I bought an Aston waterproof jacket from the Professional at our Golf Club towards the end of March this year. I'm delighted with the look and fit of the jacket which also sports our club logo. I have never worn the jacket in wet weather as I have another set of waterproofs (jacket and trousers) for such occasions. Instead I've just worn it a few times as a smart casual jacket when it was cooler, earlier in the year. After wearing the jacket for literally a handful of times I noticed that one of the letters (the last "N") of GALVIN GREEN which are attached to the left sleeve was starting to lift. Rather than wait until the letter fell off I took it back to our Golf Professional and sought a replacement jacket or repair. Now after many months I have the jacket back and I have been told that as the jacket is still waterproof there is nothing that can be done! I'm totally disgusted that Galvin Green do not think their lettering is an integral part of the jacket. Terrible service from a brand which I had respected. Our Professional is sympathetic (as is the sales representative who supplies the clothing) but they have reached an impasse as Galvin Green are adamant it's not a fault! Unbelievable.

Fantastic product and even better customer service! I've had a great experience from start to finish, and a special thank you to Fia, who went above and beyond to help. Friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was sorted.
I honestly don't understand the negative reviews here. My experience has been the complete opposite. I guess people who are happy with a product or service often don't take the time to write a review on Trustpilot, so I wanted to share mine.

My first waterproof GG jacket was a revalation. Could have been drenched with a hose and clothes underneath still dry. Bought another one a few years later same model and its frankly barely waterproof. GG was a premium product but now seemingly its edge has gone and just its premium price remains.

Poor customer services, £100’s spent on a waterproof jacket and only worn a few times. Lettering coming off after washing inline with their guidelines.

Shame I could not add a photo and show the defect.

Delivery by UPS was awful -took 12 days to arrive ( UK) they didn’t provide a required bar code, to ages to sort out, 3 trips to collection point 10 miles each way having to eventually return the items, same difficulty getting a bar code again. Galvin Green customer services were good, but somehow although I quaiified for free returns, they only gave me a partial refund! Would never order from Galvin Green again

I tried an item of clothing on the golf course which the agent admitted was not as warm or well fitting as the previous model. I complained about it but was told it could not be returned because I had worn it. No indication of customer service here!

Poor Online Service. I ordered a Waterproof for my Grandson on the 4th of November. UPS were meant to deliver it today but it has disappeared off tne System. The Tracking Number is 1Z68X8VODK66876296. Frustratingly I have messaged UPS who say that there is not a Tracking Number they recognise. I stayed in today to receive this parcel and I am so disappointed with this level of service. David

The Jacket was eventually delivered at 2:15 with the original window being before 12:00. The problem, to be fair, was more an UPs one than GC but either way it was very frustrating.

Bought a jacket to last and keep me dry. Zip has failed after maybe 40 wearings at most (although out of warranty). Given contact details by GG for a repair service but going to cost £75 plus p&p for new zip.

Ordered items on Sunday . Got message to say arriving Thursday then message to say delayed due to a mistake. Now arriving next week and asked Galvin Green to cancel order as they are outwith their agreed time for delivery. Refusing to refund until the items are back with them. I have no control over their couriers - they do so I’m at their mercy if they’re not delivered . Won’t be using them again. Nathalie in customer ‘support’ should be in a different industry as her attitude is awful

I purchased an Armstrong jacket at 2 am of a Saturday 11th Nov morning on the internet expecting that £299 purchase to reach me in 3 to 4 days but they don't start work until Monday ( to Friday) in the London Office. It was Delivered on Monday 20th after I complained. Feeble excuses of eurotunnel delay/Import problem and realisation on my part that this Company do not hold stock in the UK. It travels into the UK from Europe on order. The Office Manager's attitude of have a great day/weekend so blase'/indifferent. The jacket is good quality without doubt but the attitude of "They Galvin Green are doing me a favour allowing me to purchase from them" galvanised the fact that I will not buy in the future! Yes, efforts were made especially by UPS but honesty about delivery expectations should be clear on purchase!

I purchased Galvin Green waterproof jacket gloves hat and trousers at a cost of £500 plus from American Golf.
It is out of 2 year warranty and lining is coming away at the seam on sleeve and Galvin Green don’t want to know.
For huge cost they charge for products I feel this is disgusting, rubbish customer service from GG.
Products are not worth the money as they don’t last, Galvin Greens warranty is rubbish so I won’t be buying anymore of their products.
Their products are inferior compared with other cheaper brands and no issues

Company make great waterproofs with a “lifetime warranty”, however customer service is very poor!
Firstly how long is a “lifetime”? And then how long are people expected to keep receipts/ proof of purchase!

Be aware that if the product does fail then don’t expect any assistance from the company!

Bought a Galvin Green jacket which keeps the rain out but the jacket really sweats you so you end up wet anyway. Would never buy Galvin Green again!
