Fantastic service from Geotab from day one, very attentive account management team always on hand to assist us with our needs, sent out all of the equipment fast and arranging with our engineers to have the kit installed, training also provided, could not be happier with the service we have received.

We moved across from another company…

We moved across from another company after quite a bit of research on who we wanted to move to and we are very happy with our choice.
The system works absolutely like we were shown , we install our own trackers as its a simple plug and play system and have already ordered a few more trackers for increased fleet and they have always been contactable to advise and explain how and what we need to do if we are unsure .
have been using the trackers now for a couple of months and haven't had any issues .

Excellent Service

They were very good at answering all of our questions for our Fleet of Vans, very helpful with demonstrations & nothing was too much trouble when we didn't quite understand some of the items to show us & explain until we did. Very impressed with what we have, although i do still need to add some bits our end when we have 10mins

Distracting and Defective

Our company with a fleet of over 500 vans recently changed to GeoTab from Samsara. The GeoTab solution was clearly designed by someone who has never driven a van.
On installation, the dash housing had to be removed 3 times due to a cheap, small connector where the wiring kept falling out. That was a 2 hour installation by someone who has installed dozens of these cameras. That raised alarm bells.
The camera has a small, credit card-sized LED screen mounted just below the centre rear view mirror. This means taking your eyes off the road to look at the screen and try to decipher the warning. At least the Samsara system gave audio alerts which did not distract you whilst driving.
And beep it does... incessantly. The application is fraught with bugs and I doubt any pre-release testing has been done. Yawn and you get an alarm and a 'Z' displayed. Sing and you get a 'Z' displayed. Put a cough lozenge in your mouth and you get a warning for eating. Rub your nose and you get a warning for, you guessed it, eating.
The best was when I turned the sun vizor down and 'BEEP' warning for eating. About ten minutes later and right peeved, I picked up a health bar from the middle console, opened it, waved it in front of the camera, took a bite looking directly at the camera and.....nudda, nothing, luthu.
Is the dash cam any better? I have had alerts with the image of the van and a line through it on several occasions where 1) The speed control was set to the speed limit 2) I was on a motorway with 2 lanes 3) There were no other vehicles on the road 4) I was within the lane I was driving on.
Thinking the camera might be faulty, I have asked other drivers in our fleet with these curses fitted. They are all experiencing the same.
I urge other drivers experiencing this to please submit reviews to protect against unfair driving appraisals, disciplinaries and possible dismissal. If you are subject to any of these processes due to these cameras, insist on an independent assessment of the solution by a reputable, competent company.

It’s clear that the installation process was unacceptable, and the 'false positive' alerts you’re describing regarding distracted driving (AI triggers for singing or using a sun visor) are exactly the kind of friction we aim to eliminate. We understand that when technology is meant to assist with safety, it should not become a distraction itself—nor should it lead to unfair appraisals of your driving.
We take your feedback regarding the UI and the 'Z' (fatigue/distraction) alerts very seriously. Our engineering teams rely on real-world feedback like yours to calibrate our AI sensitivity and improve firmware stability.
We would like to look into your fleet's specific configuration immediately. Could you please reach out to us at technicalsupport@geotab.com or provide your company name? We want to ensure:
Hardware Integrity: Checking if the wiring issues are a batch defect or an installation error.
AI Calibration: Adjusting the sensitivity settings to reduce false alerts for eating/yawning.
Reporting Accuracy: Ensuring your fleet managers have the context they need so these 'ghost' alerts don't impact your professional record.

Déçu des services proposés ...Un de mes véhicules de flotte a été incendié, ce qui a détruit la balise.
Résultat ? On m’impose de continuer à payer malgré un cas de force majeure.
" Vos boitiers sont sous engagement jusqu'en 2028..."
Aucune empathie, aucune flexibilité : déjà une double peine pour mon entreprise.
Et depuis, silence radio : plus personne ne répond à mes appels ni à mes mails.
Au départ, tout le monde était disponible… aujourd’hui, plus personne.
Très décevant de voir un prestataire traiter ses clients de cette manière.

En réponse à votre avis : J'ai en effet contacter le SAV pour une nouvelle installation sur un nouveau véhicule, rdv prévu le 30/09, le boitier n'est jamais remonter sur l'application, nous sommes à ce jour le 29/10, un autre rdv est prévu le 31/10. Donc, je dois continuer de payer un boitier qui a été incendié et dernièrement une balise à été installé mais n'a jamais marcher !! Et je dois encore payer, c'est fou ça

Nous vous avons proposé en août dernier de faire une demande via téléphone ou via votre plateforme pour un boitier de remplacement. Nous n'avons pour l'instant pas reçu votre demande.

"Je vous invite donc à demander un devis de remplacement de matériel au SAV.
Vous pouvez contacter le SAV au 0800 73 73 73 soit en cliquant sur le cercle en haut à droite sur Reveal puis dans la rubrique "Mon compte". Vous allez ensuite dans l'encadré "Besoin d'aide pour Reveal ?" puis sur "Afficher et créer des dossiers de support" et enfin sur "Créer un ticket" ."

N'hésitez pas à revenir vers nous.
