We used French exams to support our son in the run up to his French GCSE. Amelie was very responsive and quick to work with us to find a tutor and at times that works for us. My son had lessons with Clelia. She was familiar with the board and my son (not a natural linguist!) enjoyed the lessons, found them helpful and they really built his confidence in time for his exam. We couldn't have asked for more.

My son has very much enjoyed his French tutoring. He has made great progress and gained so much confidence. A huge thank you to Anthony his tutor. It’s been a great experience- Fabian has improved a number of grades.

We had a wonderful experience with French-Exams.com. Amélie coordinated everything beautifully from the start, Caroline handled the administration smoothly, and Doriane was Maya’s patient and skillful tutor. The setup felt seamless because all of the organisational details were taken care of so that Doriane and Maya could simply focus on the lessons themselves.

Maya genuinely loved her lessons. Over time, I saw a real shift — not only in her confidence with the language, but also in her enthusiasm for French culture more broadly. She can now have a conversation!

The exams themselves were challenging, as expected, but Maya felt well prepared going into them. What feels even more valuable to me, though, is that I think she will continue learning French without the push of IB exams, which is probably the strongest endorsement I can give.

Lisa was very kind and also always prepared good quality tasks for me. She was also very adaptable to my current French needs such as a surprise speaking test or writing and was also very patient. Highly recommended.

Equally impressive was the organization behind French Exams. Communication was always prompt and reliable; any scheduling requests or changes were handled immediately and with great flexibility. Even additional lessons could be arranged without complication, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

Overall, we were completely satisfied and can wholeheartedly recommend French Exams to anyone seeking top-tier preparation for IB French. A truly excellent service.

Thank you to all at French Exams who made this a very positive experience for my son. His teacher, Aline, was outstanding in her genuine interest and care during his time learning from her. Lessons were conducted professionally with adherence to the curriculum of the IB exams. I can say with confidence my son's French ability greatly benefited from these sessions. After each lesson, the follow up email was impeccable with lesson recordings, summary of outcomes or progress, and links and resources for some homework/practice before the next lesson. When we wanted to readjust the schedule on occasion, the teacher and organization were very accommodating. I also commend Amelie and the administration team for their support during this time. Aline, has been teaching our son the IB curriculum. He has learnt more with Aline than in the past years in school or with other tutors. Aline cares about the students progress. Her emails after every session, summarizing the session, is written in depth and gives such an insight into her sessions. She is not just a teacher, checking off a box, she is wonderful person, who teaches the student as if he were the only student she has - with such dedication and love. Thank you Aline, we are grateful.

I had a few lessons with Marion, one of the tutors and it really improved my French - I was able to hold conversations in French and was corrected when I made mistakes. Each week, I was given optional homework to follow up what we did in the lesson. Amélie was also very helpful. Would 100% recommend for people wanting to brush up on their French.

I just wanted to say thank you for being such an amazing tutor to Alanna. She has thoroughly enjoyed all of her sessions and always comes away with such positive things to say about you and Marine.

One of the best private tutor teachers I have ever met - got me up from a grade 6 to a 9 over the course of 2 years. Extremely friendly, and actually caring too! Sorry it took me ages to write this review but thanks Amelie

My son had Marion for just over a year she was absolutely fantastic for him. She always encouraged him in such a positive way. When he started he was particularly unconfident with the French oral, by his mocks he was absolutely flying. They did lots of written practice too so by the time he had his actual exam he was totally confident. He got a very strong 9 . Huge thank you to Amelie who was super helpful and to Marion for all her patience and hard work !

Etienne structred his lessons and teaching according to my daughter’s needs as an individual. He was clearly extremely knowledgable on all subjects and shared his knowledge in a very engaging manner. My daughter struggles to stay focused but did not struggle during Etienne’s lessons as all feedback she received felt useful. Etienne was very good at working at my daughter’s pace, giving her time to take notes, ask questions and give answers.
I highly recommend Etienne as an IB French tutor!

Amelie was very supportive, patient and excellent with her tuition.The service was very efficient and really helped my daughter.

He had tuition for around 9 months. He had Camille for the last 3 months as his prior tutor went on maternity leave. The thought Camile was excellent.

The service was very efficient, at home and responsive. I felt it really helped

He improved significantly and got a 8. More importantly he was confident speaking in French abroad and was much more positive about his abilities.

My daughter and I are so pleased we found french-exams tutoring to help in the months before her A level exam. Amelie really took the time to get to know what support she really wanted and matched her with Camille. Camille was amazing - my daughter really enjoyed the sessions and even after a long day studying found the sessions hugely rewarding and incredibly positive for building her confidence both in speaking and in essay planning. Camille worked really hard with her on all aspects of the speaking exam and my daughter went into the exam feeling confident. We are really hopeful of a good result in August and would highly recommend this tuition. Communication from both Camille and Amelie was always timely and helpful and they were always both available to support when needed. Thank you so much!

Camille has been fantastic and help my children achieve really good grades - My daughter is year 10 and she got a predicted 9 for year 11 and my son is year 11 - really good results throughout the year. Waiting for GCSE results. Camille is very organised and experienced; focusing on the needs for each child as appropriate - kind, helpful, prepares classes consciously to target what really needs improvement and really positive resources after each lesson. Very experienced as well with the exam board and the exam techniques!
From and admin perspective, Amelie is fantastic as well. Very responsive, organised and flexible if there are challenges that need resolving. We are continuing the tutoring with Camille for my daughter's GCSE and my son's A-levels. Thanks for all your help!

My son needed help with French for his A’levels and we have been very pleased with the support he received from Luke and Amelie. I would highly recommend them. Firstly Amelie took the time to understand his requirements and then partner him with a tutor with whom he would engage. He really enjoyed the sessions with Luke, never complaining after a long day that he had his tutor. He found the sessions very helpful in building up his confidence and improving his technique. His final A’level took place today so we don’t know his grade but regardless he was given the tools to maximise his potential.

Juliette has been an amazing and dedicated French teacher- she went above and beyond for preparation of the IB French and was always very compassionate and helpful.
Amelie, has been phenomenal in the organization and overseeing the whole process in a smooth and seamless manner.
