I'm very disappointed with the organization of the Nitro Monster Truck Passenger Rides 2026 event at The Fox Hunter Pub in Lucan.
I waited in line for about 15 minutes with my child, and we were first in line for the ride. The Monster Truck has eight passenger seats. Even though we were first in line, the person responsible for boarding first let a family of four in, then asked us to step aside to let another family of four in. This meant that despite waiting and being first in line, we had to wait another 15-25 minutes for the next ride. This was deliberate segregation and discrimination, very unfair in Ireland.
After paying €15 per person, I expected professional service and a safe, enjoyable experience for my child. Unfortunately, during the ride, my child was placed on a seat that had pooled water. As a result, my pants, underwear, and sweatshirt were completely soaked. Instead of enjoying the ride, the child kept complaining that he was wet and uncomfortable. This was a very unpleasant experience for the child and a huge disappointment for a young person who was looking forward to this attraction.
The organizers should check the condition of the seats before each ride. If there is water on a seat, it should not be available to passengers, or at least they should be informed of the problem in advance.
The most annoying thing was that after the ride, we had to drive about 35 kilometers home to change into dry clothes. We then had to drive another 35 kilometers to continue the previously planned activities that day.
After this experience, I wouldn't pay even 5 euros for this attraction. I strongly advise against both Nitro Monster Truck Passenger Rides and the way this attraction was organized at The Fox Hunter Pub in Lucan. I absolutely do not recommend it!!!
