Really disappointed with the level of support from Flight Centre.

My partner and I had to cancel flights last year due to the passing of his father. We were issued a credit, but since then, trying to get any help has been incredibly frustrating.

I’ve visited in store and been told to call. I’ve called and couldn’t get through. When I finally did speak to someone, I was redirected elsewhere with no resolution. There’s been no ownership or genuine assistance at any point.

The credit itself is also very restrictive, with added fees and conditions that make it difficult to use, and now it’s close to expiring.

I understand policies exist, but in situations like this, you expect a basic level of compassion and support — which has been completely lacking.

Would not recommend based on this experience.

Trying to call Airport West branch on behalf of my parents who are overseas on a trip they purchased through Flight Centre.

The Flight Centre consultant has made a mistake with flights and we're trying to resolve it.

I've currently been on hold with Flight Centre for over 30 minutes without getting through!!! This is disgusting!!

Their hold message does not tell you how long you will be in the queue, or what number you are. It does give a call back option but this doesn't work for many people as they have their own work obligations and can't be called randomly.

How is this a premium Australian travel agent?

Steve Dicky was very helpful and it's great to deal with someone who knows his travel
