I would like to share my honest feedback about the curriculum based on my experience.

The curriculum is highly academic and subject-oriented, but it lacks practical relevance to real-world Data Engineering work. Most of the content focuses on theory, assignments, minor exams, major exams, and viva sessions rather than developing industry-ready skills.

As working professionals, we enrolled in this program expecting to gain practical knowledge that would help us perform better in our current roles and prepare us for Data Engineering interviews. Unfortunately, the course has been more about meeting assignment deadlines and preparing for exams than learning skills that are actually used in day-to-day projects.

Despite spending significant time on assignments, exams, and viva, many of us still struggle to clear Data Engineering interviews or confidently handle real-world scenarios in our organizations. The curriculum does not adequately cover practical topics such as production-grade data pipelines, cloud platforms, orchestration, optimization, troubleshooting, performance tuning, CI/CD, monitoring, and real business use cases that employers expect experienced professionals to know.

The continuous cycle of assignments, minors, majors, and viva created unnecessary pressure and stress, leaving very little time to focus on acquiring practical skills. It often felt like the program was designed primarily to satisfy academic requirements for an M.Tech degree rather than to help professionals become better Data Engineers.

For experienced professionals, the current curriculum is not aligned with industry expectations. An IIT degree certainly has value, but without practical, job-oriented knowledge and hands-on skills, the degree alone does not improve employability or career growth.

I strongly recommend redesigning the curriculum to focus more on:

* Industry-relevant projects based on real business scenarios.
* Hands-on implementation using modern Data Engineering tools and cloud platforms.
* Interview-oriented preparation and system design.
* Production-level troubleshooting and optimization.
* Less emphasis on repetitive academic assignments and examinations, and greater emphasis on practical learning and skill development.

I genuinely hope this feedback helps improve the program for future batches. The reputation of IIT is excellent, but the curriculum should also ensure that students graduate with the practical skills needed to succeed in the industry, not just with a degree.

The experience of completing my mtech from iit jodhpur was exceptional. Futurense organised the first year very well and i did not face any major challenge. Kudos to the futurense team especially to Nikhil for taking care of everything.

I really liked the way the focus was on explaining the whys and hows of AI rather than just tutoring about the tools. I feel confident with any new AI tool that will come in future, because I have learnt from the basics. And the kind of people i got to interact with in the batch really helped map out a new career track.

Teaching and syllabus is intense. Lots of project to understand things in realtime

I enrolled in the IIT Jodhpur Post Graduate Diploma Program, where Futurense Technologies provided the LMS and program support.

Overall, my experience was satisfactory. The LMS is easy to use, the UI is simple and not overly complicated, and the live classes were conducted smoothly without major technical issues. Some of the sessions were well taught, and a few classes by industry leaders provided useful insights.

However, the biggest disappointment was the placement support. During enrollment, placement assistance was presented as a key benefit, but in reality, it mostly consisted of sharing job openings that are already available on platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, and other job portals. I expected more structured support, such as resume reviews, interview preparation, recruiter connections, or dedicated placement opportunities.

Another area that needs improvement is the assignment submission process. There is often confusion about whether an assignment has been successfully submitted, as the LMS doesn't provide clear confirmation or tracking.

Overall, the learning experience and course delivery were decent, but the placement support did not meet my expectations. I would rate the experience as average, with room for improvement, especially in career services and LMS assignment tracking.

People make a company great. Futurence has a lot of very good and hard working people. They are patient with students and very passionate about their mission.

My experience with Futurense being part of IIT Roorkee was quite good. The faculty are knowledgeable and they make the concepts easy to understand. The weekend classes are easy to attend as I can continue working. It can be great choice if you wish to learn while you still can be working professional.

The experience with futurense was great. The futurense team supported me at each and every step to make sure that my admission process at IIT Jodhpur went smoothly.

I enrolled in the PGDE (Data Engineering) program, which was later upgraded to an M.Tech in Data Engineering at IIT Jodhpur. I'm happy to share that I successfully completed the program and earned my degree.

The faculty members at both IIT Jodhpur and Futurense were incredibly supportive throughout the journey. They not only helped me complete the program successfully but also ensured I gained the practical knowledge and skills required in the field.

Great initial help in the PGD course and then for the conversion in the MTech, no help was provided.

The advisor and the person to immediate contact were pro active and bridged the gap with IIT
Helped with the late submissions, also, of course, when the reason was genuine.

Since, long time I was looking for comprehensive datascience course that will give academic insights and practical knowledge. It is an exhaustive course that gives good overview of latest technology.Highly recommend for working professionals.

The program coordination was amazing. the choice of professors was good and got to learn a lot.
