We genuinely appreciate customers who dig into the science. One important note: a gaussmeter measures static magnetic fields, not the RF/EMF frequencies our WaveStopper fabric is engineered to block (think cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth frequencies in the MHz–GHz range).

For accurate results, you'd need an RF meter: we're happy to point you to specific models we recommend, as well as independent customer tests on YouTube and Instagram where others have verified the shielding performance. High quality clothing that will get you flagged EVERY TIME you go through a TSA scanner. I bought these for flying but stopped using them because i got tired of being molested at the airport every time i fly.

If the TSA scanner is flagging you, the silver is doing exactly what it's supposed to.

That said, we completely understand the friction, nobody wants extra pat-downs on every trip. A few customers swear by packing their HAVN pieces in carry-on rather than wearing them through security. Might be worth a try!

Zero customer service. I've been blown off.

Horrible customer service. Here is an email that I sent them and I have gotten zero communication back.
"I have, over the past several days, emailed, on multiple occasions to get an update on your shipping courier's mistake, where they delivered my order to the wrong house. There is a whole string of emails dating back over a month ago. And I am very upset over the lack of communication and customer care. I did not receive the product I ordered in November 2025 and the Proof Of Delivery pictures that HAVN sent me from the courier are not my house or my street. I am a repeat and previously satisfied customer who is now being ignored by HAVN. So I am now reaching out to this email address in an effort to get a swift resolution to this problem and possibly save your relationship with me. I am looking forward to your reply on Monday, March 9, 2026."

We sincerely apologize for this experience. A misdelivered order and delayed communication is not the standard we hold ourselves to, especially for a returning customer.

Poor communication

Poor communication. Item is not as decribed and does not block anything after multiple tests with multiple items. I'd avoid the company and these products.

We're sorry to hear this. Our WaveStopper fabric is independently certified by MET Labs to block up to 99% of EMF radiation, and results can be verified with a standard EMF meter.

We'd like to understand what you tested and how — different testing methods can produce different readings.

I ordered before I read the reviews now I’m worried UPDATE

I have just ordered with this company and of course I have done things in reverse. I have looked at the reviews after placing my order and these things I’m not cheap. I have ordered two beanies. That was today Monday, the 2nd of March I’ll keep you posted 
UPDATE 3/5/26 my beanies have arrived and they are beautifully engineered soft and comfortable. I slept in one last night, because I sleep with my phone really nearby because of my children and it was comfortable and cool, and I believe it does prohibit to some extent the exposure to harmful radiation.
I’m glad I ordered and thank you HAVN!!

Do not waste your money with them

Do not waste your money with them. They do not care about their customers. Purchased two items that weren’t shipped in the timeline they promised, then when I inquired, they said it shipped suddenly, but it was too late because I left that property and could not retrieve my package. So I lost $140.

Re: Their response below is a complete lie. I never heard anything from them except "SORRY, your problem not ours!" Essentially they were unwilling to do anything about the issue. Also, the items were not noted as backordered at checkout, but an email was sent with an expected ship date. Nearly three weeks past their expected ship date went by before it was shipped, which was literally two days after I inquired. Coincidence? BE VERY CAREFUL doing business with these people.

Update

My package didn’t arrived at first and I emailed the company. The tracking had said it was delivered. They didn’t offer any solution other than to take it up with the mail carrier (and they have the right to do that). The Mail carrier did find the package. I understand shipping issues aren’t their fault, but I would’ve felt better about it if they had said “let us know if they can’t find it within a week and we will send a new one”

Just felt like crappy customer service. And with all the options out there, I’d rather buy from a company with great customer service.

But. I have my hat! So all is well that ends well.

And, in regards to their reply, I *did* respond to both their emails. Their first response asked if I checked with my neighbors or family members. And then told me if it wasn’t found to file a claim with the post office.

I replied:
“Yes I checked with my neighbor. They don’t have it. So that’s it? Contact the carrier?”

