Not much else to do while waiting for a flight that FlightStats says will take off in 15 mins, still “on schedule” while the screens at the airport and the flight status of the airline show an hour and a half delay!
If FlightStats turns to be right and we’ll be taking off in 15 mins I’ll update this review and give it top marks.
Honestly, where does it get its data from?

This site showed a flight I was tracking had taken off and was cruising at 3200 ft while other tracking sites and the airport showed it hadn't moved (delayed 1.5 hours). What rubbish!

I rely on this app for work as I work at an airport and service incoming customers picking up their hire car. Have not been able to access this app gor 2 days and it is very difficult and frustrating not knowing the status of planes movements. I extremely hope they fix the problem asap as I would like to be able to my job and go about my day as usual.

When you open it after a new download and a update. While terminalsigns flip, you will.see a wheel. The wheel of no connecties, delay, data lackage and off line. So I will not recommand this programma to anyone. They probabely full their office with a namecalling yesterday, instead of the doing and the deed of tomorrow.

There are so many others that work better than this c r a p.

Someone very dear to me was in a flight from hi chi Minh city to singspore on 17 January 2024 on Flight TR 307 (code share SQ 8539). The flight took off an hour late which is ok. But halfway through tracking this flight, flightstats updated to show that the flight was descending, in the middle of the ocean! It continued to descend all the way down to 22 feet and one can only imagine the terror anyone who had a loved one on this plane must have felt. I used another tracker which showed the plane was still cruising at 35000 feet when according to flightstats, it must have been landing in the ocean. I was petrified until I kept refreshing and some time later, it updated to show the same status as the other tracker. Maybe they did not fetch real time data which would have accounted for the 1 hour delay in taking off, and simply assumed the plane would be descending to land at 6 pm instead of 7. Either way, I have learnt never to rely on this website to track any flight related data ever again.

I really can’t recommend them. All too often their data is not up to date. Right now it’s 20:05 and I’m still waiting for me 17:40 flight to depart. AENA reports it correctly as delayed until 20:45. But FlightStats still show it as scheduled lol !!! Useless.

FlightStat website says you can get arrival and departure information form the airport of your choice. The video shows you can select the date. But when you subscribe and try and use this, it only allows a choice of the three previous days. Rip-off.

Was tracking a flight which showed it was in the air and over 500 miles from the departure airport, at the same time I was in contact with my partner she was texting to say they were still sat on the runway an hour after original departure !!

Can't cancel subscription and keep useing the service for the rest of the prepaid period!
