I usually buy used cell phones so I can feel less guilty about the environmental impact but I was very excited to support a Canadian company. My phone was no longer holding a charge for longer than a couple hours which meant I mostly had to keep it plugged in which kind of defeats the purpose. My new phone arrived in good condition. I had no issues getting it up and running. Unfortunately the battery life on it is about the same as my old phone and requires charging after only a couple hours. I'm not sure if I will purchase my next phone from them.

I was really excited as I heard good things about Orchard. Unfortunately I wont recommend them to anyone. Avoid if possible. Whatever process they use for "refurbishment" is sub par in my opinion.

I am the type of person that I use my devices for as long as I possibly can. The phone I had prior was 10+ years old and needed to be replaced only because the version was no longer compatible with most apps.

I ended up purchasing 2 phones. A Pixel 6 and a Pixel 6 Pro. One for myself and one for my spouse. The order process was easy, and shipping was fast.

However the excitement faded fast as when we went to charge my spouses phone the charging cable would not seat properly in the port. So I took my phone camera and snapped some picture of the port and I was mortified to see caked in dirt that was preventing the charger from going in. I emailed them the pictures and they gave me tips on cleaning. Luckily I have a phone/computer repair kit and was able to safely clean it but why was this not checked before sending the phone out for sale? Did they not attempt to charge the phone before sending it out because this should have been spotted. The charging port was absolutely disgusting.

Fast forward 2 months and my phone (The Pixel 6 pro) started having oddities with the screen. Occasional soft locks and unresponsiveness. But nothing of major concern. Well not even 1 day after my 60 day warranty was up - the phone completely died on me. I contacted them and they basically told me I had to pay to ship it to them and pay for them to diagnose the issue. They then said it would be better if I found someone possibly local. Which no one in my area repairs phones. So basically I have a dud phone with no option of repair.

I will be taking my business elsewhere as clearly however they are refurbishing is sub par as lots of things are being missed. I will note as well that my Pixel 6 was labelled as "Like New".

This was an amazing service. I used the buyback selling device service and from start to end I had great communication, and I received payment for both my IPad and Phone in the time period promised. Excellent service and I would definite recommend their service to anyone looking to sell their device.

Back away slowly and you will not dnd up buying a dud. I bought an IPHONE 13. They advertise a great deal about how exhaustive their process is to clean out a phone prior to sale.

NotSoMuch I wanted to add my cards for the iPhone - debit/credit as well as the spot for member cards. This category was completely stuffed with someone who travelled a great deal and had something like 70 transit cards stuffed into the iPhone. Obviously they do not do thorough checks.

It took a long time and my referral if the problem to an “expert” (PAID) to get that hoard of cards deleted. So after paying a third party to fix it, those cards are gone but the useful holder of border passes, tickets, etc is not available. That went away with the 72 transit passes.

I had a number of issues - some other minor ones and i appreciated their chat feature. Unfortunately they got VERY TIRED of me and became snarky. They did offer to take the phone back - but that was after I had paid someone to help me, and the owners offer was made with teeth gritted.

I decided to walk away. Keep the phone I bought. (It does have features I like) and we will never darken each others doorstep again.

I didn’t know how many stars. The did - after an extended period - offer to take it back but in the end remained with 1 star due to their belligerent attitude which IS TRANSMITTED even onine.

The phone was like new, they had great customer service and then sold my old phone for me!

Very poor communication. Set up a meeting, and then no show. No response to text/call. Customer care is also not reachable. Can't trust with home selling/buying.

service, price, quality based on description accurate

Bought an iphone 13 mini; the battery says 83% but the phone randomly switches off and hardly is able to hold a charge for more than 2 hours. I don't get how they're posting a full day of battery life and getting away with it; their quality control is terrible.

Item was accurately described and shipped quickly. Easy to search for the phone you want and overall a good selection. I also like that you get a charger with it and have the option of purchasing a screen protector.
We've bought multiple devices over the years from Orchard and would recommend to others.

It was my third purchase with Orchard and I also sent a few friends there. I will be back. Love the idea of sustainability, and communication and customer service is always great.

I kept putting off getting a “newer” phone but then it was too old for some apps and os. Orchard made it easier to compare features to decide on what to get. And had helpful instructions to get data from the old phone to the newer one. Made the whole process less scary. And I am very happy with my new newer phone 😁

What a great experience! I discovered Orchard on the Internet and went to their website looking for a specific phone that I wanted. Not only did they have it, they had it in the colour that I wanted and at a really great price. The transaction was very simple and I received my “new to me” phone within a few days. It was in perfect condition and the battery was at 100%. Honestly, it looked like a brand new phone for a fraction of the price that a new one would cost! I couldn’t be happier with it.
I was so happy with the transaction that I decided to ask Orchard to sell my old phone for me. They offered me a great deal on it and again it was easy to pop it in the box that the new one had come to me in, put a label on it and send it back to them at no charge.
I will definitely be dealing with this company again when I eventually decide to upgrade my iPhone once again.

Although I could have got a used iphone cheaper elsewhere, I preferred to buy from a Canadian company. I like your website, was easy to search available phones by type etc. Delivery was very prompt and the used phone was nicely cleaned and well packaged and so far working well. Also I was kept well informed by emails.
Only thing I had trouble with was printing your shipping label to the correct size! I did not have option to print in "Actual size" and "Default" print, 100%, and various percentages I tried all cut off the first part of the label.

I was very happy with my iphone that I ordered. It was better than expected. Looked almost brand new and I ordered "good". Arrived on the west coast in 3 days even though Canada Post had rotating strikes and I don't live in a major city. I was very concerned about receiving and not getting lost. I even phoned the company and I was reassured that everything would be fine and it was. Very impressed with the packaging. Neat, tidy, well packaged. They even gave me a new plus and cord. Orchard seems like they care about their customers and it seems like their standards are high.