They replied with a lengthy apology, noting my frustration, gave the number to file a claim, and finished with “ Again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for understanding.”

And the only reason I’m updating this is because they lied about me not responding to their emails. They could have said something like “we run a small company and we can’t afford to pay our workers a good wage and replace items that get lost in the mail too” that’s just an example. They could’ve just replied and said we’re very sorry, but that’s our policy.

It gets to be their policy that they don’t replace things that get lost in the mail. And I get to have an opinion about it.

But responding saying, I never replied to their responses, is just a way to try and make my review not legitimate. So now instead of a policy that I simply didn’t like, the company also has a basic lack of integrity.

That level of quiet lying for public approval is found in companies that later change the quality of their product for profit, but tell their customers it’s the same thing.

I placed an order (0617022189141353) on January 16 with an estimated ship date of January 27. That date came and went with no contact.

I reached out to the help center on February 4 requesting an update on my order. I was assigned to "Mark", who has not viewed my request and not logged on.

For a company that charges high prices for their products, their poor customer service and limited contact is extremely subpar. I would not recommend purchasing from this company no matter how effective they claim their product is - it doesn't matter if you never receive it.

2.5 Months Backordered "NO HELP"

I ordered 3 chains back in December, when the shipment came late in January it was only one of the three. I have asked that others replace the two that's backordered. Every two weeks Nancy send me an email saying sorry but nothing to help resolve my issue. They are still advertising what I ordered, if so why are the still backordered after 2.5 months.

Still waiting for our order…

My husband ordered a beanie on Jan 17th for my birthday (order#0617022189142146) and it never stated that it was on backorder when he placed the order. He then received an email stating that it should ship on Jan 26th. That date came and went so we reached out and now it's saying it will ship on Feb 10th. They shouldn't be selling products that they don't have and not letting people know that it will be over a month to maybe receive it.

So disappointed

So disappointed. My son wore this hat 3 times and then noticed the seam was coming undone. Quality of workmanship is very lacking and customer service was less than desirable. I was told that I could return it but that they did not do exchanges. Was so hopeful that this would be a good product and one that would last a while.

Terrible customer service

Emailed the company IMMEDIATELY after ordering because I realized it was the wrong address. They told me it’s too late cause they “ship fast” only problem is I ordered stuff on back order so that’s not even possible…terrible customer service

Havn Beanie

I have been wearing the beanie now for about a week, and I will say that my sleep quality has improved. That being said, this beanie is made for a giant, and certainly not for a bald man. It is not stylish, and feels frumpy, I wish that had different sized or it fit better

terrible customer service

Ordered a product, their unisex hoodie, on 20 December and still haven't received it. The shipper confirmed they lost the package but havn hasn't responded to my emails for over a week.

placed an order in november. website advertised 5-7 day shipping. 34 days and 11 emails later they refunded my payment with no explanation on the shipping fiasco. also the customer service reps have an attitude. do not shop here

Beware

Beware, I placed an order on 21st of December and have yet to spoken to anyone or receive my product. This is ridiculous. PayPal please get me my money back that’s all I want at this point.

Paid over $300 as a Christmas present due to arrive on or before 12/16. Items never arrived, and say undeliverable/lost!

Paid over $300 on 12/5/2025 as a Christmas gift. Was due to arrive between the 9th and the 16th of December. On December 17th it said item not deliverable/lost contact company. Now have received an email offering to resend, but NO ETA given and this was the main Christmas present; Either need a rush delivery or refund. Am asking company to please advise and waiting for response!? At this point they have neither refunded my items or resent them and its the end of the day on 12/22...

To be fully transparent: once an order leaves our warehouse, delivery is handled by the carrier, and in this case they marked the shipment as undeliverable/lost, which is unfortunately outside of our direct control. That said, this is not your problem — it’s ours to fix.

Our team has now followed up with the carrier to prioritize delivery and confirm timing.
