Got the Set Adora washer and Dryer. The dryer stopped working after 4 loads of clothes!! Sending a propane dealer to look at my electric dryer. Not impressed at all!!

3 brand new appliances, 2 have problems! Getting in touch with Bodewell is a nightmare! Repairman was sent for stove and refrigerator but he knew nothing about refrigerators!!! First 2 appointments no one showed up!!!
I had a scheduled service appointment…
I had a scheduled service appointment with Bodewell with an 8:00 AM–12:00 PM arrival window, and I took time off work to be available.
At 10:15 AM, I received a single missed call from a No Caller ID number. The phone never rang, there was no voicemail, and there was no callback number.
At 10:25 AM, I then received a call from Bodewell stating that my appointment had already been canceled, followed immediately by a text message confirming the cancellation.
I was later informed that the technician assigned to my appointment was Rob, and I was told that Rob claimed he attempted to reach me several times. This statement is not accurate and is not supported by my call log, messages, or voicemails.
At no point did I receive:
A text stating Rob was on the way
A text or call stating Rob had arrived
A voicemail from Rob
Multiple calls from Rob or any identifiable phone number
The only possible contact from Rob appears to be the single No Caller ID missed call, which did not ring, did not leave a message, and provided no follow-up.
Given that I had an active appointment window, had already taken time off work, and received no proper notice from Rob, I had no reasonable opportunity to respond or know a technician was attempting to reach me. Canceling the appointment under these circumstances is unprofessional and unfair and should not be treated as a customer no-show.
This reflects a serious breakdown in communication and an inaccurate account of contact attempts by technician Rob. Very disappointing experience.
The absolute worst appliance repair…
The absolute worst appliance repair company ever. Opened a request for repair of an appliance under warranty with GE over two months ago.
Before even coming to my home to evaluate the appliance, they sent random parts to my house without even communicating with me, and of course, the parts weren't for my machine and didn't work. We had to sit with a large box in our house for weeks.
Next, they sent a tech out who couldn't do anything and said he needed a part that he would order and contact us back to install. We waited and waited for weeks, but he never called.
A month later, they sent someone else out unannounced, unscheduled, and of course, since they hadn't scheduled anything, no one was home.
So we called and scheduled an actual appointment, and they sent someone out with no part and no clue what was needed, further delaying the repair.
Meanwhile, we have an appliance that is under warranty that hasn't worked in over 2 months because of this joke of a company.
Terrible products – no replacement parts when they break
I purchased an entire suite of monogram kitchen appliances. Except for the stove top, every other appliance has broken. The oven electronics broke quickly and had to be repaired at great expense. The electronics on the Atvanta microwave also went on the fritz and the spring on the door snapped. The replacement spring mechanism is no longer made and they could not repair the door. Then the lights and fan went out on the vent. Same story, part is no longer made to repair the appliance. At the time they broke they were four and seven years old. Disgraceful that they don't keep parts. The products are supposed to be high-end and but are total crap.
Useless Steam Clean Function False Advertising
I purchased a GE oven specifically because it was marketed with a “Steam Clean” feature that strongly implies self-cleaning capability. This feature materially influenced my purchase decision. In practice, it does not clean the oven in any meaningful way. Baked-on grease and residue remain after use, making the feature effectively useless.
This is not a matter of preference or misuse. The feature simply does not perform as a reasonable consumer would expect based on GE’s marketing and product descriptions. At no point was it clearly disclosed that “Steam Clean” is not comparable to a traditional self-cleaning oven.
I contacted GE Appliances multiple times to resolve this issue. Rather than acknowledging the misleading nature of the feature, customer service framed the problem as user expectation or normal limitation and refused to offer a replacement, refund, or meaningful remedy.
This is a premium appliance, and a core advertised feature does not function as represented. GE has failed to stand behind its product or its marketing claims.
I am documenting this publicly after unsuccessful attempts to resolve the matter directly. I am still seeking a fair resolution and would welcome contact from GE’s customer care escalation team.
If you are considering this oven because of the “Steam Clean” feature, be aware that it is not a self-cleaning oven in any practical sense.
DO NOT PURCHASE GE PROFILE
After waiting 1.4 hours into the 5 hour wait time, the service man canceled and rescheduled me 3 weeks out because he did not bother to look at what needed to be done and didn't have the right equipment. It is impressive that a repair company can't carry the equipment or at least look before getting in his truck to see what is required. Then to rebook without consulting the customer is insulting. I have a 10 month old Profile wall oven that has malfunctioned twice now. And GE and Bodewell are unprofessional in solving the problem. The digital board and 5 other parts need to be replaced again. they should just give me a new oven, admitting it is a lemon!!!!! I have had Profile appliances for years, but GE is no longer reliable and then they use Bodewell which is a joke.
Bad service from GE agent BODEWELL
In NJ I have to use Bodewell for repairs. My gas stove needed a valve & a control panel overlay decal. First visit was to assess needs and order parts. This was ok and I paid by cc. One week later they arrived very late for the repair and did the valve but not the overlay decal. I spike to the tech directly (# from previous text) and he assured he would return a week later to do the overlay. He did not return. I could not get through to Bodewell (AI bot phone system). I emailed their service dept and no response. Now I have disputed the cc payment for the second visit. Hoping that will jolt them to finish the job. I hope GE sees this and gets on them for very poor service. As a result I am done with GE! appliances.

