Another overpriced limited edition from the Folio Society, this apparently being the new pattern. Like with the mediocre Neuromancer limited edition I can see this one being released as a normal edition with very few changes, beyond losing the rather underwhelming clamshell box. The cover art is nice but the material is nothing special, I'd expect leather for the price. FS have also bizarrely decided to convert this lengthy trilogy of books into one massive, unread volume. This has the side effect of making the paper seem rather thin. The art inside is nice enough and the three body examples in the clamshell case are cool but otherwise that doesn't feel too solid and again appears cheaply made for the price. A massive disappointment all round and if not for the rather rare signature I would not have bothered.
