Glo Official 

Absolutely a scam. Looking at the reviews on their website bought the product and the product they sent does not match the product description. I have been trying to email them trying to make them understand that I want to return the product and get my money back but they don't seem to respond and when they do respond then they play dumb as though they don't understand English. They offering me $5 compensation. It is a joke. Never ever buy from this company. Big scam.

Absolute scam. Like others I bought the laser hair growth cap for what I thought was £149 when I pressed buy, which then magically increased to £164.17! and to add insult to injury, a non sterling transaction charge of £4.52 also disappeared from my bank account. A barrage of emails followed to customer service who finally offered to refund me everything I paid in excess of £149, but I obviously haven't received this and never will.

The product itself is a joke. It is not a hair regrowth cap as is advertised, it's basically just some cheap red led lights on a thing that goes inside a cap, which also needs to be connected to power. It is not rechargeable and there is not a single laser to be seen, absolutely stinks as well.

After taking a picture of the box and doing a Google lens search, I found the same thing on Ali-express for, I think, £35.00. I feel such a fool and I have zero confidence in this doing anything positive for me and so I have ended up putting it in the bin.

As for getting my money back, unfortunately I used my debit card so the actions I can take are limited, so I write this to urge everybody not to buy ANYTHING from Glo Official.

Customer service is a joke. Extremely hard to contact and you wont get help. Refund is a joke. Shows people wearing the hat but it has to be plugged in. “User manual” is laughable. Definitely wish I had researched the company more. Would 100% NOT recommend.

Cheap product, not as described. This is a scam, they don't even have an official website you have to go through infrared light therapy site. Really poor quality and clearly something you can get off temu...hoping to get my money back but judging by the rest of the reviews this is going to be tricky.

Hi All don't buy anything for this company SCAM merchant's ordered smart glass not what i ordered cheap Chinese copy's just rubbish, i have contacted the bank to see if i can get my money back.

As all the other reviews stay away. Same thing has happened to me after it was “apparantly reviewed “ as five star so I stupidly used the link and purchased before doing proper checks on the company.
Item was not what I ordered when I finally received it, constant emails stating they can’t take it back etc and would offer just $20 compensation for an item that cost £149.
Total scam, I have reported it via Googles website for scam websites etc and would encourage others to do so too
I’m sure they will pop up again under a different name but definitely worth letting people know

Received a mask that was advertised as originating from the UK. Was shipped from Hong Kong, and had to be returned to Mainland China. Arrived faulty, battery pack was obviously broken/faulty. They offered a $15 refund, then a $20, then a $30. Tried to tell me I just needed to charge it. Filed a claim with PayPal and was refunded. This product is CHEAP and NASTY. The website has fake reviews all over it and FAKE endorsement banners. DO NOT waste your money. There are far superior quality products out there for cheaper/same price.

Do not purchase anything from this company. Absolute scam. Unfortunately I believed their reviews and product. I purchased the hair red light and laser therapy regrowth cap. The product supplied does not even look anywhere near similar to the pictures. Also it is not laser. Completely false advertisement and I'm in the process of getting my money back. They offered $5 compensation. I'm pursuing a full refund.

DO NOT buy from this company. I was scammed out of $339 NZD.
I bought the hair growth cap specifically because the glo-official website advertised “80 laser + 100 LED lights” in each cap. That combination was the main reason I chose it.
What actually arrived:
- Only 48 LED lights — no lasers at all
- Poor build quality, with the lights not even attached to the cap
- Looks nothing like the product shown in their photos
It is a cheap, generic product that doesn’t match the description or images on their website.
Another factor in my decision was the Trustpilot reviews displayed on their site. Those reviews appear to be taken from other websites and used to mislead customers into buying their products.
I do not recommend this company. Their advertising does not match what they deliver.
BUYER BEWARE!!
Don't bother trying to get a refund from the company, they charge a 15% restocking fee, less $25GBD, PLUS they make you pay for return postage. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone scammed by this company get your bank to do a chargeback. I did,and got all of money returned to my bank account.

We purchase a gift and unfortunately it had 2 of them.
We tried to return one it is being an incredibly bad and ridiculously frustrating experience. It maybe the worse I have been so far to return a product.
The agent name is Yulia, after explaining the situation and being under the return policy days.
They keep offering 5 or 15 for you to keep the item that was 129+.

I do not know how this type of company carry on still active but something needs to be done.
Clearly a Scam

I bought the led cap for hair growth. It doesn’t look anything like the item advertised and is ment to be a chargeable device so you can go about your day but it only works while plugged in. They are praying on peoples insecurities and ripping people off with scammy knock offs

Be careful!! They are stealing your money. This is a fake company. Their stuff is not working. It costs €598 and they don’t do refunds or returns. Be careful!!!! They steal money.

Fraud. No confirmation email, no way of cancelling order. Avoid.

SCAM!! I unfortunately believed the fake trust pilot reviews on their page and received a faulty led face and neck mask doesn’t work at all cheap rubbish from china £202 they offered $12 refund. This was advertised on a top 10 beauty site which must also be fake

A misleading website, I come the Glo website after reading an article that it is the number 1 air purifier, it said it will ship by Royal Mail, high trust pilot score and turn out to be all lies. The package is being shipped from China!

I just received my Glo7 Duotone Color Changing Foundation Stick in the colors 01 and 03. All I can say is … don’t waste your money. The ‘product’ goes on smoothly without leaving my skin feeling either dry or damp … however … I purchased two colors because 1) I wasn’t sure which color would work best for me and 2) I figured if they both worked one could work for when I have some tan and one for when I don’t. To that end I applied each to one side of my face and blended them both in. They both looked exactly the same … no ‘coverage’ of imperfections and a distinct white cast with no color change whatsoever. And … there are no returns for open/used products so, while it’s ‘fairly’ inexpensive … it’s money gone.

I came across this site via infratherapyguide.com which looked independent and gave reviews of top red light therapy caps. The site looks convincing, with lots of relevant and correct information about red light therapy. I clicked through on the top recommended product, which was the Glo-official red light therapy cap.
The first sign of a problem came from the tracking, which didn't function. I then did a reverse-image search on infraredtherapy and found that images were ripped from other sites. Neither the reviews site or the Glo site as legit operations.

The product arrived but did not work. I've had exactly the same response from the company as a previous Trustpilot reviewer and have now raised a Section 75 claim.

The company replied to my email and:
Ignored clear explanations of the fault
Asked for irrelevant photographs (a photo cannot demonstrate that a device does not work)
Attempted to impose return shipping costs on faulty goods
Threatened restocking fees, handling fees, and deductions
Repeatedly offered insulting “compensation” amounts instead of a lawful refund
Their offers escalated from $5… to $12… to $20… to a “maximum” of $30 — on a £149 faulty product.
Each email was filled with scripted apologies and statements like “you are our important customer,” while simultaneously refusing to comply with basic consumer obligations.
At one stage, they stated:
The customer must pay return shipping
A 20% restocking fee would be deducted
A 15% handling fee would be deducted
Shipping fees are non-refundable
These policies do not apply when goods are faulty — yet they continued repeating them.