I am not convinced that the Boswell technicians are qualified for the job. My experience suggests they are more interested in making quick money than providing proper service.
I scheduled a repair appointment for my GE dryer. The technician spent less than five minutes, charged a fee, and left without fixing or properly diagnosing the issue. The technician appeared rushed and did not thoroughly check the appliance.
Based on this experience, I would not use this company again. This was, without question, one of the worst service experiences I have had.

My GE dishwasher stopped working after minimal use, and this is frustrating—after buying something, it shouldn’t fail within just two or three years. The product lacks durability. I would avoid GE appliances at all costs; their customer service is horrendous—Nicole acted like I had used her own money to buy it, belittling me over the phone instead of helping. I can’t wait to get rid of all my GE appliances.

I purchased 5 GE appliances (Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Stove, Oven & Microwave), and all installed in late 2019. Unfortunately, every single one has required repair, including my high-end GE Profile counter-depth refrigerator, which has experienced consistent cooling failures since 2022.
Despite multiple service visits, the same refrigerator issue has recurred over and over, indicating a defect that was never properly fixed. The time, cost, and frustration involved—especially with a premium-priced appliance—have been extremely disappointing.
Based on my experience, I would NEVER purchase GE appliances again and cannot recommend them to others.
Service is terrible
Service is terrible. They have now cancelled 2 visits, and after 2 weeks are saying they don't have the part. So why then did you call me twice to set up tech visits. Someone doesn't have their story straight. IAM a 3 time GE customer, 10 appliances in total. Last two sets were profile. Next set won't be GE.

This company should be investigated by the BBB. Each time they come to repair my dryer, it is worse. Techs are more interested in hurrying up and leaving then doing a good job. The absolute worst company.
I will make sure to never buy a GE product as long as GE contracts their service to Bodewell.
Knowledgeable Technician
Easy to schedule an appointment. Jarrod arrived promptly as scheduled, called 15 minutes prior to his arrival. He quickly determined what the problem was with our dishwasher door and repaired it. He also asked if we were cleaning the filter every 3 months and we didn’t know anything about it. He showed us how to do it. He was a pleasure to have in our home for a service call.

We purchased our GE dryer 2/11/25. On November 9 it stopped working . We called the warranty service and they said they cld get someone out a week later. While that was not quick, we were patient. Then they called and cancelled and said no one could come out until November 25th! He came out and diagnosed it and said it needed a part that he didn’t have. The part was supposed to come on December 1st and tech guy would come out that day and fix it. Then we got a call on 11/28 saying the part was delayed and can’t get anyone to come out until December 4th! Almost a month later! This is unacceptable.. I have a family of five! No dryer! When we called customer service for their warranty (bold well) they told us there is NOTHING they can do about it. I could have already had someone out and fixed it by now. Customer service and service has been unacceptable. I called the customer service number and they transferred me to another department where I spoke with a lady who told me there was nothing they could do to expedite our service date. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she told me that she was it. After I pressed more she then transferred me to the “home delivery” department where obviously was not correct. I believe, she did that just to get me off of the phone. Someone came to "fix" the problem today and it is STILL NOT working! Today is 12/4 which is 5 days shy of when this began. I will NEVER buy another GE appliance again due to the unreliability of both product and service. I am utterly disappointed as we decided to go with a “reputable” company instead of a newer company.

Wish I could give a zero. We bought a GE range two years ago and have had problems consistently in that time. Last night the knob jammed and gas pouring into our house. This is a huge health and safety issue. It was dangerous! GE does not care. Their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. They just repeat over and over that the appliance is no longer under warranty. Of course in the first year when I called repeatedly about all of the problems we were having with the range, they also said that the warranty would cover nothing. This appliance is a piece of garbage. It has been a piece of garbage since day one. The oven bakes and roasts unevenly at best (like half a tray of food can be well roasted and the other half close to raw), the flames on the burners are all out of whack coming up high on one side of the pot and not on the other, the electrical panel is cracking and peeling off, the finishes on the stove are scraping off. It's only two years old and it's ready for the garbage. Honestly it was ready for the garbage the day it was delivered. These appliances are terribly made and GE customer service is terrible, awful, useless. Never buy a GE. I wish we had read these reviews before purchasing.
This is the absolute worst
This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I had my oven stop working In October, and after 3 failed appointments and being jerked around by a useless technician, the customer relations department can do nothing to help me except reschedule more appointments. I want a new oven. I will never buy GE again. I am livid.

I recently worked with GE customer service regarding an issue with my plastic wheels melting on my dishwasher. I worked with a person named Shelly. I just wanted to express my gratitude for the support I received. Shelly was amazingly responsive to my Emails and I received a new and improved lower basket with wheels in just a few days. I don’t think I’ve ever received replies and solutions this quick from any other customer service. Because of this service, I will definitely buy GE appliances in the future. All appliances break down and will have a probability of parts/electronics/manufacturing defects. It is good to know that if you go with GE and experience one of these problems, they will respond and make it right.

I wish I could give them a zero! This has been the absolutely worst company I have ever dealt with! The technicians haven’t been able to figure out how to repair my refrigerator after 7 weeks!!! I keep having to wait for parts to be delivered, and then wait longer for a technician appointment. Bodewell has no clue how to schedule technician appointments. I have to call several times a week to figure out whether they are coming that week or not. Once I got a text the day AFTER an appointment was supposed to happen, telling me that the appointment was cancelled. Ridiculous. Today their arrival window was between 8 am and 12 pm, and guess what??? After I called to see where the technician was they told me that he actually won’t be there until this afternoon. I have wasted so many days waiting around for Bodewell, and I still don’t have a working refrigerator after 7 weeks. Total incompetence.
