This company does the opposite of financing your future rather enslaves you into debt beyond imagination. The worst is when you are hoping to pay up quickly within two years, you still end up paying almost double of what is borrowed. They have no sense of empathy considering their target market, is all business all business to the end.
I know you may not have a choice hence why you want to borrow from them, I will advice you explore every other option.

I found Future - Finance very professional in the way they kept me up to date on everything, and the way they handled my student finance.

If I could leave negative scores i would. GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.
Worst company I have ever worked with. Keep telling me I'm in arrears and calling me every single month without fail.messed about with payment dates causing missed payments. Set up a payment plan they agreed to then chased me saying it was never agreed (even though I have the emails) been making over repayments for months then get phone call saying o am in arrears, turns out they have been applying 2 payments to 1 loan and not 2 loans resulting in arrears on one of the loans and severely crippling my credit score. Same problem every.single.month. I send bank statements and emails to show my payments are bring made in full and on time every month and am always told sorry for the inconvenience it won't happen again. Then same thing next month. Avoid at all costs. Staff can be downright rude collections department are slightly better to deal with bit situation has never been sorted. Cant wait until I can get rid of them

I was a guarantor for a loan from future finance and I just cannot understand where all of these four and five stars ratings are coming from. If you are struggling financially and you have no large sums of money coming to you as a legacy then you should think long and hard before you take out a loan with this company.

They will push the idea that you only have to repay £20.00 per month but they don't make it clear enough that all accumulated interests will have to be repaid. I can also say that some of there staff members can be very rude and dismissive if you try to get help from them when the growing balance starts to get out of all proportion. We were left with no alternative but to borrow from another source to pay off the future finance loan that was starting to get out of hand. I am so relieved that I was able to be get out of my commitment with them as the situation could've definitely driven us into a dire financial plight. You have been warned, so unless you're able to clear your debt within two years then you could be better off not taking that loan. What is the point in being very nice when you're asking people to sign and then when they get into trouble you're quick to tell them that they signed and therefore they cannot get out of their debt unless they can find every penny to clear the balance. I'm so glad that we're free from any commitment to future finance. If you can't clear your debt in about two years then think long and hard before you enter into any loan agreement with them. Be warned because some of their front line staff are very rude and will think nothing of misquoting your comments. E Haslam

finance you're asking me to provide more information i find your request to be rather confusing as you've not said what additional information you would like me to provide. Your records should show that i have been a guarantor to a loan that you financed and that the said loan was settled in August of 2020. If you'll let me know what additional information you require i will gladly help you. My intention is not to seek to be vindictive but to help you appreciate the importance of transparency especially when you're dealing with people in particular students who are cash strapped in our current financial climate. I do hope that this will go further in helping you adopt a better way of conducting your business in the future. You should realize that more often than not a young person with serious financial challenges will say yes and sign many promise if it means that they will get the help that they are needing to help their situation at the time. It is very important that people are made to understand without a doubt the full consequences before you help them to jump in the fire.

Great service, really helpful when needed. Never waited to long for them to answer phone. All in all, really easy and very satisfying.

I cannot wait until the payments are complete because this financial company cannot sort out the accounts of their users properly.
All my payments are up to date and I also have had payment holidays. I know what is being paid as I am on direct debit. This company says I am in arrears based on a direct debit they are in control of. My direct debit has not changed and that is not my fault. DO NOT THREATEN ME WITH CREDIT SCORE NONSENSE. The only money that appeared to be missing was ONLY £18. Now that has been paid. Do not mess around with people during a pandemic and financial crisis.

Without Future Finance I would struggle to pursue my studies and work towards my dream career. Future Finance have been friendly, professional, swift and transparent throughout the application process. Thank you for supporting me!

Avoid this company at ALL costs

This company removed my last review for going against Trust Pilot guidelines. If telling the truth goes against those guidelines then I am guilty. The company contacted me to resolve things however I don't need to resolve things as I've experienced people who have been stung by this company before. They are as bad as a payday lender.

There is an article from the Save The Student website, warning people away from them too - Search for 'Save The Student Future Finance' as I am not allowed to post links here.

Here is an excerpt from the article - "At the time of writing (Jan 2020), their website advertises loans of up to £40,000 with an interest rate of 22.8% APR (variable). To put that into context, their homepage gives the example of a £5,000 loan for 108 months, which would result in a sizeable repayment of £13,691.13."

YOU WILL PAY BACK NEARLY TRIPLE WHAT YOU BORROW! PLUS THEY WILL WANT REPAYMENT BEFORE YOU GRADUATE! A government loan does not do this. You start paying that back AFTER you graduate and only when you are earning enough. This company will mess up your credit rating in future too, as they are targeting vulnerable students as they know they are skint!

Also search - 'This Is Money Future Finance' for more truth on this company.

Plastering their website with 5 star Trust Pilot reviews means nothing, especially as people can be paid to leave these reviews and Trustpilot seem to be all for the company's interests and NOT the consumer. I'm NOT suggesting FF are paying people for reviews but it has been known for companies to do this, so be aware!

Avoid this company at ALL costs. They claim to help when in fact, what they are doing is taking advantage of vulnerable students, who may not be able to get student loans off government bodies for various reasons. They also have non competitive interest rates and want students to start making repayments BEFORE graduation. This doesn't happen with government bodies. You start paying back AFTER you graduate and ONLY when you earn enough. Future Finance are bad for your credit rating. AVOID!!!! They have Trust Pilot on their website but it is NOT an indication of good service nor good lending practices.

Another good tip is to give any bad reviews you may have on their social media channels too as they are likely to remove bad reviews here!

The process was swift and seamless and the repayment plan is very manageable. All in all it is a great service.

I spoke with a lovely woman called Jullian. She was such a nice lady, she provided me with all the necessary information I needed and explained a number of new policies to me. She ensured that I understood and encouraged me in my studies. I hope she receives praise for this review because she was amazing.

Future Finance is extremely helpful and worked very quickly to support my financial needs. All documentation was carried out online which was extremely convenient and took minimum time.The communication from Future Finance team was very proactive, friendly and fast. Future Finance were really quick in responding to my application and processing it through the various stages. The instructions concerning which documents I needed to provide were also very clear. Future Finance is an excellent alternative to other forms of financing your education.

I applied for a student loan with future finance as I have already had a masters loan from student finance England. due to withdrawal from my course and applying for another course at a different university, I planned to get a private loan instead. I have a managerial job, a good credit score, etc but not one minute after applying for a loan through future finance I was declined. I just don't get it.

The process was seamless and excellent. Jillian explained everything to me over the phone and walked me through the repayment structure and terms and conditions. I asked a number of questions and Jillian answered them quickly and with what felt like real insight.

I took out a £3000 loan with them for postgraduate, all good. Unfortunately my husband has been made redundant twice in the last six months, so I'm now the sole earner in my household. Our income has literally been halfed. I spoke to FF initially and they refused me a payment holiday. Okay, but I can't pay. I am now four months in arrears to the tune of £160 and in a better financial position thanks to an inheritance payment, but I cannot get through to FF to pay them at all. I've rung them and I've emailed them. I'm now at risk of defaulting on my loan, but can't speak to a single human and THERE IS NO FACILITY TO MAKE A PAYMENT ON THEIR WEBSITE. I almost want this to go to a debt collector because at least I'd be able to speak to them!
