When I first met Jon I was extremely nervous but he saw the potential I had and he made my dream come true. Now 5 years later and Jon will still answer any questions I have, any concerns I have and always is willing to help.

I’m about to graduate with my Master’s and begin working full-time in America after playing college soccer and none of that would have been possible with Jon’s help and guidance over these years.

I have worked with Jon for a couple of years and I have no hesitation in recommending his services. He has great contacts and found me my best opportunities out in the States. Jon makes sure he understands your individual criteria, is always available and has been so positive and encouraging. I played in the showcase Jon put on, it was a great and really well organised opportunity to show myself to a wide range of coaches and enjoy the environment. I can't speak highly enough of everything that Go 2 College Soccer do. Jon Maloney has been an incredible source of support for me both before and during the entire process. Any queries or worries I had were promptly addressed and thoroughly explained. I went to my first showcase/event in 2017 and they were extremely welcoming, I kept going until I moved to the States. The fact that these showcases are available is fantastic because this is how my highlights were produced. The competition was intense, and the events were of an exceptional quality. I recently entered the transfer portal, so I reached back out to Jon, and he was willing to promote me as a player to new colleges which made the process smooth and less stressful and I have now committed to my new school. I would recommend to anyone wanting to study and play in America to get in touch.

I have known Jon since 2017 when he signed my daughter Grace to play for Harrogate Town Ladies, whist there he made her the club captain at 18. She really enjoyed her time with Jon as her coach and her game developed under his guidance, he saw the potential in her and changed her playing role from centre defence to centre midfield where she plays now.

It was during this period that Jon said he thought she would be the perfect fit for life as a student athlete in the USA, he had already gone down this route himself so could speak from experience.

She went on to play in a showcase event where there were a lot of coaches watching from the USA, after the event Jon helped enormously. It was then that his knowledge of the game in the USA shone through, he helped us choose the right fit for Grace as there was a lot of interest from various universities. Fast forward to 2023, she is 3 years into life at a University in Florida living her dream.

Jon is still in regular contact with Grace and I, he is always there for advice if needed and shows a keen interest in her development. It is this personal approach I believe that makes Jon stand out amongst his peers.

I am so glad I chose to work with Jon throughout my collegiate soccer experience. I knew that I wanted to play in the US, but had no idea where to begin and how to navigate all the intricate details in between. Jon made the process so much simpler and gave me the utmost confidence that nothing had been missed out.
I had the opportunity to attend multiple showcase events, which were extremely well organized and of a very competitive standard. This was a great chance to build up individual game film, which the team helped put together and led to multiple coaches across Division I and II reaching out regarding their interest.
Jon helped me through every step of the process, whether this be setting up meetings with coaches, making sure I was asking the right questions, and most importantly, ensuring I was confident and happy with the university I decided to commit to.
Jon's help and guidance didn’t end when I committed to my university. Throughout my time in America, he consistently checked in about how I was finding everything. I was also 100% reassured that I could always reach out at any time if I ever needed help, whether this be something big or small.
Jon and the whole team really take the stress away from a potentially daunting situation and help you to focus on the excitement of your future playing in the US. I am forever grateful for the doors they opened for me and, still today, their ongoing support.

Jon and the team were incredible helping me on my journey finding a school in the US. I didn’t really know where to start when wanting to play football in America. But came across Jon and his team. We first met Jon and the team when my daughter, Taylor was 15 years old at trial event with the dream of heading to America as a student athlete. Not only did Jon help her with that dream but he followed through the whole process with her even now she has completed her degree and is back in the U.K.

I was anxious about my daughter going to America to live and study but it was the best decision she has ever made. She was helped with the decision process when making her choice through Jon’s experience and had a number of great offers to choose from. She made friends for life and definitely made the most of the whole experience. Taylor regularly comes to events to speak with potential student athletes about her experiences in America and also working with Jon and the other team members.

As parents, the Mrs and I have been unbelievably impressed by Jon and the work that he has done throughout the process. Even now she has graduated, Jon is still offering support at no extra cost. Very down to earth guys who are in the business for the right reasons in helping others achieve their dreams of living and studying in America!

Taylor is now doing a PGCE and had a fantastic experience as a student athlete in America. When she went for her interview, the review panel couldn’t have been more impressed with her resume and that she had been to America as a student athlete.

John has been an amazing help with his expertise, connections and knowledge about playing football in America. Especially in the Women’s game, he has the knowledge and foundations to help players gain an education and continue playing at a high level.

He is not only an amazing agent but also a great person and friend who looks out for and guides his players. I could not be where I am today without his help and guidance. His ongoing support is amazing too. I will forever be thankful.

My experience of moving to the states for soccer has been a whirlwind of emotions but with the help of Jon, I was guided in a direction that made the transition of living abroad as easy as possible. To begin with, Jon came to my house to meet with both myself and my parents to discuss what the process of playing soccer in the States looks like and how he would be able to help me moving forward. Jon stayed in touch frequently throughout the first few years regarding upcoming trial events and games that would give me the best opportunities to get hold of film that I could send to coaches in the future. He helped me create an amazing highlight reel that incorporated film from both the events as well as my club football at Manchester City. Once coaches started reaching out, Jon helped me connect better with those that were interested and then passed the conversations on to myself where I learnt more about each school. I am graduating in April after spending four years in Alabama and I am about to move to Texas for a fifth year. Throughout these four years, Jon has kept in touch and we have talked about my achievements and any additional questions I had along the way. I have felt supported through every step of this process which has not only aided myself but my parents too, knowing I was looked after in every step. I cannot recommend Jon enough for guiding your daughter through this next chapter of their lives. I have been lucky enough to experience so many things throughout this journey and wouldn’t have asked for a better person to guide me into that next step.
