced together that the company had stopped production and was in the process of moving warehouses. I was told it would be another 4 weeks until delivery could occur. I then canceled my order. The sleep Galleria was nothing but great with keeping me informed but I will never order from Fjords again. Fair such an expensive chair line you'd think their communication would be better.

Avoid Purchasing From These People

I purchased 2 Fjord chairs from a retailer in another state (We're in Texas). Because the chairs were not in stock, the retailer had them drop shipped from the Fjords warehouse/ USA headquarters in Flemington, NJ. The retailer indicated that shipping normally takes 2-4 business days, or 2 additional days if from the warehouse. Turns out the Fjords warehouse gives the delivery to Metropolitan Warehouse and Delivery in Perth Amboy, NJ. According to the BBB, Metropolitan has the worst record, rated F, AND their shipment to Texas will take 11 days (not 4-6 business days). Why would a Norwegian manufacturer of expensive chairs send deliveries to customers using the worst possible choice of carriers? My advice here is Fjords may have a good reputation for furniture but they have a very poor distribution policy in the US - I would avoid purchasing any of their goods if it must be shipped from the Flemington warehouse. Its obvious Fjords USA reputation for quality ends with their shipment of goods. Many other good manufacturers who provide quality furniture AND quality delivery to their customers.
