Sometimes picky dogs can be tricked by crumbling up the chews and sprinkling on their kibble. Sounds like you hid it in his wet food and he ate it.

Not to worry, as long as it was eaten, he will receive all the nutrients. Form factor does not matter.

With the more stubborn one, try crumbling up the chews and sprinkling on her kibble to trick her into eating healthy ;)
