Indra was very kind, had a comfortable car and was a safe driver. Amazing hospitality, we had delicious breakfast before our hike and glondor was a great guide for our hike

I did a 2d1n merbabu hike with Geo Indo Raya. I got picked up at my accommodations in the morning by Mr Ridwan and had a comfortable ride to merbabu. Was offered some hot drinks while i waited for my guide Mr Wendi for the hike- he made sure to pack everything i needed.

As we did the hike, Wendi would check in on me constantly, making sure the pace was good and comfortable. At rest stops he would check if i needed any snacks and water (all kindly provided and carried by team) and would allow me to take as many pictures as i wanted along the way.
Had packed lunch that was freshly cooked in the morning, tasted so amazing- carbs protein and vege all included!

During rest spots i was even offered a seat on their foldable chair they carried up, truly everything has been thought through, ensuring your comfort the whole way.

At the campsite, my huge tent was already set up (thanks to my porter too!) upon my arrival and i was given the chance to rest for the day. In the meantime, they were making hot drinks and some snacks-banana fritters+ fruits- they truly deep fry it on the spot. My tent was not far off from theirs so i felt very safe and the area was in a great location where im not too exposed to the winds unlike other locations (which can get really strong at night).

Subsequently took a walk during sunset and returned to have dinner and rest for the night. Dinner was freshly made too, hot soup was extremely good in the cold weather and everything was so tasty!

We set out early in the morning for the summit and Wendi even brought along a wind blanket to help shield me during the hike up and at the summit which was a great great help because i was freezing haha! I spent plenty of time at the summit watching the sunrise and soaking it all in. I could decide when to leave, making it all feel very relaxed and not rushed at all.

The descend gave me the time to really take pictures and enjoy the environment. Wendi was patient with me, letting me snap about a thousand photos of everything and even offered to take some for me LOL!

On top of being so well fed with their cooked meals, they even prepared a full goodie bag full of snacks and water for you! you truly dont have to pack any on ur own as the team has got you covered.

The whole hike ended off with a solid meal at a restaurant and a comfortable ride back to my accommodations.

As a solo female traveller i felt completely safe and extremely spoiled this whole treat. the guides, porter and organiser truly go above and beyond for you, i highly recommend!! This is my honest and true experience, wouldn’t have done it any other way! 😋
