Poor delivery and service for a quality product
Having seen this company and it's prestige panels and Trellis mentioned on the RHS website I thought that although it was much more expensive than products I could buy locally it would be worth it for the quality of the wood and little extras like colour and careful production. However the first trellis that arrived was damaged at one corner (there was no padding for transportation placed around the corners so I can't blame the delivery company). Fortunately customer services were helpful in arranging a replacement but this has ruined our schedule for the summer garden project and planting. Despite the inconvenience and delay of 2-3 weeks there was no compensation offered. To be fair, I was sent an empty tin(!) as the extra tin of paint I had also ordered was bent and damaged on delivery. I believe that at the price point of the prestige trellis, the company should be ensuring their customers are really happy with the service. The trellis we finally received looks fine but for me definitely not worth the price and hassle.

Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry to hear you are unhappy with your experience with us. I have looked into this and can see that one of your panels was damaged in transit, which can happen on occasion, and we can only apologise for this. We do try and deliver as many orders as possible in our own vehicles to avoid this, but as you are nearly 300 miles away, it is quite difficult for us to do this and have to occasionally use external carriers who sadly do not take as much care as we would like with our products.
I understand we offered you a discount if you wanted to make good or have a replacement, and you opted for the replacement. I note your comment regarding the delays, however the Prestige painted panels have a 5-6 week lead time, but because we managed to get the original order to you much quicker than this, we managed to get the new replacement panel to you within this lead time.
We are very sorry to hear that you don't feel the quality of the panel met your expectations, we only ever receive positive feedback about our Prestige range, as they are handmade using joinery grade sanded smooth timber, with mitred corners and painted in our specialist paint shop to produce a smooth and consistent paint finish. We would be very grateful if you could let us know what it is about the panels that have not met your expectations as we are always looking to improve our products.
I am pleased to hear that our customer services team did not disappoint and I will pass your comments to them.
I do hope that you will be happy with your purchase once installed in your garden.
Quality Product
Good quality product which should mean it will last a long time. I believe in do it once do it well. I the long term this saves time and hopefully saves money.

Lovely finish on these trellises
I'm very happy with the quality of the finished product. The colour is just as expected and the two trellises I ordered look just right now they are in position. Worth the wait.
But a small issue over delivery - parcel left propped up at gate while we were on holiday - no attempt to leave under cover next to our main door which faces away from the road. Luckily, they were not taken!!

A very good quality product
A very good quality product and great customer service. However, the Iroko hit and miss trellis comes in dark and light shades which is fine as wood has variations of colour being a natural product. But I think there is a quality control issue, as the wood shades are very different, if you get panels in both light and dark shades so your panels look like a Zebra, surely you can make sure your panels are all a similar shade, especially as you charge a premium price.

We make every effort to ensure customers are aware what they are ordering online and the images on our site do clearly show these strong differences. As with all timber, once installed outside, they will weather down to a uniform silvery grey. I am pleased to hear that overall you are pleased with your purchase and the quality of your panels.

after a previouse order last year where the quality was decent i purchaced more this year for the otherside of the garden unfortunately this time it looked like the person building them didnt give a ####! staples sticking out, built wonky rough patches, will try somewhere else next time. On the plus side this time they come with some touch up paint.

Perfect dimensions
The trellises had the exact specified dimensions, we put them up on our balcony and we are very happy with them.
Why not 5 stars:
- the wood looked a bit weathered (almost a little mossy?) and one of the beams was splintered
- the deliverers did not help get them upstairs where we live, so I had to carry them up 5 flights of stairs by myself one by one. To be fair, this company are not alone in offering an imperfect delivery experience.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your products. Unfortunately as you have not provided an order number or your name I am unable to look into this for you to see if you have already contacted us, however I suspect that the 'mossy' appearance you are referring to is the green of the tanalising which will weather down once exposed to UV in your garden. We do refer to this in our T&C's.
We make every effort to ensure customers are made aware of our delivery policy prior to ordering, and state in multiple places that we only offer a kerbside delivery, although our drivers are usually helpful and will take the items to the property if it is accessible, they are not insured to go through properties or up flights of stairs which is why we make sure customers are aware of this prior to placing their order.

Very expensive but nobody does trellis work like this.
The initial quotation was incorrect and too high despite them having received a detailed scale drawing, for which I received an apology from the responsible person.
The survey and installation team were excellent.

I have investigated this for you, and can see that we provided a quotation for you based on the drawing dimensions, and had not realised you were not covering the entire run length quoted. When providing any quotation we do always ask that you check that we have interpreted your requirements correctly, which in your case we hadn't and you told us and we revised the quotation as requested.

Had two separate orders from Garden Trellis company . Both arrived on time, well packaged & in excellent condition. The trellis was top quality , far better than any I have seen in garden centres & B&Q. Looks fantastic now it’s installed. I would highly recommend this company .
