GOT INTO MY COMPUTER AND WHEN I TRIED TO CLOSE THEM OUT THEY STARTED DELETING THING ON MY DESKTOP. I PULLED THE PLUG TO SHUT MY COMPUTER OFF BEFORE THEY GOT INTO MY PROGRAMS. I WAS ABLE TO RETRIVE MY DESKTOP WITH A LITTLE WORK.
HOW CAN COMPANY GET BY WITH THIS?

This “company “ is a fraudulent enterprise that preys on unsuspecting folks by using Geek in their name to entice people to think they are actually Geek Squad. They are not. They will actually service problems with your device but will simultaneously install software that will render your machine useless unless you pay them $1490 for for bogus antivirus protection.
Unfortunately I fell for their scam but when I refused to pay my computer went dark. I used the Actual Geek Squad to get it running again.
These people are criminal extortionists.BEWARE!!!

Scam Scam Scam ,They took control of my computer and phone , they got into my bank account , they cleaned out both my bank accounts and left me overdrafted for over $400 on both accounts ,they hit both my bank credit cards and charged thousands of dollars on them , they hit up my Zelle account and charged $500 on it, they hit my paypal and made multiple crypto purchase and withdrawals all while hiding what they were doing on my computer with a blue screen that said not to stop the proccess , I hope they rot in H@ll

Beware! This company charged me $1290 for technical services under the name Geek Care making me believe it was the support package offered by Best Buy’s Geek Squad. They are not affiliated. When I had an issue and went to the local BB store, they discovered their SW on my system that allows them to remotely access your computer. The same Best Buy Tech Support program cost only $199. So I called to cancel the balance of my 4 year contract (10/10/23 to 10/10/27) and they won’t prorate a refund. When you call the support number, it’s like you’re calling someone’s house with conversations happening, TVs blaring etc. very unprofessional. Just be warned. I don’t recommend doing business with this firm.

I agree with the comments about this being a scam. They promised 24/7 service and they do not answer the phone, even though their app said that live agents were available. This is the second time I've tried to get help off hours. The first time this happened when I finally connected with an agent after several hours of trying I was told the reason for not answering my call was due to a network problem. The second time, it also took several hours to reach an agent. When I finally reached an agent I was told that she was on line with another customer for 3 hours. Obviously this means they are not staffed to provide the type of service they promised. I'm paying for premium service and the service I received was below average.

Complete CRIMINAL Scam. I had a printer issue. they than ran a script for over an hour and wanted me to pay $650 for their service. I said no. THEY THEN RAN A SCRIPT WHICH WIPED OUT WINDOWS. WHEN TRYING TO START WINDOWS I GOT A BLACK SCREEN. They would then hang up on me. Cost me $150 to fix and lost some data.

This is a know scamming organisation. They buy large ad campaigns on Google to target people looking for Geek Squad and then funnel them into an online scamming system.

They are known on Youtube (search for "Scammers PANIC After I Tell Them Their REAL Names") and net about 500'000 dollars a year in a 8 man operation.

Called to make an appointment with Geek Squad and was never corrected. Was told by James Agent ID A2674 that he had to log into my computer to make the appointment. Like an idiot I let him and in the process my screen started going black in and out. When I questioned James about WHY he was bringing my Amazon website up he hung up on me. So I had to lock all of my online accounts to keep AGENT JAMES ID A2674 from stealing my information!! SCAMMED!

It’s wild how comfortable these trash people are stealing money from elderly people who’ve worked their whole lives to get what they have. I’d be so embarrassed but I guess when you don’t have any morals or talent, this is what happens. They are not geek squad, they are scammers. Stop giving them your money! Just watch MidnightSB’s video on them on YouTube.

Service requested March 11. It's now April 24 with no issue resolution for canceling a contract. Dealing with these guys for 10 days thinking I was talking to Geek SQUAD. They never corrected me even when I mentioned my contract (which was ready for renewal). They sold me a 3 yr contract (better deal for 3 yrs). When I found out they were not Geek SQUAD & demanded contract cancellation I got masses of runarounds. 1st I could not cancel. 2nd a check was mailed. 3rd, Check returned to them wrong address (their error). 4th, check resent. Bottom line check never came. For 1 month they tell me they are working on it and now won't respond. Technician labored 8+ hours 3/13 trying to connect new printer to WiFi. I was sent a USB cable (took 4 days) that I didn't need. Day after I supposedly was connected to WiFi, printer gave message no WiFi connection. By then I realized this was not Geek Squad. I renewed my Geek Squad contract. They responded within an hour to call for service. They deleted everything Geek Care did and told me never to have contact with that company again. I am out 1288.00 with no solution in site. They even refused to respond to a State of Wisconsin consumer section lawyer about this. They installed stuff on my computer that my computer already had. Totally inept!
ADDENDUM....5/8, Have not received promised refund. They will not contact the attorney from the consumer protection section of Wi Dept of Ag, Trade, Consumer Protection. A complaint submitted also to Better Business Bureau, Texas office.
UPDATE 5/21. I just heard from the attorney for a state agency working on my complaint. It's unbelievable but Geek Care has never bothered to respond to 2 inquiries from the attorney. I am screwed out of my $$ and only hope a complaint with the Dallas branch of the Better Business Bureau will at least confirm their reference that Geek Care is not a certified company by the BBB. Wish I had the opportunity to have research that before getting involved iwth them.

Beware it is a scam website and theres a detailed video on youtube about how they scam people. Search for ‘scammers panic after i tell them their real names’ on youtube.

Known and unknown issues resolved. Robin was most helpful and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend the service to anyone seeking technical support for their computers. I discovered some helpful pointers about safe computing thanks to Robin.

I have delt with Jerry and Joseph and it has been a stress free situation. They get back to you and help you so fast I was shocked and they take so much time with you and it is easy to connect with them, when you get their service they give you all the info you need to get thru to them, If you are hacked like I was or need there assistance it is well worth the money to know they are there.

Dell refused to fix my computer. This company fixed it & made me very happy. They explained things & worked fast. I am pleased with their service. These guys should get a raise as good representatives of your company !
