Found this company to fix my speakers that had failed. What a breath of fresh air they were. Everything was straight forward and simple. They repaired them and sent back there like brand new. Thanks very much

I recently had my Bose headphones repaired, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. Must say that I am really grateful, for repairing my DENON AV Amplifier AVC-X4800H.
As I could not find anyone local to get it fixed.
I had a power surge, and my Denon start smoking. Immediately removed power and looked to get it done. Came back fully restored after a 6 weeks waiting time.

Thank you guys for sorting out my vintage Marrantz cd player.

The unit wasn't reading any cds, they installed new original Philips optical laser head, with a dac stage mainboard, fully recapped.
What I can say, that all cds started to sound way better.
Sound quality improved dramatically.
Overall really impressed.

Very poor communication

Sent off home cinema speaker to be repaired after getting a quote and being told they saw this issue frequently and knew how to fix it.

My speaker was too big for the free postage but there is no discount for posting it yourself, as well as the quote not including the cost for the return of the item when repaired.

Turned out the speaker couldn't be repaired, which I will take at their word, offered to be returned or recycled. Received small refund for costs in line with what they promised after chasing several times. No response to any queries about prices for different options of recycling vs return but had given up by that point.

Offered discount for 5 star review which doesn't seem ethical. It seems like they do genuinely try to repair things so if they can it's worth it, but I wouldn't use again as they seem too busy and customer service is poor.

in April 2024 I sent this company my…

in April 2024 I sent this company my caravan mover control box and remote to repair.
well several months passed by with trying to get InTouch with them to find out what's was happening, they very rarely answer any emails or the phone .
it wasn't till I left a review on here that they got in touch. They then agreed to fix my control for £150 if I took down the review which I did and paid the £150.
that was over 2 months ago now. I have manage to get hold of them twice since then only by using a different number that they don't recognise. The last time was about 2 weeks ago now and they said they was sending back my unit and refunding my money.
none of this has happened
Now I have the problem of getting back my money through my bank and getting my controller and remote back, not sure weather this would be classed as theft (will have to ask the police about that.
Anyway I would steer clear of this company they are cheats and liars and should not be in any sort of business .

Excellent service

Excellent service. Did exactly what they said they could do. Photographs provided of the unit as it was unpacked at GetItFixed, to show "arrival" condition (as packaged). All on time, and as per estimate. I did use the "express service" and postal option. The packaging as used in the despatch was that as returned to me. All without problems. Thank you.

Great service for broken Marantz receiver…

Needed my Marantz receiver fixed as it just stopped working saw this company on line and gave them a go. They we very professional in their dealings with me and kept me in form as to the needed repairs and the costs involved. they also suggested some tweaks that would improve the sound. On the plus side the amp repairs were great the amp sounds fantastic, the minus they do take some time to carry out the repairs and they could be a bit quicker on the phone. But other than that great value for money.

Useless Company!

I ask what the point is in this company?
Sent an item off, they couldn't repair it and was charged £89 for the privilege.
They answered the phone once after over 50+ calls,
their email repones is lacking too.

Item was returned weeks ago, but having to chase for a refund... and they want to keep £89 for processing and return shipping... Even though they can't fix it.

"James" has actually responded to me on this. but is less than helpful.
He actually claims the bad reviews are people trying to exploit money from them.

I strongly recommend they are avoided.

Bose Player Fixed

I was initially reluctant to send off my Bose Player into the post. Get It fixed Limited made it easy. They emailed me a prepaid label. Your parcel can be picked up from your house or take it to the Post office. I was emailed by The Get It Fixed Team to acknowledge receipt of my Bose Player and photos of all the items I had sent to them. I later received a note of what the problem and a quote for the cost of fixing it. I paid via my bank. Fix was done. Another small problem was found and I agreed to that. I thought the price was fair. Communication with the Get It Fixed Team was very good. On return of my now working Bose Player which has been returned in my original packaging and with some extra packing there were no dents or scratches. My Bose Player is fixed and sounds great. I was given a three month guarantee for the work which is not long but I'm happy enough with that. I recommend the company for the work and communication.

Fridge Freezer main board repair

My fridge freezer is now obsolete so I can’t get a replacement main board. I sent them my board for repair. On its return a week ago I fitted it and I am happy to say my fridge freezer is now up and running perfectly, great service, very happy.

Fraudsters, scammers, deceivers, and liars

I sent an amplifier for repair because it emitted a clicking sound when turned on and remained stuck in standby mode. Based on my modest knowledge, I suspected the issue could be related to a relay or capacitor in the power supply unit. On July 1st, I sent the amplifier and received an estimate of £78 based on my description. They assured me that this was a common failure with this type of amplifier. Everything seemed fine at first, but then the trouble began.
On July 9th, I received an email stating that the repair would take between 3-8 weeks, and if I wanted it done faster, I had to pay an additional £35 for express repair. This was a non-refundable fee, as it would allow the engineer to analyze the failure sooner. I paid the emergency fee immediately, and a few hours later, I received another email requesting payment for the repair, along with the cost of a replacement power block, which they claimed could not be repaired. The total was now £78 for the engineer's services, plus £32 for the power supply repair. I paid this right away and waited for their response.
Despite repeated follow-ups, I received an email on July 11th informing me that the parts had been ordered and would arrive in 14 working days. After more waiting and insistence, I received another email on July 26th, stating that the amplifier was repaired but still had fidelity issues caused by several faulty capacitors. They suggested replacing the capacitors at £38 each. I politely declined and requested that they return the amplifier without further intervention.
On July 31st, I received the amplifier. The first thing I did was check if the power supply had indeed been replaced. To my surprise, it was still the old one. Only a relay had been replaced, and it had been soldered by amateurs, not a professional engineer. Worse still, the amplifier was returned with scratches on all the buttons.
In total, I paid £145 for the replacement of a simple relay over a 3 weeks period. My advice: go to a local electronics repair shop. I am convinced you'll save money and avoid unpleasant surprises.
