This was a great tour. We saw many bears. The driver Jim was great, Very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and would stop as long a needed for pictures. He could spot animals from far away and we never missed an opportunity. The meals on board were great and very filling. We were totally satisfied with this tour and would highly recommend it for others to enjoy.

Churchill was one of the most fascinating places I have ever visited. The wildlife was incredible and the staff and guides were terrific. I did a summer visit to Churchill and look forward to going back in high bear season.

He presented a smooth efficient wonderfull opportunity to see veiw many polar bears and local birdlife.

A new experience in a unique environment. Fascinating landscapes and wild life. The whole trip was an adventure well worth the time and resources to make it happen.

Our Tundra Buggy experience with Frontiers North Adventures was truly unique. It gives you the opportunity to venture deep into the natural landscape around Churchill and observe the incredible local wildlife in its own environment.

Our driver made the experience even more enjoyable. He was hilarious, kept us entertained throughout the trip and shared all kinds of fascinating and funny stories about the area, its wildlife and life in the North.

A fantastic adventure that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Churchill!

Our guide Jim was so knowledgeable about local wildlife and shared many stories. We got lucky seeing a polar bear, fox kits, as well as a variety of birds. The buggy seats themselves were comfortable and lunch was tasty and filling (soup & sandwich).

The Conservation Beluga tour was incredible. We saw lots of Belugas and loved kayaking with them. We were also very fortunate to see Polar bears as well. Our guides and speakers were very knowledgeable and up to date with research in the area. Loved it!

We had a great time! I really wouldn't change a thing with the itinerary! We were most interested in the beluga whales, and we had great outings with them! I mean, the experience was other worldly! Just to be surrounded by the grey and white, happy creatures was amazing! The other outings---the tour of Churchill and surrounding areas, the visit to the sled dog musher, the museum visit, PBI were all very interesting. Seeing the bear on the last day was the icing on the cake! Mark was a great, knowledable guide and Tim was an awesome driver. We really got lucky with our group...we had a blast getting to know everyone!

The only suggestion I have is for Sea North to have a more updated and complete first aid kit.

We had a great time in our Summer Tundra Buggy tour with Jim. A good guide is key. He had lots of good stories and excellent information about the tundra, birds and bears.

I did extensive research before choosing Frontiers North, and I am so glad I visited in July and was able to see the wildflowers in bloom, have an extraordinary encounter with the Beluga whales, and see a polar bear along the coast. I can't say enough about the staff, guides, and accommodations. This was a perfect trip, and I plan to visit again during the autumn season for Polar Bear season. Don't hesitate to book!

Excellent trip on tundra buggy. Saw a polar bear with 2 cubs which was an incredible experience. Also saw a cariboo and numerous tundra birds. Our driver was knowledgeable and interesting. The buggy was about half full and comfortable. There was cookies with hot drinks in the morning and a lovely lunch of sandwiches and homemade butternut squash soup.

Frontiers North created the perfect Churchill experience for us. We had an amazing time getting close up with hundreds of beluga whales and even got a couple of polar bear sightings. Our guide Mark went above and beyond to make all of our Churchill dreams come true!

We really enjoyed our trip on the Tundra Buggy. Jim was very knowledgeable, entertaining. The food was a really nice
plus! Great soup. Disappointed not to see bears, but delighted to see caribou, hares, cranes, eagles and other bird life.

Our Tundra Buggy tour with Jim aboard Buggy 9 was a true delight. As the first Wildlife Management Area tour of the season, we enjoyed seeing a wonderful variety of birds and several Arctic hares. Jim is incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife of the region and shared fascinating insights throughout the day. He was especially interested in checking whether some of the bird nests he monitors had returned for the season, which made the experience feel like a genuine wildlife expedition.
Although we didn't spot a polar bear (too early in the season), Jim did everything he could to maximize our chances, taking us far into the Wildlife Management Area. Exploring such a remote landscape was an adventure in itself and we never felt disappointed. The lunch served onboard was delicious and a welcome part of the experience.

We went to Iceland a couple of years ago to try to catch the Northern Lights and had bad luck with cloudy skies - got nothing. Decided to try Churchill and did the 7-day itinerary at the end of February. From the introductory welcome dinner to the farewell dinner, everything was planned to perfection. We met our guide, Jeff H, and three other couples at the welcome dinner. In Churchill, we were lucky enough to have Alex C and Ray F accompany us for many of our excursions and share their knowledge and expertise with us. Ross P drove us to all our meals and excursions and was always careful to pick us up and drop us off in the safest and least-slippery spots. We saw the aurora every night with varying degrees of intensity. We even saw a meteor, something worth boasting about for sure! The great thing about the itinerary was the opportunity to also learn about and interact with some of the indigenous peoples of Churchill. The package price covered everything except alcohol so there was no need to worry about extra costs except for souvenirs and other small purchases. We were well fed - all meals and snacks were included and delicious. The food and staff at Ptarmigan were wonderful and the dinner we had at Dan’s Diner was an amazing and unforgettable culinary experience. The hotel was a bit older but served its purpose well and always had complimentary self-serve coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available. Churchill is the coldest place I’ve ever been so take advantage of the gear rental program, it will make the evening activities more comfortable (even though you can always go indoors to warm up as needed). We enjoyed ourselves so much on this trip with Frontiers North and are planning to return at some point to experience the polar bear and whale watching during the overlap period. Thanks to Frontiers North for taking such good care of us and for the wonderful picture opportunities and memories!

In February we booked a tour for October this year. We have not yet done the tour but both my partner and I have sent numerous emails to this company asking simple questions and requesting clarification on a few points prior to booking in flights from the UK and accommodation around the tour. We have not had responses. My last email to them, via their contact us tab, direct to both a named person and the CEO which was sent 10 days ago, has not yet been responded to.
This tour is not cheap and at the price we will have paid, we would expect a much better level of communication.
This one star review is for the current level of poor communication. I hope the tour itself will redeem our experience of this company and if it does, I will be happy to amend the review accordingly.
