Accepted my order and then several days later, it was cancelled because they did not have sufficient stock… at least they gave me a prompt refund

Great on price and delivery speed; however it was a fairly expensive and fragile item that came simply in a box with no padding or protection. I think it was very lucky it didn't get damaged in transit.

Love shopping with smaller companies and their selection of toys, clothes and shoes is great. I made the mistake and contemplated too long which present to go for for my daughter and run out of time for normal delivery, which I only realised after placing the order. I left a message on their chat box and they came back to me the next day and changed the delivery type (standard to next day)! Was super impressed with their prompt response and solution - great customer service all round. I will definitely buy from them again.

I made an order after seeing a post on their Facebook page with an offer on. I ordered a few things, some of which were Frugi and I used a Frugi discount code which knocked off £2.25 off my order (total being £41.65). I had £50 budget for these Christmas gifts so I was pleased I'd managed to get.

I then get an email telling me that 'as per the social post that the discount code was only valid on full price so did I want to pay the extra or get a refund'. I was slightly perplexed as I didn't remember seeing anything about this when I ordered, and I asked how much it was & how to pay it along with a short message of saying I didn't really think it was fair I couldn't use it.

I then received this reply (copied & pasted) 'The post clearly states full price items only, so it’s not unfair but simply the t’s and c’s. The items you ordered are in our £5 sale which is already an incredible bargain, we can’t afford to give 35% off again as a small business.' And then I emailed again asking how to pay the extra money so I could get my items.

I went back onto the Facebook post I had seen and unsurprisingly the post had been edited to say you can't use on sale items at 7.22am (my order confirmation arrived at 7.25am so clearly done during checkout or after I'd ordered). I emailed informing of this, because to make out like I had knowingly used a discount code that was 'clearly' stated couldn't be used for sale items to then find out there was an edit felt back handed! Gaslighting at its finest.

I then get a reply saying 'Yes I did edit the post at 7.22am before the you ordered. I was doing this sale / post very early whilst trying to get myself and the kids ready for the day, spinning many plates as a working single mum so some kindness and understanding would be appreciated. I'll cancel your order and you can place it again for ease :)' and I got a cancellation email separately. Well I was absolutely furious because then I had to wait for a refund, and didn't have the money to reorder. I had asked twice how to pay the extra like she had first mentioned and never got an answer.

I emailed back saying that although I can relate to being a single working mum I was disappointed with how she dealt with it. I explained I didn't have the money to reorder and was upset after asking twice how to pay. I didn't say this next bit to her but to be honest throwing that in there felt like some kind of way to try & guilt trip me, I say this as someone who is a single working mum of 3.

Then I get this reply 'As I said Cancelling and you reordering was the simplest way to pay, sorry if that wasn’t clear :)'

Which is funny considering in the beginning she asked if I wanted to pay the extra or get a refund. And the sarcastic smiley faces have not gone down well. A friend kindly reordered the items for my baby but I'll leave them to review their experience, this is mine. Ultimately.. unprofessional, rude, unapologetic & have unsubscribed. Will not be ordering from them again and will be supporting small businesses who actually care for the people they're selling products to.

I paid £9.95 for 24 hour tracked and it arrived almost a week later

Items were dispatched fast and received quickly. Great packaging. Would order again.
