Excellent trip to Skjervoy, well organised and given a thorough briefing of how to prepare for the arctic. Friendly bunch, felt very welcome and had a great time.

I went on a trip with Steve to Norway to swim with orcas. I went with my dad and brother who have no dive experience, or their own gear. Steve has been nothing but helpful from start - finish. For months leading up to the trip, he has offered help and guidance to me and my family to ensure that we all get the most out of the trip and prepare properly to prevent any obstacles on the day of the dives. He is very experienced and can anticipate problems or mishaps before you know them yourself and will do his upmost to work with you to prevent it from happening. He has often picked up some passing remarks I have made about my kit / gear and the next day turns up with something that will help me, without me needing to ask. I seen him on the boat giving gear away and making other people comfortable before himself to ensure everyone is happy.

the trip in itself needs a whole other review. It was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. Within minutes / seconds of being on the boat I was in the water with orcas and at one point, surrounded my humpback whales. Not a minute went by where we didn’t see anything it was amazing, full of action and close encounters. I will go again in a heartbeat.

I recently completed an AIDA2 freediving course and it was an amazing experience! Steve tailored every aspect of the course (including flexible dates) to my needs, sharing his knowledge and passion for the ocean. I received plenty of personalised tips that really helped me improve. I finished the course feeling confident and inspired. I will definitely return for training dives, courses and trips!

Amazing trip with Steve and Apneists UK to freedive with the seals at the Farne Islands! Really pleased to have ticked this off my bucket list thanks to this trip. A well-run experience with a great group, catered to every ability and confidence level. Absolutely incredible to see these beautiful creatures up close in the water, this might be my all-time favourite dive trip. Thank you Steve and Apneists UK :)

Apneists UK are the go to place for freediving training in both pool and open water as well as excursions such as swimming with sharks and seals!

I have had the opportunity to work with Apneists UK a few times, and I couldn't recommend them enough. They are professional, knowledgeable, understanding and flexible.
