I can't believe they have such a convoluted method of selling their own software for their own hardware. It is pathetic to say the least. You buy the software...and the default appears to be to ship it to your address! Their system is set up to allow you to download but it doesn't work. I am able to update my current software on my device, but good luck trying to buy additional.

They're terrible. No US support number, they only answer emails at night and they take days. I bought an 809TS and it stopped charging immediately. They wouldn't replace it or do anything, they said talk to the retailer. Unacceptable.

I have had the same type of poor customer service other reviewers experienced. I asked for help on how to delete a fault message and received an incorrect response. I responded asking for a clarification and didn't get a response. I waited a few days for a response and decided they must not have seen my message so I asked again and still didn't get a response. It appears they lack the necessary courtesy to at least let you know why they can't or won't answer your question.

Additionally, I have had a lot of problem with the operation of their OBD scanner and now can't get updates.

Avoid these products at all costs they out of nowhere discontinue models without notice so you have a scanner it works on the cars trucks you bought it for but they will not let you update or even reinstall your software the FAQ includes links to websites they have shut down every area is separate and if you are on the wrong site nothing works.
the registration for your scanner online will reset not recognize the scanner and will not let you add it. This means you have ZERO way to file a support ticket because it requires fields that you cannot enter information into along with un relevant information like car make model engine +++ essentially foxwell made it so theres no possible way to contact them.

If you bought a higher end product or something like the NT630 elite you are SOL

DO NOT PURCHASE Foxwell products why support a business that will not support you

I bought an nt530 from ebay. I literally used the unit 2 times to reset service intervals, it is kept as good as new.
Only problem on the 3rd time I tried to use it, it won't turn on, it's dead.
Neither the ebay seller or the foxwell company care to help me with a dead device.
200$ in the junk bin. Never again foxwell.

Purchased the nt630plus and did diagnostics
Test on my vehicle. Put the scanner away after use and went for a drive. Car would not start? Further analyisis found a burnt out 60 watt fuse, windshield wipers would not work, total loss of steering, interior lights were all out?
Tried communicating with somebody over there but there is no contact number for North America? Just a waste of my time and others because we thought this product was for real? They just take your money and leave you high and dry?

Foxwell have good quality tools and are excellent value for money with great features. I have had none of the issues I’ve read here and can only assume people with issues leave bad reviews but people with good experiences just haven’t bothered. I have 3 Foxwell tools.
NT510 elite - registered on website with life time current updates. BMW specific but easily purchased extra software online for Vauxhall and Mercedes after selling BMW.
NT630 plus -registered online with lifetime current updates. All models.
You have to take the micro sim out and put it in the supplied usb and update this way via their pc app.
I also have the GT60, fantastic bit of kit. Registered online and updates via wi-fi free for 18months. Absolutely no issues experienced. You have to put in some effort, understand their system and how their sites operate and it all works fine.

Wont respond to product issues , seems that after you have purchased a scanner ,you on your own

got a Gt65 and total useless doesn't work on any car that I have tried, doesn't pick up the VIN number you have to enter it manually when you do it can't find the car anyway. Quite frankly I could have spent my $1500 buck on something better. Now I can't even contact them just keep getting messed about. Total paper weight.

I bought two Foxwell scanners with lifetime update, however when you do update they are no actual updates made, just runs the progress bar. When you complain you are told it is obsolete and to buy a new one. Neither unit would save data or store codes. Foxwell scanners are a scam, do NOT buy.

i gave it 1 star because zero wasnt an option. i paid a fortune for the nt650 with lifetime updates. guess what. there are no longer any updates. absolutley disgusting. a complete waste of money now as it doesnt work with any new cars

Forget trying to return something. They are a joke. Had to dispute the charge. All you get from them is BS.

Don't work with many cars.
Can read some codes sometimes but not reliable at all.

I have two Foxwell analysers, both are fairly new. When I contacted Foxwell support about an error code the reply was it’s to old and been discontinued buy another unit. I found their products all but useless and the support even worse.
Very poor would never buy from this company again.

can not connect company about system file corrupted I have been trying for a week very bad products if you wish to loose money buy there products or better yet buy a different brand.

Not as describe lifetime free updates bought NT 650
3 year ago and now cant be update any longer. Waste of money . dont buy from FOXWell you will be not happy with the result.

Similar to what others have said. I bought the NT624Elite in Aug of 22 in part because of the advertisement that shows a list of functions I need. After purchasing and trying to use those and inquiring with the company, they tell me I have to purchase the software upgrade to make it a 644 model to get those functions. I have been unable numerous times to get the website to work, the company is terrible to work with, english is bad, they dont fully answer questions, and now they have gone dark. The company name I purchased sounded like a USA company, but turns out its the same company using a different name. Its typical Chinese. No matter who you are tempted to buy this from, I would recommend against it. This was a wasted $200 for me.

When I checked up on my order 4 days later, I was told they needed to verify my address that's why they could not ship it. I provided it and even attached the order number and again I was ask to verify. So painful and dumb. Did not make sense to me when I paid for it and my address is on the order number and they say their system is warning them. So I requested to cancel my order and get my refund.

I would agree with previous comments....I bought a NT614Elite... the website is so bad it takes longer then the timeout to get the verification code to sign in...therefore it is impossible to update.... I am sure this is designed in redundancy.... these are rubbish...that's where mine will end up... I will purchase a more reputable non Chinese item next time....
