2 fitters came in an old estate car with my new carpet on the roof..the fitters were in their 70s and didn’t have the strength or the tools to pull the carpet tight…the door threshes were hacked at and cut too short and the carpets looked shocking…never again!

Took my 75 year old mam to Franks at Newcastle we were greeted by Nathan who went above and beyond with his advice, customer service and support in helping her pick and purchase carpets. I can’t thank him enough for his patience and making the process very smooth. Thank you Nathan. I highly recommend.

We went to Franks Flooring Stamfordham Road to get prices etc. Spoke with Dale who gave us the information we required. He was lovely and easy to talk to, not pushy at all. So after much deliberation , we decided to go back to Franks and dealt with Dale again, who made an appointment for Jamie to come out to measure and give us a price on the flooring we chose. We have now purchase flooring and just waiting to have it fitted.
I found both Jamie and Dale to be lovely, honest lads. And the same flooring we chose was cheaper than we had seen elsewhere. I would highly recommend them as they had already been recommended to us by my sister.

Numerous occasions I have been to franks at ryhope in Sunderland. Each time I have been served by Graham. He is so friendly polite and professional. Nothing is a bother and he will always do his best to help you. He is always so pleasant and makes you feel welcome. I would just like to say what a great job he does. To be honest all the staff are nothing but helpful and Barbara who I spoke to on th phone was so lovely as well. Big thank you to Graham and everyone at franks.

Reasonable prices and fitting happened on time though £150 fitting for 1 room and stairs / landing seems a bit pricey?

Unfortunately on both occasions all the cut off pieces of carpet and underlay were left behind for us to have to dispose of (this means it goes to council tip and the taxpayer covers the cost of its disposal )

Great flooring companies remove all their junk

Mal at the coulby newham branch was superb, we had a problem with the carpet we ordered and both him and his colleague helped resolve in half an hour. Helping me choose an alternative carpet and been extremely patient with me in what was a stressful situation. I would definitely recommend this branch and congratulations on having such helpful staff. We will be back for more carpets and definitely recommend to friends! Great job all round.

Huge choice of carpets and the friendly, professional advice from the staff. Slight fault in the carpet on delivery, which the staff noticed. The fitted the carpet and then replaced it when the new carpet arrived. Alan and his fitters did an excellent job. Will certainly recommend and will use again
