Honest Review: WCL Leads by Jerry Norton is a scam. Been receiving leads now for over 3 weeks. The first day we received leads it was great because each lead came with notes and then they just decided to scrap the notes and haven't received notes on a lead since even though their staff said it was coming back the very next week. Also the lead quality was actually pretty good that first week but then everything changed the following week. A very large amount of the leads have shared they never chatted with anyone and never shared they wanted to sell their home. Obviously, since they are hiding and withholding the notes it's impossible to understand previous conversations. Also, a large amount of the leads state they have already sold. Which leads me to believe these are very old leads that are being resold because the sellers are sharing they sold weeks and sometimes months ago. On top of that a large amount of sellers are saying over the past week they are getting 15+ calls a day recently and when asking the caller where they got their information from they all stated they just purchased a list that they were on. This leads me to believe that they lied to us stating that these are exclusive leads and are just selling us old unqualified leads for a money grab. I would bet my last dollar these are old leads that are being resold and not exclusive at all. This is a pretty bad look for a guy like Jerry Norton and have lost all trust in this company as a result of this scam operation. Do not buy these leads as they are trash, unqualified, old leads that are not exclusive.
Avoid this scam! I received an email offering $10,000 and a job, but when I reached out to them, they said I had to pay for a program, there was no job and no money. That is a common scammer trick and I made sure to come review this program and person as quickly as possible. There are multiple people who have been scammed out of thousands from this company. Stay away!!
Disappointing Experience with Jerry Norton's 10K Club
I signed up for Jerry Norton's 10K Club in December last year, hoping to make a successful investment in real estate. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory.
Training and Deal Submission:
It took me a week to understand the training, and I managed to submit my first deal within a month, meeting the criteria. However, the deal was rejected, and I was asked to renegotiate to a much lower price, which was unjustified based on the work needed and comps comparison. Despite this setback, I continued to seek help from the weekly mentorship calls. These calls were supposed to provide guidance, but I rarely got a chance to ask my questions. When I did, the answers were generic and unhelpful, such as "keep trying" and "stick to your market."
Revised Criteria and Deal Approval:
The revised criteria shared by the mentor made it nearly impossible to submit further deals. The deal prices were set so low that no real estate agent was willing to work with such offers, and wholesalers did not accept the 10-day inspection contingency. After analyzing hundreds of deals, the 90 days passed without any deal approval. When I requested a refund, it was denied, and my access to the program was revoked.
Lifetime Access and Upselling:
During the webinar (before joining), Jerry Norton promised lifetime access to the 10K program and the Lot Flipper program for free. However, my access was removed after completing 90 days upon requesting a refund, and I did not receive a refund either. Additionally, I started receiving calls from their team about joining their 1-1 mentorship program right from the first week of signing up in the 10K Club, which cost around $12,000. Despite my refusal to enroll, they kept pushing me to join, claiming it would lead to bigger checks. I decided to wait, suspecting the success of the enrolled program, and I'm glad I did, as I could have lost even more money.
Conclusion:
In my experience, Jerry Norton's 10K Club did not deliver on its promises. The criteria for deal approval were not disclosed upfront, and the program seemed designed to push participants until the refund period expired, leaving them out of pocket. Another thing to be aware of is the upselling of more expensive mentorship programs, where they can make more money. If you're not worried about losing $1,000, you might consider trying it, but otherwise, I recommend staying away. Ultimately, it's crucial to make informed decisions and invest your money wisely.
Jerry and his team are the ultimate example of a go-givers. Very few real estate training communities offer the same type of help and devotion as Jerry does. He's concerned with your success on a business as well as a personal level. They hold multiple weekly training and support calls and provide many tools for free. His mentorship goes much further than that and is worth every penny.
